四年前，我的班主任是黄老师，一位慈祥又严厉的男老师。四年前的二年级下学期，我作为202班的班长，要代表我们班在散学典礼上演讲。其他班也一样，于是老师们忙开了，都在为自班作演讲稿。唯独黄老师。他要我自己写，可是，我一个小小的二年级学生，怎么懂得写演讲稿呢？我多羡慕其他班班长拿着的那张印着整整齐齐一版的A4纸，我没有那样的待遇！

但是没有办法，我只好硬着头皮艰难地写了300多个字。300个字，二年级，二年级！我反反复复琢磨了好多遍，把原稿都修改的完全没有再修改的空间了。我一有时间就熟读，从不浪费我的一点点时间，我一直在提醒自己——我知道我行的，我一定要加油，要令其他班长和老师刮目相看！

好不容易等到了演讲那天，我紧张的不可名状，虽然稿子已经熟的不得了了，但毕竟是第一次，难免心会发慌。轮到我时，我鼓起勇气，昂起了头，走上了那对我来说极其神圣的演讲台。我努力挤出笑容，慢慢自然地从极度紧张变得越来越平缓。300个字很快就读完了，最后一句“谢谢大家”话音刚落，全场立即响起了同学们不约而同的掌声。我忽然觉得，好自豪。也许同学们的掌声只是一种尊重，但对于我来说，却无比重要。

这场演讲的前前后后的事，不知为何，我一直清清楚楚地记得。著名作家林清玄在他的作品《如果麦子没有考验》中，写过这么一句话：人的灵魂也跟麦子的灵魂相同，如果没有任何考验，人也只是一个空壳罢了。

这场演讲的准备，就是黄老师对我的考验，也是经过这一次，我慢慢地成长，不断地提升自己。在五年级那场大队委竞选上，我的演讲获得了全校超半数有多的支持，一步登上了副大队长的职位。不仅如此，经过那次演讲，我在学校的名气瞬间彪高，反响非常大。

我不用再羡慕别人了，我就是我的骄傲。

农历五月初五，是我国传统的端午节，又称重五、端阳、端午节。早在周朝就有“五月五日，蓄兰而沐”的习俗。这天，家家户户吃粽子，南方各地举行龙舟大赛。人们在这天还要悬菖蒲、洒雄黄水、挂艾枝、喝雄黄酒，杀菌防病。传说端午节源于屈原。他是楚王的大臣，他倡导富国强兵，联齐抗秦，遭到反对，被流放。公元前278年，秦军攻破楚国，屈原悲愤，写下了绝笔之作《怀沙》后，投汨罗江身亡。他死后，有人打捞他的身体，有人投饭团，后来怕饭团被蛟龙吞食，就用栏叶抱起饭团，投下汨罗江，这就成为今天的粽子。

我家也有过端午节的习俗呢!因为要吃粽子，所以老妈要包粽子。首先把糯米用欗叶包成一个三角形，角要尖，然后放入3-4颗大红枣，用欗叶裹紧，系上五彩绳，一个粽子就做好了。老妈一个个地做着，汗水无声的落着，终于，把粽子都做好了。接着就开始煮粽子，一般要煮一、两个小时才会又香又糯。粽子煮好了，我迫不及待地打开锅盖，阵阵粽香向我袭来，我尝了一口，啊多么美味的粽子啊!这是老妈用辛劳的汗水为我制作的美食，我永远都不能忘怀。这就是我家的端午节!

Music is part of our life, nearly everybody will listen to the music, no

matter what nation they are from. Music is divided into many types, such as the

用完了七色花，我们周围的一切都会像刚造出宇宙万物时那么美丽，那么祥和，没有战争、没有污染、没有......有的只是大自然最初赋于我们的宁静、和平和自然。

世界如果能像这样美好，那该有多好啊!

