每个人都有刻骨铭心的第一次，比如第一次做饭，第一次游玩，第一次写字但让我记忆深刻的是我第一次养了一只小动物——它是只可爱的小狗。

事情发生在三年前。那天下着毛毛细雨，一位阿姨送给了我一只小狗。它的毛是棕色的，两只眼睛注视着我。像我不停地摆动尾巴。我一兴奋便忘记了家里不适合养小动物，就把它带回了家。他在我怀里，我生怕他淋湿了，用毛巾盖在他身上。终于到家了，我找了个纸箱，把毯子和不要的裤子垫在里面，不要让小狗冻着了。

妈妈回来了，我上去迎接，小狗尾随我。妈妈见小狗便问我：这小狗哪来的？我支支吾吾地说：那个，我呃，一个阿姨送给我的。妈妈说：哎，算了。这只小狗太可怜了，今天又在下雨，算了过几天送走。于是，小狗就暂住在我家了。晚上，外面下起了雷雨，小狗蜷缩在窝里。

我去看他时它在不停地嗥叫这。不是还发出几声呻吟。我躺在床上，小狗的叫声一直萦绕在我的耳边，我想大概是它饿了吧？于是拿肉给它吃，可它不要吃。我不知所措地坐在沙发上。小狗喜欢吃什么呢？小狗啊，对了！小狗要喝奶。我连忙把牛奶倒到了小盆子里给小狗喝。

小狗津津有味地喝起了奶，朝我摇了摇尾巴，蹭了蹭我的脚，我开心极了！哪种喜悦和怜爱的感觉涌上了心头。

可是那只小狗三天后被妈妈送走了，我伤心极了！和妈妈赌气了好几天。现在还特别怀念那只可爱的小狗——我的第一次养动物记。

During the winter vacation, nothing is different for my life. i wake up 11 oclock am everyday, after a washing, i have a good lunch with my parents. next i play computer games till the time to have supper. after have dinner. i go on playing till 2 oclock am, and then go to sleep with tired. this is one dull day of my winter vacation.

Dear Sir,

I am highly disappointed in the proposed 2004-05 budget cuts to educa1ion. Taking away basic aid status and slashing our school budgets is a recipe for educational disaster in our school. The future lies with our children. They must have access to high quality educa1ion.

My husband and I have worked hard to be able to live in a school district that provides high quality education for our children. Cutting funding in districts like ours will have a negative impact on property values.

The school that my daughter attends is hardly wha1 I would describe as a "rich" school. Parents are asked to pay for books for all the classes, science supplies and for their students to participate in the performing arts among other items. If our school is to remain a world leader in technological development, cutting our school funds is the worst possible choice to make.

Education funds should not be diverted away from education.

After eating zongzi, my father took me to watch the dragon boat race. There

are lots of people here, and the traffic is very busy! The race started, and

every team is ready to go. With a burst of gunfire, each dragon boat flies

across the water like an arrow. The audience cheered and shouted, cheering and

encouraging for the contestants. The contestants listened with confidence and

strove hard to paddle, and the water splashed everywhere. Each dragon boat

chased after each other. At last, the laggard No. 1 finally caught up with the

far ahead No. 2. The audience couldnt help cheering. There was a sea of joy

everywhere. Ah! This is the most unforgettable day for me.

逐出宫中。屈原气得不得了，跳进了汨罗江。当地的渔夫得知后划着小船把竹筒里的米撒向汨罗江给屈原。之后，大家把竹筒盛米改为粽子，把划小船改为赛龙舟来纪念屈原。我们全家都十分敬佩屈原，因此，我们家每年都过端午节。

端午节的传统习俗就就是吃粽子。我们家有一个名副其实的包粽子好手——我的妈妈。每年端午节的.时候，我们全家都能吃到可口的粽子。妈妈常说：用芦苇的叶子包的粽子最香。所以，每年端午节妈妈都用芦苇的叶子来包粽子。她在包粽子之前，先做好准备工作：把芦苇的叶子放在水里煮一煮，然后把准备好的糯米和枣分别洗一洗。等芦苇的叶子凉了以后，她就开始包粽子了。

她先取三片叶子，将这三片叶子卷成一个圆锥体，然后先放一个枣，之后在里面放上糯米，中间再夹几个枣，最后用线把叶子捆好，一个粽子就包好了。她包的粽子又肥又大，活像一个个老佛爷在睡觉。等粽子包完后，然后妈妈把它们放在高压锅里蒸四十分钟，再放三四个小时，使其入味，然后就能够吃了!妈妈包的粽子十分香，香得使我一见到粽子就会大口大口地吃起来。所以，每当吃粽子时，我总就是吃得很多!

