小猴子从远处跑了，稻草人已经不抱希望了，所以它没有开口。小猴子看见稻草人歪歪扭扭的，小猴子心想：稻草人应该很难受吧，让我来帮帮它。它就把稻草人插得像一棵松树一样比直。稻草人非常吃惊，心里也很感谢小猴子，想对小猴说谢谢的时候，小猴子已经高兴地走了。