Everybody is afraid of failure, because it means what they do is useless

and they waste their energy and time. But people get the wrong idea about

failure, in fact, failure is also success. If people want to be successful, they

need to take action. Failure at least means people have tried to do, what’s

more, people can learn from their unsuccessful experience, so that they can

improve their methods. Every failure means the closeness of success, we should

take the positive attitude to failure, we can get over it soon and people

finally can get the victory. So when we meet the difficulties, don’t be afraid

of the bad result, just take action.

Computers are affordable for almost all people nowadays. As a result, an

increasing number of college students take computers to their dormitory to

browse website, watch movies and play video games and so on. This phenomenon has

caused lots of public concern. Some people believe that computer does bad to

students’ health for college students spend more than five hours staring at

computer without break every day. However, for other people, they are positive

to students’ owing computers because students can search for the newest

information. Standing on my point, I’m more tending to the first opinion.

Reasons are as the following:

Firstly, computers will transfer students’ attention. If students take

computers on campus, they would spend much time on computer than on study. For

instance, lots of my classmates usually play computer for amusement once class

is dismissed instead of going to the library to read more books to enlarge their

knowledge circle.

Secondly, students spend lots of time on computers which hurts their

health. It is quite often seen that students stay in dormitory for almost a

whole day without any breaks playing computers. It is all known that computers

have radiation which hurts eyes and skin.

To be honest, students can use computer to search for the updated

information that they want. But for the reasons above, I firmly believe that

students shouldn’t bring computers to college.

Everybody knows that our life is very short, so the great educators always

advocate us to do what we like and pursue for our goals bravely. Most people

have many ideas in their minds and they dare not to take action, because

thinking of the effort they make but what if they accomplish nothing, so they

decide to give up and just live the boring life. It reminds me of the famous

words, some people just die at age of 20 but only to be buried at the age of 70.

As we are young and full of energy, it is a good time for us to fight for our

future, never be afraid of failure, because it is the mother of success. We can

achieve our goals if we have patience, just to cherish time and keep

fighting.

The Lantern Festival falls on the 15th day of the 1st lunar month, usually

in February or March in the Gregorian calendar. As early as the Western Han

Dynasty (206 BC-AD 25), it had become a festival with great significance.

This days important activity is watching lanterns. Throughout the Han

Dynasty (206 BC-AD 220), Buddhism flourished in China. One emperor heard that

Buddhist monks would watch sarira, or remains from the cremation of Buddhas

body, and light lanterns to worship Buddha on the 15th day of the 1st lunar

month, so he ordered to light lanterns in the imperial palace and temples to

show respect to Buddha on this day. Later, the Buddhist rite developed into a

grand festival among common people and its influence expanded from the Central

Plains to the whole of China.

Till today, the lantern festival is still held each year around the

country. Lanterns of various shapes and sizes are hung in the streets,

attracting countless visitors. Children will hold self-made or bought lanterns

to stroll with on the streets, extremely excited. "Guessing lantern riddles"is

an essential part of the Festival.

Lantern owners write riddles on a piece of paper and post them on the

lanterns. If visitors have solutions to the riddles, they can pull the paper out

and go to the lantern owners to check their answer. If they are right, they will

get a little gift. The activity emerged during peoples enjoyment of lanterns in

the Song Dynasty (960-1279). As riddle guessing is interesting and full of

wisdom, it has become popular among all social strata.

People will eat yuanxiao, or rice dumplings, on this day, so it is also

called the "Yuanxiao Festival."Yuanxiao also has another name, tangyuan. It is

small dumpling balls made of glutinous rice flour with rose petals, sesame, bean

paste, jujube paste, walnut meat, dried fruit, sugar and edible oil as filling.

Tangyuan can be boiled, fried or steamed. It tastes sweet and delicious. What’s

more, tangyuan in Chinese has a similar pronunciation with "tuanyuan”, meaning

reunion. So people eat them to denote union, harmony and happiness for the

family.