过端午节除了要吃粽子，还要赛龙舟哟!

我最喜爱看赛龙舟了，几十个水手都拿着桨，奋力地划着，擂鼓的水手士气高昂，用力地敲着。“加油，加油!”场外的拉拉队激情洋溢，发出雷鸣般的呐喊声、助威声，水手们听了不得不更加使劲划船。整个赛龙舟的场面十分壮观、热烈。

吃粽子、赛龙舟，这两样传统习俗共同编织了一个热热闹闹的端午节。

原先一直听人提起这本书，今天才有机会一见。原来傅雷一家会有这样坎坷的遭遇。傅雷夫妇因为时被打为“右”倾双双自杀，他的大儿子傅聪在波兰学钢琴后来自由出入到英国被骂为叛徒。他们直到1979年才被平反，安葬在龙华公墓里。

在信里被傅雷父母对两个儿子：傅聪、傅敏和傅聪的妻子弥拉及他的孙子凌霄的爱而深深打动，里面也包含着傅雷在音乐方面的独到见解，对傅聪在波兰期间学习的谆谆教诲，叫他如何学习俄文，如何学弹谱子，如何讲礼仪，如何做人，如何对待他的老师，如何对待自己的祖国……一字一句，字字肺腑。

The Lantern Festival falls on the 15th day of the 1st lunar month, usually

in February or March in the Gregorian calendar. As early as the Western Han

Dynasty (206 BC-AD 25), it had become a festival with great significance.

This days important activity is watching lanterns. Throughout the Han

Dynasty (206 BC-AD 220), Buddhism flourished in China. One emperor heard that

Buddhist monks would watch sarira, or remains from the cremation of Buddhas

body, and light lanterns to worship Buddha on the 15th day of the 1st lunar

month, so he ordered to light lanterns in the imperial palace and temples to

show respect to Buddha on this day. Later, the Buddhist rite developed into a

grand festival among common people and its influence expanded from the Central

Plains to the whole of China.

Till today, the lantern festival is still held each year around the

country. Lanterns of various shapes and sizes are hung in the streets,

attracting countless visitors. Children will hold self-made or bought lanterns

to stroll with on the streets, extremely excited. "Guessing lantern riddles"is

an essential part of the Festival.

Lantern owners write riddles on a piece of paper and post them on the

lanterns. If visitors have solutions to the riddles, they can pull the paper out

and go to the lantern owners to check their answer. If they are right, they will

get a little gift. The activity emerged during peoples enjoyment of lanterns in

the Song Dynasty (960-1279). As riddle guessing is interesting and full of

wisdom, it has become popular among all social strata.

People will eat yuanxiao, or rice dumplings, on this day, so it is also

called the "Yuanxiao Festival."Yuanxiao also has another name, tangyuan. It is

small dumpling balls made of glutinous rice flour with rose petals, sesame, bean

paste, jujube paste, walnut meat, dried fruit, sugar and edible oil as filling.

Tangyuan can be boiled, fried or steamed. It tastes sweet and delicious. What’s

more, tangyuan in Chinese has a similar pronunciation with "tuanyuan”, meaning

reunion. So people eat them to denote union, harmony and happiness for the

family.

In the daytime of the Festival, performances such as a dragon lantern

dance, a lion dance, a land boat dance, a yangge dance, walking on stilts and

beating drums while dancing will be staged. On the night, except for magnificent

lanterns, fireworks form a beautiful scene. Most families spare some fireworks

from the Spring Festival and let them off in the Lantern Festival. Some local

governments will even organize a fireworks party. On the night when the first

full moon enters the New Year, people become really intoxicated by the imposing

fireworks and bright moon in the sky.

In the happy winter holiday, I learned how to organize their own room, learned to scrambled eggs, but my biggest harvest is to spell out the several independent electronic puzzle, it has taught me can only do one thing care and patience.

I have a lot of large and small electronic puzzle elliptic electronic parts, as long as these parts according to the manual assembly model aircraft can spell out a variety of shapes. 在这个愉快的寒假里，我学了如何整理自己的房间，学会了炒鸡蛋，但是我最大的收获是独立拼出好几个电子拼图，它使我懂得了只有细心和耐心才能做好一件事。

我的电子拼图有很多大大小小的椭圆形电子零件，只要将这些零件按照说明书组装就可以拼出各种形状的航模。组装它们不是一件容易的事，要有足够的细心和耐心才行。我先按说明书拿了几个零件拼，可是感觉拼出来的模型歪歪扭扭的，也不会转动。于是就把它们拆掉重新拼。第二次，我重复上次拼拼出来的也还是不像，反复几次总是拼不好，我感觉我的耐心渐渐失散，就把它丢到一边不管了。妈妈看到后说和我一起拼，于是我们对照说明书重新开始，一点一点检查，原来我把两块相似的零件搞混了，所以拼出来的模形是不会转动的。

