我妈妈做事追求完美。有一次，她给全家准备晚餐，为了让家人换换口味，她决定做一道她从没做过的菜。那时，我都闻见了炒菜的香味，我进了厨房，看见她正在认真拿起铲子不停地在锅里翻搅着，时而还往锅里放一点调料。美味的菜终于做好了，妈妈把菜盛到了盘子里，我迫不及待的拿起筷子尝了一口，她用期待的眼神注视着我，等待着我的评价。我卖着关子说：“哦，好烫，不过……美味至极！”妈妈听到开心极了！可是紧接着我听到妈妈嘴里还嘟囔：“唉，第一次做没什么经验，应该再多放点面粉就完美了。”我心里很疑惑：明明已经这么好吃了，她为什么还要说做不够完美呢？我心里想：看来她还真是一个做事追求完美的人啊！

妈妈还是个爱运动的人。夏天的时候，她天天晚上到唐延路公园去跑步，有时晚上没时间，就早上5点起来坚持跑步。记得有一天早上，她很困，不想去跑步了，“妈妈，既然你要跑步，那就要坚持下来，不能半途而废啊！”我起床了，对妈妈建议，“就像你跟我说的一样，实在不行我和你一起跑。”就这样，我们出发了。由于妈妈天天坚持跑步，因此，在西安举行马拉松比赛时，她还报了一个4.5公里的迷你马拉松比赛，可遗憾的是因为公司活动要去外地，而且不能请假，最后只能弃赛了。

虽然妈妈工作很忙，但是我知道她这样是为了我，我喜欢我的妈妈！