In the daytime of the Festival, performances such as a dragon lantern

dance, a lion dance, a land boat dance, a yangge dance, walking on stilts and

beating drums while dancing will be staged. On the night, except for magnificent

lanterns, fireworks form a beautiful scene. Most families spare some fireworks

from the Spring Festival and let them off in the Lantern Festival. Some local

governments will even organize a fireworks party. On the night when the first

full moon enters the New Year, people become really intoxicated by the imposing

fireworks and bright moon in the sky.

The fifth day of the fifth lunar month is the dragon boat festival. For more than two thousand years， dragon boat festival has been a multi-ethnic folk festival of national fitness， epidemic prevention and disease elimination， plague prevention and poison elimination， and pray for health.

Dragon boat festival， also known as duanyang festival and chung Wu festival， is said to be the day when qu yuan， a great poet in ancient China and one of the four cultural celebrities in the world， threw himself into the gurgling river to die for his country. For more than two thousand years， the fifth day of the fifth lunar month has become a traditional festival to commemorate qu yuan every year. Historical records show that in 278 BC， on the fifth day of the fifth lunar month， qu yuan， a doctor of Chu and a patriotic poet， heard the news that Qin Jun had breached the capital of Chu. he felt sad and angry， and his heart ached. he resolutely wrote his last poem " Huai Sha"， threw stones into the Miluo river， and sacrificed himself for the country. People along the Yangtze river have led boats racing to salvage， evoking spirits along the water， and throwing zongzi into the river， lest fish and shrimp eat into his body. This custom has lasted for more than 2000 years.

每个人都会有第一次，我们都会对第一次充满好奇、新鲜、恐惧等等，而我最难忘的第一次是自己骑自行车上学。

在四五年级的时候，我就非常羡慕那些可以自己骑车上学，放学可以自己骑车回家的人。因为，我家离学校远，所以，爸爸来接总会迟一些，于是，我日盼夜盼，盼星星，盼月亮，终于盼到了可以骑自行车的年龄了，买好了车牌，我就迫不及待地想要骑车了。第二天，我便早早地起了床，匆匆吃了早饭后，背上书包，推着自行车出了家门口。一股刺骨的寒风向我袭来，好冷啊！于是，我系好围巾，戴上手套，全副武装后，就踏上自行车，向学校出发了，一路上，电瓶车、汽车、大卡车都从我身边飞驰而过，我害怕被车碰到，就骑得特别靠右边，每次有车辆要从我后边冲上来时，我就提心吊胆的，等车辆开过，才稍微加快了一点速度。转弯时，我也要时不时地回过头去看看有没有车过来，如果确定没有车过来，我就赶紧转过弯去。在上学的路上，我第一次这么提心吊胆过，因为每一次都是我爸妈送我到学校的。等安全地到达学校时，我才长长地舒了一口气。当然从第二天开始我就不再害怕了。

通过这件事后，我得到了一个启示，只要我们尝试过了第一次，那么我们就会更有兴趣地去尝试第二次、第三次。

时光荏苒，光阴飞逝，一转眼，六年小学生活即将结束。六年之中，有欢笑，有泪水，还有不舍……

欢歌笑语

记得有一次，我们去横店春游。到了活动场地，同学们就像脱缰了的野马一样，向四周分散出去，整片场地上都游荡着同学们的欢笑声。我和其余的几个同学坐成一圈，兴奋地交谈，还玩了许许多多的小游戏。这次横店之游令我玩得不亦乐乎。此时此刻却成了我难以割舍的记忆，我一定要将它好好珍藏，成为我心中那颗明亮的星星。

依依惜别

在我三年级下半学期的期末考试结束后，班主任童老师告诉我们，在休学典礼之后，童老师就要离开我们。我们都特别舍不得童老师，但也不想童老师太为难，所以我们为老师准备了一个饯别会。当老师走进教室看到我们精心为她准备的一切，激动地流下了泪水，我们的泪水也因舍不得老师夺眶而出。

热切关心

在五年级的一次体育课上，因为前一晚下过雨，导致操场上有许多积水。突然，我被一个同学撞了一下，又因地面太滑而摔倒了。膝盖上磕破了皮，立马渗出了血。同学们看见了连忙跑过来问我要不要紧，还有同学拿来了碘酒和棉签，小心翼翼地给我处理伤口，顿时一股暖流涌上了我的心头。