当拿着拼好的第一个模形时我很开心，我知道不论是拼模型还是做其它事情，光有耐心是不够的，还要有足够的细心才行。

后来我又拼出了好几个各种各样的模型，感觉很有成就感。

I am at present a student at Mary High School, Hong Kong, where I have been studying for the past five years. I passed the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination last year with distinctions in English and History, and credits in Economics and English Literature. My advanced-level subjects are History, Economics and English Literature. In addition to these subjects, "Use of English" is also a compulsory subject because a pass in English is a minimum requirement for admission to most faculties of the University of Hong Kong.

我家养了一只可爱的小乌龟。我可喜欢它了，每天都去看它。

它和别的乌龟与众不同。坚硬的背壳上穿着漂亮的绿衣裳，水灵灵的小眼睛总是东张西望，小巧的嘴巴非常贪吃，快速灵巧的四肢跑起来可快了。

它可贪吃了。今天我看它一动也不动，趴在那儿，闷闷不乐，用可怜的眼神看着我，还不停地张大嘴巴好像向我要吃的。看着它可怜的样子，我立刻拿出小虾米，分出一小块一小块，放在它的餐盘上。它看见立刻抬起头，眨着眼，伸长脖子就开始狼吞虎咽起来，不一会就把小虾米一扫而光，看它吃东西的样子真可爱呀!

第二天，我发现盆里的水黄黄的，黄中带了一些黑点，一看原来乌龟又拉便便了。我只好清理了脏水，小乌龟在干净的水里又快活地游来游去。

“屈子冤魂终古在，楚乡遗俗至令流”，听到这句古诗，我不禁想起了端午节。

相传屈原是春秋时期楚怀王的.大臣，他倡导举贤授能、富国强兵，力主联齐抗秦。结果，遭到贵族子兰的强烈反对，屈原遭馋言去职，被赶出了都城。在流放中，他写下很多诗歌。公元前278年，秦军攻破楚国京都，屈原眼看自己的祖国被侵略，在五月五日抱石投江而死。后来，人们为了纪念他，把这天称作“端午节”。

屈原死后，楚国百姓哀痛异常，纷纷划着小船来到江上纪念他，一位渔夫拿出为屈原准备的饭团、鸡蛋等食物，投入江中。从此，这就演变成了划龙舟、吃粽子的习俗。做粽子先要用咸肉做馅，再加入少许味精、白糖、酒、盐和生抽，然后用粽叶把它裹起来，最后用绳子把粽子捆起来，放入锅中煮，一小时后就可以取出来吃了。

闻到粽子的清香，读着关于端午节的诗，我感受到了祖国历史悠久、文化辉煌，我期待着下一个端午节的到来。

在泰宁旅游的第二天，我们来到了被称作为世界地质公园的大金湖景区。

来到了大金湖，我们登上了游船，我站在船头一边迎着从湖面上吹来的袭袭凉风，一边欣赏着沿途的风景，只见湖水非常清澈，能够一眼见到湖里的小鱼，周围都是一座座小山，山上的树木郁郁葱葱，还盛开着一大片鲜嫩的黄花菜。很快我们来到了岸上的第一个景点——甘露寺，听导游介绍甘露寺有五绝三怪，其中的一绝就是寺庙是隐藏在赤石深壑之中，左边一块红岩石就象硕大的钟，右边的那块则象一面独步天下的巨鼓，而甘露寺是一柱插地，不假片瓦，悬空甘露寺便在这钟鼓之间“右鼓左钟，庙在其中”，那根柱子叫“吉祥柱”，传说抱一下这根柱子许下个心愿就会心想事成。接着我们又来到了“一线天”，这里非常陡峭，而且越往上走台阶越窄，最窄处只能容纳一个人小孩行走，成人则只能猫着腰侧着身子走，峡谷里最黑的地方伸手不见五指，每个人要爬上去必须连摸带爬的，我一不小心抬起了头，差点磕破了脑袋。最后，我们又来到了苗家山寨，能歌善舞的苗家姑娘为我们表演了迎宾舞和竹杆舞等，最有趣的要数抢亲了，苗家姑娘用抛绣球抢到小伙子后双方就拜天地，最后男方再把女方背起入洞房。

船靠岸了，今天快乐的旅行马在欢声笑语中结束了。

I have a beautiful room. Although my room is very small, I love it very much. Look, there is a bed near the window. I like sunshine so my bed is set near the window. In front of the bed, there is a desk on which is several series of books. What’s more, I have plastered my bedroom wall with photos of my family. The light in my bedroom is light pink because I like this color.

