In the biology class, my teacher likes to assign tasks to us. As a result,

we always need a partner to finish homework. It is hard to find a suitable

partner. I have changed many partners until I met Lucy. Lucy was a new student

here. She just came to this class this semester because her parents changed

their jobs. She asked me to be a team with her and I said yes. I found Lucy and

一、指导思想：

围绕课改完善和深化学科教学常规，严格执行教研室、学校的各项教育、教学制度和要求，加强英语学科与信息技术的整合，聚焦常态课堂，关注教师成长，强调团队合作精神，全面提高英语教学质量,切实抓好校本科研、校本培训，从而促进全体英语教师的业务水平。

二、基本思路：

1、教学目标：培养兴趣，加强学法指导，抓常态课堂、高效课堂，稳固提高英语教学质量。

2、教研目标：组织进行校内外的教学研究活动，认真撰写论文，组织老师上研究课、示范课，通过研讨、评课等形式，做好课后反思，使本组教师理论与实践水平共同提高。

三、具体工作：

1、加强理论学习，更新教学理念，全面推进素质教育。全体英语教师都要抽出时间学习新理论，以先进的教育理念指导自己的教育教学实践。改进评价内容和评价方法，即努力做到关注学生学业成就的同时，还要关注学生情感态度、行为方式的发展，注重培养学生综合实践的能力，全面提高学生的素质。

2、强化教学常规的落实，提高课堂教学效率，组织教师认真学习学校教学常规，指导检查教师的教学工作，特别抓好“备课”、“上课”、“课后辅导”、“培优辅导”等主要环节，鼓励教师充分发挥教学特长，有效提高教学效率。

3、加强集体备课仍是本学期教研组工作的重点，因此要做到有计划、有目标、有实效，不走形式，各备课组每周至少活动一次，时间固定，要紧紧围绕教研组活动的主题，并有活动记录。以集体力量、集体智慧来提高英语组全体教师的业务水平。

4、打造“常态课堂、高效课堂”。教研组各教师认真学习常态课堂的基本要求，并每人按计划上一次公开课，要求集体备课，及时评课，找出不足，共同学习，共同促进，以学生的主体作用为重点，以合作学习的时效性为重点，从而来实现高效课堂。

5、加快信息技术学习进程，从而推动学科教学与信息技术的整合。组织所有教师运用现代教学理念设计多媒体教学辅助课件，组织多媒体教学观摩活动等，达到能将多媒体高效运用于英语教学中。

6、加强初三毕业班工作的研究，提高毕业班教学效率，组织全组成员认真学习《大纲》、《中考说明》，加强对中考动向的信息收集和试题研究。抓好听、说、读、写综合技能的培养，特别注重学生阅读能力的训练，另外所有英语教师要协助九年级教师搞好中考复习和模拟考试，力争中考第一仗顺利。

7、组织本教研组教师撰写论文。英语组要确定教研专题，全体英语教师通过理论学习和校本培训，不断反思、探索，并联系实际积极撰写英语教育教学论文。

总之，在校领导的带领下我们英语组全体组员会开拓进取，不断完善自己，将教学质量放首位，为学校的教育事业贡献力量。

As is known to all, China is popular for its emperor of bicycles. This is

because our country is still a developing country and few people can afford

private cars. The demand for a means of transport is met by making millions of

bicycles available. Riding a bicycle has a lot of advantages over driving a car.

First, it is a physical exercise to ride a bicycle. In contrast, sitting in the

car, one tends to gain weight. Besides, it is nmch more economical to ride a

bike than drive a car. On the one hand,the only fee a bike-rider has to pay is

the annual tax. However, the annual fees for a car are costly. On the other

hand, a bike neednt be equipped with a parking lot, but a car must. Most

important of all, it is beneficial to the environment to ride a bicycle because

the bike doesnt consume petrol; it is a pollution-free transport. In contrast,

the exhaust released by the car is harmful to the environment. Since China is a

developing country with a large population, bicycles will still be the most

popular means of transport in China for quite a long time. Most people will

still ride bicycles to go to work or to school. The emperor country of bicycles

will remain for at least dozens of years.