六年，也许可以换来一棵大树;六年，也许可以换来一番事业;六年，也许可以换来一仓粮食……对于我来说，六年，换来的是一份深厚的情谊。希望在将来，我们还能遇到彼此，重温那美好、愉快而又难忘的小学时光。

一天，我坐在沙发上没事做，而妈妈却在忙里忙外地坐着家务。看着妈妈忙碌的身影，我的心中闪出一个念头——帮妈妈做家务活。

开始，妈妈硬是不让我做，她说:“你平时在家里娇生惯养的，还想帮我做家务，别帮倒忙就行了！”我撒娇地对妈妈说:“就是娇生惯养才要锻炼嘛，您就让我做，您去歇着吧！”妈妈被我缠得无可奈何，最后还是答应了。

首先要做的是擦地，妈妈叫我不要用拖把拖，要用抹布擦，这对我来说可是高难度的呀！我先从浴室里打了一桶水提到客厅里，有从阳台拿来抹布。我把抹布丢在水桶里浸湿，在拧干，然后学着妈妈的样子，挽起袖子，把抹布紧紧地攥在手里，接着半蹲在地上，使劲的擦着，地上的灰尘全都被我擦掉了。有时候，腿蹲得酸了，我干脆跪在地上擦。我从角落里往外擦，从房间擦到客厅。等我把地擦好后，我已是汗流浃背，两边膝盖也跪得红红的，但看到一尘不染的地面，我的心里甜滋滋的。

干完了第一件家务后，我来到房间里，看见床上有几件脏衣服，我便把这些衣服搬到浴室里，准备开始洗衣服。

我先拿出一个大水盆，在水龙头下接了半盆水，然后把脏衣服全部倒进大水盆里，再往里面加入适量的洗衣粉，搅拌均匀。我又从房间里搬来一张小板凳，便开始一件一件地搓洗着。一不小心，白沫溅到了我的脸上，我看到镜子里面的我，不禁哈哈大笑起来。

我把一件件脏衣服都搓洗过之后，就把盆里的水全部倒掉，又重新接了半盆清水。我把衣服全部倒进盆里，让清水把衣服上的洗衣粉洗干净。洗干净后，又把盆里的水换掉。就这样，我洗了好几遍，直到水清得看不见泡沫，我才准备把衣服拿去晾干。我刚要直起身，“哎哟！”我的腰疼得不得了，我都站不起来了。

晾完衣服后，我又帮妈妈做了许多家务事。一天下来，我已经筋疲力尽了。

我终于体会到了妈妈平时做家务的辛劳。今天，真是难忘的一天啊！

今天是农历的端午节(又名诗人节)。端午节是多独特的风俗习惯，分为包棕子，吃棕子，划龙舟，喝雄黄酒，以此来纪念爱国诗人屈原。据《史记》“屈原贾生列传”记载，屈原是春秋时期楚怀王的大臣。他倡导举贤授能，富国强兵，力主联齐抗秦，遭到贵族子兰等人的强烈反对，屈原遭馋去职，被赶出都城，流放到沅、湘流域。公元278年，秦军攻破楚国京都。屈原眼看自己的祖国被侵略，心如刀割，于抱石投汩罗江而死。 Today is the Dragon Boat Festival of the lunar calendar (also known as Poet Day).The Dragon Boat Festival is a unique custom habit. It is divided into brown -babes, eating brown seeds, rowing dragon boats, and drinking male wine to commemorate the patriotic poet Qu Yuan.According to the "Biography of the Historical Records" "Qu Yuan Jia Sheng Biography", Qu Yuan was the minister of King Chu Huai during the Spring and Autumn Period.He advocated that he was able to teach his energy, the rich and strong soldiers, and forced to fight Qin Qin. He was strongly opposed by the nobles Zi Lan and others.In 278 AD, the Qin Army broke through Chu Kyoto.Qu Yuan saw that his motherland was invaded, and his heart was cut like a knife, and he died in the Luo River in Hao Shi.

