In modern society, the problem of heavy traffic has aroused a wide concern.

Concerning with this problem, different people hold different opinions. As far

as I am concerned, to solve this problem, we need to begin with the following

steps.

First, limiting the number of private cars is a significant step to solve

the problem of heavy traffic. Private car occupies a larger space and it is

responsible for traffic jam to a large extent. Less private cars will accelerate

the flow of traffic. Second, it is also a good means to open up the special

roads for buses. By doing this, the phenomenon that the buses block the street

when passengers get on or get off the buses will not occur again. At the same

time, it will upgrade the efficiency of buses. Finally, reinforcing punish

toward the over-speed cars and drunk driving so as to reduce the rate of traffic

accident, and then decrease traffic jam.

To put it in a nutshell, only we put the above advice into practice

together can we solve the problem of heavy traffic.

Stepping into the new century, environment pollution has become more

serious than ever since. There are different kinds of pollution. Such as, water

pollution, air pollution and noise pollution and so on. It seems that we live on

a planet which is full of pollution. Where all these pollution comes from? To a

large extend, the environmental destruction is the heavy price that we pay for

the rapid development of economy and the growing population. In order to have

more fuel, people cut down trees and dig more corals. But the growing needs for

energy are hardly to meet. Countless private cars on the street, the gas

stations are short of gasoline, even the government has raise the price so many

times in order to control the needs of gasoline, but it’s still not working.

Overusing the natural resources has already affected the ecological balance.

However, the factories still release the toxic air into the sky and the polluted

water into the rivers. People still lack of the conscious of protecting the

environment. I think it’s time for all of us to do something.

The government should put forward some more strict laws to prevent the

environment from being further polluted. And they should let people know more

about the importance of environment protection. And we should find the balance

between the economic growth and environmental protection. Plant more trees in

the deserts and stop cutting down the forest. Forbid the factories to pour the

waste water into the rivers directly. Encourage people to use public

transportations to work. Both government and ordinary people should join hands

together to make our home clean and fresh again. Only in this way, our earth

could be a better place to live in.

The longing summer vacation is approaching, it is the best part of the

school year for me. I cannot let the holidays elapse (逝去) meaninglessly, my

vacation should be a phase (时期、阶段) of harvest. The events in my plan should give

me a sense of infinite potential.

The following plan may reveal the intensity of my desire to travel, work

and study in this vacation. In the first few days I want to climb Mount Hua Shan

with several friends to refresh ourselves. Then I tend to visit relatives,

时光像流水一样，在我们身边悄然走过。是的，光阴似箭，日月如梭，左顾右盼的暑假终于到了，我像关在笼子里的鸟在外面自由自在地飞翔。在这个暑假里我们是暑假的主人，我们可以放松自己。

而我呢，我们不可能在这个暑假里一无所获，每天游山玩水。我们的家长保证会让我们上补习班，每天上这上那，爸爸妈妈在这骄阳似火的夏天送我们。当然我们不能辜负老师和爸爸妈妈的期望，让这个暑假过得又充实又愉快。在暑假里给自己“加油”。

暑假的一开始，我就订了暑假计划：每天早上7点30分开始做，每天做三天《暑假作业本》里的作业，接着复习音标，听音标，默音标，再写一篇英语作文，最后背成语，默成语。不过也要复习复习以前学过的内容，俗话说的好：温故而知新”嘛。

让我们这个暑假过得美好,充实，愉快吧。

“一双粗糙的像老树皮的手托着一个苹果递给了我…。。”这个场面有浮现在了我眼前。我的童年生活在我脑海早已变得模糊不清了，但有一件事，我终生难以忘记。

那是2002年的一个春天，我和妈妈坐在门前晒太阳，一位身着军绿色棉袄的乞讨老人出现在了我们面前，他的手粗糙的像老树皮，裂开了一道道口子，手心上磨出了几个厚厚的老茧;流水般的岁月无情地在他那绛紫色的脸上刻下了一道道深深的皱纹，只有那双眼睛依旧是那么有神，尽管眼角布满了密密的鱼尾纹……他拿出一个铁碗，双手捧着，想我们乞讨，我见他可怜，就把我身上的一元钱给来他，他接过去，夸我是一个善良的孩子，他从口袋里用那粗糙的像老树皮的手拿出来了一个苹果递给了我，我摇摇头说：“不用了，我不吃苹果。”老人见我不吃，于是转过身摇摇晃晃地走了出去…。。我望着那瘦弱的背影，心里一阵心酸。

过来几天，我又看见了那位老人，他正去一位年轻的小伙子那里乞讨，那小伙子瞪了老人一眼，骂了一句：“坏人!”就关上门。只见那老汉含着泪水走了。我有一阵心酸，老人每天乞讨是多么的艰辛，有可能面临着受到侮辱和驱逐的风险，可他却把辛辛苦苦攒下的一个苹果给来我，真是让我感动不已!

这件事深深地感动了我，使我明白了：我们要多帮助社会上那些贫困的人，这样的话时间就会更加美好、和谐!

宇宙中的一切是多么的有趣呀!每种东西之间，都有着密切的关联，如果一种生物遭到破坏，那么另一种生物也会因此遭到破坏。那我们就拿人们熟知的金钱来说吧。

许多的人都崇尚金钱，以为有了金钱就等于有了一切。为了金钱，人们可以出卖自己的工作;为了金钱，人们可以出卖自己的爱情;为了金钱，人们甚至可以出卖自己的身体，出卖自己的灵魂。在这些人的心目中，只有一个字：钱，只有一句话：有钱能使鬼推磨!我想问一问，钱真的有那么重要吗?如果你没有一个健康的身体，你挣再多的钱又有什么用呢?如果你的身体非常健康，那么你们在精神上，已经有了一笔极大的财富了。不妨，我就跟大家讲一个故事吧。

从前，有一个人，名叫严监生，他是一个非常有钱的人，但他很吝啬，为了钱，不顾自己的身体，后来，他得了重病，但他还是不愿意花一分钱去治。他的诸亲六眷都来问候。五个侄子穿梭的过来陪郎中弄药。到中秋已后，医家都不下药了，把管庄的家人都从乡里叫了上来。病重得一连三天不能说话。晚间挤了一屋的人，桌上点着一盏灯。严监生喉咙里痰响得一进一出，一声不倒一声的，总不得断气，还把手从被单里拿出来，伸着两个指头。大侄子走上前来问道：“二叔，你莫不是还有两个亲人不曾见面?”他就把头摇了两三摇。二侄子走上前来问道：“二叔，莫不是还有两笔银子在那里，不曾吩咐明白?”他把两眼睁的溜圆，把头又狠狠摇了几摇，越发指得紧了。奶妈抱着哥子插口道：“老爷想是因两位舅爷不在眼前，故此记念。”他听了这话，把眼闭着摇头，那手只是指着不动。赵氏慌忙揩揩眼泪，走近上前道：“爷，别人说的都不相干，只有我晓得你的意思!你是为那灯盏里点的是两茎灯草，不放心，恐费了油。我如今挑掉一茎就是了。”说罢，忙走去挑掉一茎。众人看严监生时，点一点头，把手垂下，登时就没了气。

通过这个故事，那些爱财如命的人是否有所感悟呢?不管什么，自己的生命才是最重要的，要健健康康的过每一天!
