Almost everybody loves music, because music has its power. It can brings

joy to people when they feel upset. As for me, when I am not happy, I will turn

up the music in my bedroom, singing loudly and shaking my body. As Im immersed

in the music world, I will forget the annoyance and become active again. Music

also brings me the happy memories. Some songs have special meaning for me.

Whenever I hear them, the happy memories will appear in my mind. I feel life is

such wonderful for me. Music is the most beautiful language in the world. It

touches everybodys heart with beautiful rhythm.

Yesterday was my birthday. I am twelve years old now and a primary school

student in Grade six. Yesterday, I invited my friends come to my home. I did not

invite them come to my home before. I was so happy because my mother cooked

delicious foods for us. My friends brought gifts to my. They are very beautiful.

It was a good day yesterday.

Family comes first of course. You should wake up a little earlier in the

morning, and help your mother in the kitchen. On the Lantern Festival, making

rice balls and dumplings are the traditional activities. Having a reunion dinner

with the whole family is also very important, so you need to show up and stay

with your family for the whole morning. Spend some time with your family. Keep

them company and make them happy. In the afternoon, there are maybe not so busy,

you can plan for the Valentine’s Day with your girlfriend or boyfriend, you can

have some snacks in 4p.m, and tell your parents you will hang out with your

friends at night and not having supper at home tonight. They would be

understood. Then you can take your girlfriend or boyfriend to a nice restaurant

and see the latest movie after dinner. Do not forget to present the gift you

prepare for your lover. Make your lover happy, too.

I think everybody should find a balance between family love and lover’s

love. If I can only choose one, I will choose family love over the other.

Because I know my family never leaves me and my parents are aging. How many days

can I still be with them? So I really appreciate the days that I can still be

My Grandpa and me

In this old photo, It’s my grandfather and me. My mum took it for us ten years ago. The tall and strong man in the photo was my grandpa. He had black hair, blue eyes, big nose and a big mouth. He was a teacher when he was young. At that time, he was very kind，honest and hardworking. His pupil always said he was a good teacher. Now he is retired. Beside my grandpa was me. cockroaches are the insects that frighten me the most. i wasnt afraid of them before, but now i cant stand them. it started when i was sleeping one day and smelled a disgusting odor. i discovered a dead cockroach under my body and its eggs on my pillow! i almost died! i jumped off my bed at once and took a bath quickly. the eperience made me hate cockroaches. what i find most disgusting is when i see a cockroach fly around the room. im always afraid that they m1ght land on me. hearing the sound of its wings makes me nervous and afraid. cockroaches pose a threat to our daily lives. a dirty environment will attract many cockroaches and this may threaten our health. they pollute food and water and bring many illnesses, such as dysentery and skin diseases. i cant help shivering at the sight of them.