早上，我们怀着沉重的心情，座上达州到汩罗江的大巴，一路上雨纷纷落下，仿佛是天上在哭泣，那么凄凉又惆怅……路上的花花草草不再鲜艳，而是为屈原祈祷，那么的悲痛……

中午，我们下了大巴，感到一丝凉意。

我们来到汩罗江的时候，划龙舟的游江仪式已经开始了。无数条龙舟缓缓地移动，龙舟缓缓地形成了一个圈，突然，一个很长的龙舟出现了，小龙舟立刻改变阵形。过了一会儿，大龙舟停了下来，小龙舟围着大龙舟，缓缓地形成一个大圈，随着，小龙舟慢慢地走，唱起了我哥回的音，我们也喊起来：“我——哥——回——，我——哥——回……”这就是招魂仪式，“我——哥——回”在山间，在水里，在天空回荡着，惆怅，凄凉。

随着招魂仪式的结束，划龙舟开始了。

随着一声枪响“呯!”，龙舟开始动了，船上的人齐心协力，前面一个人舞旗，后面一个人擂鼓，敲一声，船桨就划动一下，船桨整齐化一，每敲一下，浪花就溅起来。场上的气氛发生了变化，从清凉到热烈。我看那龙舟的气派，心头感到无比的兴奋!我们大声喊到：“加油!加油!……”“黄龙超过了青龙，红龙超过了黑龙，紫龙超过了白龙，蓝龙超过了……”这一声声，代表了我们心情的跌荡起伏!

最后红龙获胜，我们在红龙冲线的那一瞬间，大声喊起来!

过了一会儿，抓鸭子比赛开始了!一只只鸭子被放入水中，人们纷纷跳入水中，有的用水手抓，有的用双手抱，有的用手打……过了一会儿，突然见一只鸭子飞起来，飞出了龙舟围成的围外，看起来只能不管它了。

过了一会儿，抓鸭子比赛结束，有的人有一只，有的人有两只，有的人一只也没有……

我们欢呼着，结束了龙舟节……望屈原在天之灵与我们同乐。

Dear Mr. Wang,

Thank you for a rapid response to our invitation. Enclosed you will find an outline of events to take place during International Week here at the University of Montana. I will also list a number of possible speaking engagements so that you can choose those things in which you are most interested. As far as topics are concerned, the topics for classroom visits are generally determined by the professor, but most professors are very flexible. We have approximately thirty-five faculty members that teach courses in Asian Studies, ranging from language and culture to history and economics.

Here is a tentative schedule:

Sunday, April 8th

10 am - Cultural Exhibition opens

12 am - International Festival begins with a speech by the university president and an introduction of visiting dignitaries

1-5 pm - Opportunity to visit festival, interact with student performers, taste foods

6 pm - Dinner with Director of Mansfield Center Phil West, Ambassador Mark Johnson, and staff of Mansfield Center

As you can see, there is tremendous interest in China here at the University of Montana. Please let me know if this outline suits your purpose, and if not, please dont hesitate to offer any suggestions for changes. We can arrange as many or as few speaking engagements as you have time for.

今天早上，我和妈妈早早地从床上溜下来，为的不仅仅是在堤上买到新鲜的蔬果，更是为了出来呼吸新鲜空气。

我和妈妈开始慢跑，尽情的呼吸新鲜空气，虽然我们来的很早，但是堤上早已有人在晨练了。

堤上的人真是做的事五花八门。有的在跟买菜的小贩讨价还价，有的在面对席家州大声的捶胸呐喊，有人在骑自行车。堤下已有不少勤劳的农民开始耕种，鸡开始鸣叫起来，这叫声似乎唤起了大自然的一切生机。

小草又开始生长了，花儿又绽放出美丽的笑脸；母鸡带着小鸡到席家州附近的草地觅食，鸭子成群的开始下水游泳，牛开始不停地甩这尾巴赶走讨厌的蚊子。大自然变得多么生机勃勃。