Every year, the thing I expect the most is the Spring Festival. My parents

work far from home and they come back one or two times a year. The Spring

Festival is the time they come home. Every time they come back, they bring mangy

things to me. When I was little, they bought me toys, new clothes and shoes.

Now, they often buy me books. They say more reading is good for me. They hope I

can learn more. The time spend with them is always happy but short. They only

have half a month at home. I hope they can stay at home longer.

Changes in My Hometown

Great changes have taken place in my hometown these years. There used to be old and low houses on the streets,but now you can see people live and work in tall buildings. In the past, you could always see rubbish everywhere. But now the environment is clean and tidy. Many trees are planted on both sides of the street, so the air is very fresh.There were not any buses in my hometown, so most of us used to walk to work or go to school by bike.However, life is much better now. Many people buy their own cars, so they go out by car.

Many people, sometimes myself included, tend to judge a person by his

appearances.

I was afraid of my uncle who has a scared tattoo on his arm till my mother

told me a “story”. When I was a three-year-old naught boy, I always ran around

the neighborhood with my toy saber. Unfortunately, one day I hit a wild dog by

accident. The dog became crazy and tried to bite me. It was that time my uncle

appeared and protected me with his strong arm. However, this accident left a

scar on his arm. My uncle went to get a tattoo in order to cover up the scars.

From that moment, he is my hero in stead of a bad looking uncle.

So we need to go beyond peoples looks and focus on more internal spirits

in order to truly judge a person.

My Class

here are forty-two students in my class, with 25boys and 17girls. It’s an active class, and the reason may be that the boys are more than girls. The classroom atmosphere of our class is very good, because we interact with teachers quite often. Our classmates are all united and helpful to each other. We often organize some activities to enhance the relationship between classmates and our regular activity is the English Day in every two weeks that we can only speak English during recess. Maybe it sounds a little difficult but it really funny and classmates enjoy it very much.

一说到家庭趣事，我就忍不住笑，忍不住想起春节那次包饺子比赛。

那是正月初一，我们一家人和爷爷、奶奶、大伯家、姑姑家，只有我家人数最多，去年我妈妈给我添了一个小弟弟，我家就有四口人，总共十二人聚在一起，异常热闹。

我们大家庭有个传统，一家人聚在一起，一定要包饺子吃，这次也不例外。妈妈和姑姑准备了饺子馅，做好了饺子皮，只需包饺子了。一家之主的爷爷却下命令让他们停下来，把专心看电视的我、堂姐、表妹叫到跟前严肃地下达新的指示：“今天的饺子由你们三姐弟负责！”“什么！我可不会包饺子？”我心里暗暗叫苦，可看堂姐，表妹没有异议，我也不敢一个人抗命！爷爷继续说：“本次包饺子采取竞赛制……”一听比赛我就来劲，好奇心使我大声嚷嚷：“比赛赢了奖金有多少啊？”话音一落，爸爸一口茶直喷出去，打趣道：“就你财迷一个！”大家都笑了，堂姐和表妹也大声附和。爷爷说：“放一万个心吧！孩子们，奖金大大的有，但要听好规则。本次比赛由我和你奶奶当评委，饺子包得好最好看的和数量最多的，就可以领到奖金。”一听到有奖金，我们都特别兴奋，摩拳擦掌，双眼金光四射，准备大干一场。

在我们的注视下，爷爷右手高高举起，停顿三秒又迅速放下，“比赛开始”的命令也随之发出。

我们三个立马行动。我首先抢了一叠饺子皮和一碗饺子馅放在自己眼前，左手撕下一张饺子皮，右手拿起筷子夹起一坨肉沫放在饺子皮中间，然后把饺子皮重合，捏紧，一气呵成，一个饺子成功了。

