Welcome to our school! Our school is the key middle school in this city.

Now we are in the front gate. Entry in this school, you can see there is a big

football playground on the left and a big resturant on the right. If you’re

right behind the football playground. We spend most time in the classrooms.

Behind the teaching building, there is a little lake with many fish in it. Oh,

there is also a nice library next to the lake. After the class, we can entry the

Its spring now. The weather is warm and comfortable. Its a good time for

hiking. Therefore, my teacher organized a climbing for us. There is a beautiful

mountain in my city and its target this time. We took bus there and arrived

there at 9 p.m.. After we took off the bus, we started to climb. The mountain is

high but the scenery is beautiful. We are so excited that we climbed fast at

first. But after a while, some of us were tired,especially girls. They did not

On the weekend I like to spend time in library. I like reading books. There

astronaut Mark left on the Mars alone, he did many things to keep himself alive.

The main function of public libraries is to provide books for people to

read.In a library,there are books on different subjects,such as Chinese

history,fine art,science,English literature,and so on.There are also works fo

fiction.

The public libraries are crowded with people on weekdays as well as Sundays

because many people,especially students who want to consult reference books for

their school work,know that they could at least learn something there.

Besides reading in the library,we can also borrow books with library

cards.But books on loan had to be returned within a couple of weeks.As far as I

know the number of people who borrow books from public libraries is increasing

year after year.

I go to the City Hall library twice a month to read.

Serious Floods

The Yangzte River is the longest river in China. And its important and helpful to us Chinese. But these days the Yangtze River is bringing us serious floods.

Many villages were destroyed by floods. The floods made hundreds of millions of people lose their homes, relatives and friends. Many children cant go to school as usual .Now the foods have drawn the attention of the whole world. People from abroad have offered their help too. I like to read the travel books so much. I can see all kinds of beautiful

scenery. Reading someone else’s story makes me feel so excited, I want to be

part of them, just take a bag and then go out for travel. So I must learn to be

Yesterday, after a long meeting in the class, all the students had been

told about the safe issues, then the summerVacationfinally came. All of us

felt so happy and liked a free bird, rushing to home quickly. I had been looking

forward to this holiday for such a long time, I really needed to take some rest

after studying for a semester. I have made some plans for my summer vacation.

First, I wanted to spend some time to stay with my grandparents. I miss them all

the time and they always tell me to visit them when I have the time. My grandma

will cook the delicious food for me. Second, I want to read some books I like,

such as the fiction books. I don’t have much time to read fiction books because

I have to focus on my study. Summer vacation provides the time to adjust

myself.

I have a wide range of interests and enjoy doing many things during my free

time.

I am fond of reading. I often read after class. My classmates like watching

TV while I prefer to read. I read various kinds of books and newspapers that

they afford me stories and news. The book I like most isThe House on the Mango

Street. I am also a music lover. Pop music is my favorite. I often listen to the

music programs on radio and I also have an MP3 downloading all my favorite

songs. In addition, swimming and badminton are my favorites, too. They help me

build a healthy body.

In short, I enjoy my life in school very much. Reading books, listening to

music and doing sports are very helpful to my health and my studies.

What is art? When people think about this question, they will naturally

first ever swimming gold medal as well as setting a new world record in the

womens 400m medley.

Sun Yang sealed a place in Chinas Olympic history with an impressive swim

in the 400m freestyle final that was only 0.07 seconds off the world record to

Defending Olympic champion Park Ta-Hwan was leading at the final turn, but

the 20-year-old Sun surged past his South Korean rival in the final length to
