伴着新年的喜气，踩着兔年的节拍，春节的烟花爆竹声还回响在耳边，我们已正式迎来了新的学期。首先，我给大家送上新年的祝福，祝同学们在新的学期里身体健康、学习进步！

过去的一年，我们在八（2）班这个温暖大家庭里互助互爱、努力奋斗，经历风雨和阳光，我们不分彼此，团结上进，共同成长。追求卓越、勇争一流，我们中的很多人取得了辉煌的成绩：年级十佳、年级进步之星、三好学生、各项单项之星等；团员的队伍也在不断的壮大，这些都见证了同学们的成长和进步。

成绩都已成了过去，明天太阳又是新的。我们已迎来了一个更加光辉灿烂、更加充满希望、更具有挑战性的、崭新的2011。我相你们会有足够的能力去克服任何困难，打好你们人生的坚实基础，你们一定能交出满意的人生答卷，让每个教育你、关心你、爱护你的人为你们感到骄傲和自豪！这一年、这一学期，我们有很多共同的梦想、共同的期待。

作为老师，在自豪的同时，我也想告诉大家：学习是一种以勤为阶梯的攀登，学习是一种以苦作舟的远航，只有肯吃苦、勤思考、善钻研的同学，才能到达成功的彼岸。学习中会有成功的喜悦，也会有失败的苦恼，只有不断的付出才能收获成功。俗话说：“良好的开端等于成功的一半。”新学期开学了，我相信同学们一定会满怀信心走向成功。怎样争取有一个良好的开端呢？在这里，我向同学们提议：

第一，树立一个信心：我能我行。自信心对我们的学习很重要。我们读书学习，需要有决心、有信心、有行动。在这儿要送大家三句话：“相信自己，我能成功！鼓励自己，天天成功！超越自己，一定成功！”

第二，创立一种学风：认真刻苦。凡事从“认真”开始，认认真真地读书，认认真真地上课，认认真真地做作业。学业成功的过程离不开勤奋和刻苦。“书山有路勤为径，学海无崖苦作舟”，“宝剑锋从磨砺出，梅花香自苦寒来”这些格言说的都是这个道理。

第三，培养一个习惯：自觉自愿。学业进步，贵在自觉。同学们要在老师的指引下，培养自己良好的学习习惯、行为习惯和生活习惯。国有国法，家有家规，我们学校同样有一些规矩和要求。同学们要自觉自愿遵守中学生守则和学校的规章制度，自觉养成良好的学习习惯和生活习惯。

最后送大家几句话：播种一个信念，收获一个行动；播种一个行动，收获一个习惯；播种一个习惯，收获一个性格；播种一个性格，收获一个命运。让我们同心同德，协手并肩，耕耘信念，耕耘希望，耕耘热情，耕耘活力，耕耘爱心，耕耘顽强……我们坚信：八（2）班定然会走向胜利，走向辉煌！

Today, our classes in the summer holidays have finished. And tomorrow, we’ll have a rest. But the day after tomorrow, we’ll go to school again.

I still remember that on holidays, I was always expecting to go to school, and I always felt unforgettable because I have nothing to do everyday. But now, the most special year is coming, all the schoolmates in my age have got ready for the coming term, so have I.

Today , Ah Wei told us that about one or two weeks later, we’ll have an examination to choose some good students in English to take part in the English Olympic competition. I am full of confidents.

The best wish for myself is that I can pass the exam successful.