“一个良好的开头是成功的一半。”但事实却是让人失望的。惨了，由于没有沾水到饺子皮上，我的手还没有离开，饺子皮又分开了，我赶紧拿起又捏了一次，再放盘里，又散了。这下，我可着急了，再偷看表姐和表妹，她们都做好了一个，而且精致小巧、超级好看，放在盘子里，没一点散架的危险。我一急下手重了，皮都被我给捏掉了，馅也落了下来。我急得要哭了。妈妈赶紧过来帮我。妈妈说：“把饺子皮放在左手掌心，饺子馅要适当，太多了就会撑破，太少就撑不成形。然后将饺子对折成半圆形，捏紧中间。用手指将右半边饺皮先封口，再用同样的方法将左半边也封口记得一定要封牢。把饺子两端向中间弯拢，将两端饺边捏在一块捏牢，使半圆形的边微微翘起。”妈妈说完，一个美丽的元宝饺就成形了。

我赶紧学，刚才因为馅放多了，老是把饺子皮撑开了，这下我学乖了，只放适量的，按妈妈说的，我一步一步，也终于捏好了一个饺子，可怎么看都不像个元宝，就像一个面疙瘩。不管三七二十一了，反正已经落后一大截了，我必须加快速度。

不一会儿，堂姐和表妹面前的盒子已经排满了，我也不甘落后，努力的包着，时不时地偷偷看看她们的饺子数。大人们都被我们吸引过来了，不时指点我们，为我们加油打气，弟弟也过来凑热闹，把案板上的面粉拍得到处都是，把大家变成了“小白脸。”他的两只手还不停地往脸上擦，不一会儿，就把自己弄成了面粉脸，逗得众人哈哈大笑。女孩子就喜欢笑，我心中暗喜，特别感谢弟弟，手下的动作加快了。

终于，最后一坨饺子馅也被我抢来包了。我长长地吁了一口气，直了直酸痛的腰，看着自己盆里的成果，脸不竟红了。

爷爷和奶奶开始评比了，马上就可以宣布结果了。我有些忐忑不安。

爷爷宣布：“本次比赛，斯斯和紫微的饺子外形美观，寓意年年有余，是好兆头，并列第一，请领奖金！”看着堂姐和表妹兴奋地从爷爷手里领过大红包，我有一丝失落。

“紫瑞包的饺子，外形虽不美，但数量第一，有奖！”爷爷的声音又响了起来。

“我也有？”抬头一看，爷爷手里还扬着一个大红包，太好了，我一蹦三尺高，红包就到了我手里，满屋子爆发出一阵笑声。

有趣的包饺子比赛结束了，我得了红包，全家得了欢乐！更重要的是我明白了一个道理：做任何事情，一定要亲自去实践！

I think reading as the most rewarding entertainment activities in my spare time.

Not only does reading provide me with a wide range of knowledge, it also broaden my mind towards the world. Different sorts of books contain various thoughts of life, work, relationships and cultures. When reading a novel, I can experience joys and tears of the characters through one story after another. When it comes to a biography ,I can even speak to the great person as if he stood towards me. Don’t always regard reading as tools to prepare for exams or show off how knowledgeable the person is.

A true reader is the person who shows knowledge naturally while communicate with others. Reading indeed has an important impact on people’s behavior, which is the reason why I will never give it up.

The first snow came. How beautiful it was, falling so silently all day

long, all night long, on the mountains, on the meadows, on the roofs of the

living, on the graves of the dead! All white save the river, that marked its

course by a winding black line across the landscape; and the leafless trees,

that against the leaden sky now revealed more fully the wonderful beauty and

intricacies of their branches. What silence, too, came with the snow, and what

seclusion! Every sound was muffled, every noise changed to something soft and

musical. No more tramping hoofs, no more rattling wheels! Only the chiming of