远处河东高耸的摩天轮在浓雾中若隐若现，雾像是一道白色的轻纱覆盖住了一切建筑，像是一个人间仙境。

天边那红色的朝霞开始亮了起来，起初是深红的然后逐渐变成了淡粉，最后变成了金黄，旭日慢慢向上升，一刹那天地突然亮起来了，雾渐渐淡了然后逐渐消失，周围的一切事物清晰而明亮。

这次晨练真实感悟颇多啊！

I always think there is not enoughTime. For example, I have just taken a

three-day holiday. But when I look back, I just feel that it’s only one day.

There goes a proverb, “Time is money”. Now I want to say, time is more precious

than money, because when money is spent, we can earn some more again. However,

when time is gone or lost, never will it return.

Time goes without being noticed. The time for our study and work is usually

limited. So I think we must make full use of our time. But it’s a pity that I am

always not aware of the importance of time until it’s too late.

So I think, I should get into the good habit of saving time because wasting

time is equal to wasting one’s life. Do not put off what can be done today till

tomorrow!

快乐。快乐是童年棒棒糖的回忆;快乐是游泳池嬉闹的情景;快乐是年幼玩游戏时的笑声;快乐是夜晚一家人出去散步;快乐是……

快乐，从一年级到现在，我的心里藏着许多的快乐……

一年级，令我快乐的事是我光荣地走进人生的第二阶段——小学，啊，我终于上小学了，我认识了许多的好朋友;令我快乐的事是我光荣的成为了一名少先队员，有六年级的大哥哥大姐姐为我们挂上鲜艳的红领巾，我们在国旗下高举右手宣誓，望着五星红旗徐徐上升，我们这些祖国的花朵，都默默地在心里播下了“好好学习，天天向上”的种子。那时我们是多么快乐啊！

二年级，令我快乐的事是我成为了老师眼中的好学生、好帮手，同学眼中的好榜样，父母眼中的好孩子，我也各方面表现优异，得到各科老师的好评，话说“一分耕耘一分收获”，我在期末也得到了好的回报——奖状。校长在校园的国旗下发奖状，当我知道我是“三好生”时，别提多快乐了。

小时候，我如一只小小鸟，有许多的快乐，现在，我长大了，我依然是那么快乐……

我能帮父母分担家务，陪他们出去走走，聊聊天;能帮助同学，课余时间和同学探讨学习上的问题;能做好老师的小助手，帮他们分忧解劳。这，都是快乐的事。

在我们的中国有着许许多多古老的传统节日，此刻我为大家说说端午节吧！端午节又称为端阳节，是我们中国十分隆重的节日。端午节是我国二千多年前的旧习俗，直到此刻人们还在过端午节，它是纪念我国战国时期伟大的爱国诗人屈原。

农历五月初五就是端午节了，家家户户都要包粽子，还有搞笑的划龙舟比赛呢！奶奶在家已经煮好了香喷喷的粽子，打开锅盖满屋都飘着粽子的清香，让我闻得口水直流个不停。然后我迫不及待地剥开粽子叶津津有味的吃了起来，真是回味无穷呀！

吃完粽子后，爸爸带我去看划龙舟比赛，那里人山人海，车水马龙的可热闹了！比赛开始了，各个队伍都蓄势待发，随着一阵枪声一条条龙舟飞快地划过水面，犹如一支支箭向前飞去。在场的观众们兴奋喊道着加油加油，在为参赛者加油鼓励，参赛者们听了心里充满了信心使劲地划桨，水花到处飞溅。各条龙舟你追我赶的，最后，落后的一号最后追上了遥遥领先的二号第一个冲过了终点，观众们不禁欢呼起来，到处都是一片欢乐的海洋。啊！这真是我最难忘的一天了。

中国的传统节日真是丰富多彩呀！他就像一座巨大的宝库，还有许许多多的传统节日等着你去找呢！
