有那么一次，她帮助了我，而且让我有点感动。晚上，自修完回宿舍休息。刚回到宿舍，我这个总是丢三落四的人才发现，把开柜子的钥匙落在课室了。我就心想：糟了，糟了。我的被子还在柜子里呢！现在没钥匙，怎么办好呢？而且今晚又这么冷，难道今晚不盖被子吗？我立刻跑去告诉老师，老师也很担心，就叫我赶快回课室拿钥匙。然后我就问班长拿钥匙，因为黑漆漆的，我害怕，不敢一个人回去。我就连续问了几个同宿舍的舍友能不能陪我一起回一趟课室，结果很让我失望，没有一个愿意跟我一起去。但令我惊讶的是，有一个肯跟我一起回去，但她跟我有一点点矛盾，如果和她一起的话会有一点尴尬，但没办法，在这种情况下，只有她愿意。我在情急之下，就说好。因为宿舍很快就会打铃了，我要尽快。

走到楼下，她就牵着我的手，一路上飞快地跑回课室。赶快拿到钥匙，然后就又飞快地跑回宿舍。她仍然牵着我的手，没有放开过。到了宿舍，她微笑着对我说：“好好休息，快上床睡觉吧。”我以为我和她吵完架之后，关系肯定会有些不那么好的，碰到面肯定会特意给脸色你看的，结果没有。我发现我自己想错了，她不会是那种很斤斤计较的人。

第二天早上，我们就和好如初了。

因为这次，我意识到，朋友，不是那些虚情假意的人；朋友，不是那些在你需要帮助时说没空的人；朋友，不是那些表面跟你好，背后却想害你的人；而那些默默无闻，真心对你好的人，才是真正的朋友。她就是我的好朋友——小梓。

we often focus on building relationships with others that we forget the essential first step: being friends of ourselves. that is the crucial first step if we are to have good relationships with others. how can we have good relationships with others if we dont even have good relationship with ourselves?

the problem might be worse than we expect. maybe we dont like ourselves without realizing it. here is a simple checklist; is there anything you dont like about yourself from these list?

your past

maybe you have made mistakes in the past which you feel bad about. you might be disappointed with yourself on why you could make such mistakes. even if that happened in distant past, your subconscious mind still has a reason not to like yourself.

your background

you might wish that you were born in different family, or that you have different background. maybe you could not accept the fact that you are not as lucky as others, who seem to get whatever they want effortlessly because of their background.

your personality traits

you might have some personality traits that you dont like. for example, you may be an introvert and you dont like it; you wish you are an extrovert.

in this chapter of the novel，jane met her new friend-helen。what helen said really impressed me a lot，driving me think deeply。

life is too short to hate other people。we all have faults，but when we die，only the pure flame of the spirt will be left。thats why i never think of revenge，i never consider life unfair。i live in calm，looking forward to the end。
