I went to Beijing on vacation with my parents last month and we stayed there for a week.

To my surprise, Beijing is such a modern city that my parents and I all admire the development of it these years. We visited many wonderful places there, such as the Forbidden City, the Summer Palace and the Great Wall. What impressed me most was that people there were all very friendly and some of them could even speak Enlish. But still I think that there are some problems of this city, which I dislike. Those are too many people there and the heavy traffic. If there were fewer people and less traffic, it would be better.

Taking exercise is good for our health. All work and no play makes Jack a

dull boy. By taking exercise, we can relax our body and mind. At the same time,

we can harden our muscle and have a good figure. If we dont take exercise for a

long time, we may easily fall sick.

I enjoy several outdoor sports. Swimming in the sea is my favorite. Because

there are too many people in a swimming pool and the water is always dirty, I

暑假里的一天，我和妈妈跟随亲子夏令营来到了古代帝王的宫殿——故宫，饱览了故宫之丽。

游览故宫之前，我们就阅读了朋朋哥哥写给孩子们的《宫?城》。书中阐述了许多历史和故事，其中印象深的有一段是花了大幅篇章描述了故宫的排水系统。最近北京下过大雨，也有新闻报道说百年故宫竟不积水，这让我感到十分疑惑。于是，我带着好多疑问来到了故宫。

我们在文化导师小松哥哥的带领下进入了故宫。一进午门，展现在眼前的是一座座气势宏伟的宫殿。蓝的天白的云，下面是黄色的屋顶，红色的柱子，中间加上过渡色蓝绿彩绘，冷暖色调相互辉映，这么美的画面真的震憾心灵。

故宫不仅具有观赏性，还具备实用性。紫禁城的护城河——金水河，它不仅有防敌、消防的作用，还能泄洪。我最想看的是各宫殿须弥座上的昂头向外的“螭首”。在太和殿的广场上，我近距离观察了，螭首嘴中有一个小洞，可以喷出多余的积水。流到太和殿广场上的雨水，再根据地势变化，流向台基下的券洞，最终经券洞通过明沟暗渠，排到护城河里，这样一来故宫再也不怕大水了。但是为什么这些螭首上的小洞就这么大小，大点不是排水更快吗?我想再回过头去看看《宫?城》，能不能找到答案。

除了这些，在互动游戏中我回答了角楼的作用。我还看到了龙凤呈祥的交泰殿，最具东北特色的坤宁宫，具有十只脊兽的太和殿，在御花园留了影……还有许多各具特色的宫殿，我们没来得及细看，也给我这次故宫之行留下了小小的遗憾。

每个人眼里的故宫都不一样，同一个人不同时间看到的故宫又不一样。有机会我会再游故宫，到那时又会是怎样的感觉呢。

有一天，我问爸爸为什么会在浙江工作，爸爸告诉我大学毕业后，来浙江寻找工作，遇上妈妈，因为我是爸爸妈妈爱情的结晶，所以以“源”字谐音，这样就有了我的存在。

我爱动，也爱交朋友，也爱玩，从7岁开始上小学，只要有艺术节，大家都指着我，我很奇怪，为什么每次都是我去，后来爸爸跟我说，同学们都选我，说明我在大家心中公认的实力派，也说明自己以前学得本领都有了用处，更重要的就像爸爸说的，我有了可以展示自己舞台。

当 我们吃完晚饭从海景酒店出来时，夜幕已经降临，驾车走在人民路上。滨城的夜真美啊！路的两侧灯火辉煌，亮如白昼，一排排高大挺拔的槐花灯好像城市战士一样 威严耸立。随着街灯伸向远方，隐隐望去犹如一条闪光的长龙，把宽阔的街道照得灯火通明。远处显现出一排排五颜六色的彩灯构成的一幢幢大厦轮廓，楼顶上还有 霓虹灯设制的“电子图像广告”。一会儿几匹马在奔驰，一会儿几条巨龙在腾飞，一会儿又变成各式各样的汽车美女广告。中山广场上的百只和平鸽好像知道有客从 远方来，齐刷刷得飞上飞下像似在列队表演欢迎我的外国小客人。这时候迈克已经眼花缭乱了，兴奋地直呼“MYGOD”的。

大约10分钟，我们 来到亚洲第一大广场――星海广场。一座座高大的金融大厦在七彩灯光的照耀下反射着道道红光，映射着我们大连的经济发展鸿运齐天。放眼望去，广场是那么宽 广，那么洁净。花坛两边摆满五颜六色的鲜花，绚丽多彩，令人目不暇接。整个广场张灯结彩，人潮涌动，每人手里都拿着照相机、录影机，争先恐后地拍下这令人 难忘的瞬间……我和迈克也不示弱挤进人群，在象征着人类非凡智慧的“天书桥”边摆了好多造型，照了好多照片，我们又光着脚丫在凸凹不平的大脚印上走来走 去，我告诉迈克一定记住大连之行的足迹啊！

看着迈克手中的录影机，我心里骄傲极了！我知道大连的美把他镇住了。作为大连的一份子我很自豪，因为我们的城市越来越繁荣富强，越来越婀娜多姿！我坚信不久的将来世界各国的小朋友都会争先恐后地来大连做客！