春天，在阳光轻柔地呼唤声中，嫩绿的芽苞一个接一个地探出脑袋，这便是它们生命的开始，它们的到来给这棵老树带来了生机。夏天，它们变得很绿了，它们伸展开来，擎起了一树浓绿，花开在它们上方，淡黄色的小花在它的映衬下似乎更加娇艳美丽，于是，这棵树又重新焕发出青春，绿叶们将它们的青春都付诸这棵树上，尽管它们在这棵树上起到了不可或缺的作用，却很少为人所赞美。

秋天到了，它们无悔的付出终于有了结果。看，那隐藏着的小果子们在绿叶的庇护下露出脑袋，兴高采烈地蹦到人们的篮子里。果子丰收了，叶子们也已经黄了，秋风萧瑟，无情地抽打着这些奉献者的身躯，它们不得不离开它们为之奉献了一生的地方。但纵然是死，它们也要长眠于这棵树下，它们直到生命的终结还不忘再多奉献一点，望着那一片片残损发黄的落叶，感动之余思绪不禁飘向了远方。

夕阳的余晖下，那一个稍显佝偻的背影，双鬓斑白的他却还在学校坚持教书，为国家培育栋梁之材，他的身影被夕阳镀上了一层金色的光辉。那退休的老职工、街边扫马路的老清洁工，不都是落叶的化身么，他们的一生都奉献给了他们所热爱的事业，即使是到了老年也不停止他们奋斗的脚步，为我们的幸福生活作好了铺垫，于是我想起了那句古老的诗：“落花不是无情物，化作春泥更护花。”

其实人的一生并不一定要轰轰烈烈，只做一片平凡的落叶。即使在别人看来一切都微不足道，不必期望惊天动地，也不必艳羡万众瞩目，平平凡凡、默默无闻的落叶也美丽。

it has been 2 days since i didnt come here and write my diary.today is the totally holiday for the first time. i got so much fun.i went to meet a friend who i didnt know before.she is my colleges girlfriend in the future.hehe.but unfortunately, when we get there,she wasnt there.we got a little depress .

im recieved a lot of messages from many friends unkonwn.here,im wanna say thanks to all of you and your supporting.because i am lazy, so sometimes i cant find the right time to read your diarys,and leave some message to show my support,hope you will not think me slefish.thats all today.thanks to all of you.

I like dogs, because they are man’s good friends. They can do many helpful thingsto us, such as guarding our houses, greeting guests, helping the police, and soon. Some trained dogs can even lead the blind people and save people’s lives.So they‘re treated as our family members. I hope someday dogs will be in greatharmony with human-beings.

我喜欢狗，因为它们是人类的好朋友。他们可以为我们做很多有用的事情，如，保护房子，问候客人，帮助警方等等。一些受过训练的狗甚至可以引导盲人、拯救人们的性命。所以他们都被当做是我们的家庭成员。我希望有一天狗能与人类和谐共处。

一提到冬天，我们就自然感到冷落、枯木萎草的景色联系在一起，似乎冬天是冷酷无情的。然而，我今天却要为冬天呐喊一声，赞美家乡冬天那高尚的风格。

家乡的冬天非常美，虽然没有雪花飞扬的风雅景色，大雪遍地的壮丽风光，但它在我心中却是个“宝地”。老舍先生对济南冬天的山山水水是那样的一往情深。在他眼里，济南的冬天一切都是那么的美，一切都是那么的可爱。是一方“宝地”，一个“理想的境地”。我像老舍一样，但他是对济南，而我却对自己家乡的冬天也是那么一往情深。

济南的冬天是温情的，而我家乡的冬天是非常美丽，为什么美丽呢?接下来由我一一介绍：我的家乡冬天时遍地也都是绿色，家乡的河边种满了松柏树，松柏的生命力顽强，它在冬天是最后凋落的。孔子也曾说过“岁寒，然后知松柏之后凋也”。

我家乡的冬天和济南的冬天一样。这里虽不像济南一样下雪，却一样是温暖家适的。在这里农田把家乡围了一个圈，这一圈农田在冬天特别可爱，好像把我的老家放在一个小摇篮里呵护着，感到温馨和温暖。

我的家乡虽不像济南，但它依旧是美丽的，我想它给人就是一种美的享受，但人陶醉其中，感觉温暖和舒坦，令人回味无穷……
