We know it is difficult to learn English. My English is very good. I learn English like this.

I Listen to the teacher carefully and write the important points down on my notebooks. After class I revise the lessons. Before class I prepare new lessons to find out the questions. Then I will listen carefully in class.

My father used to be a heavy somker.He smoked more than 20 cigarets each

day;therefore,he was the polluter wherever he went.My mother and I tried to

persuade him to give it up.He gave it up many times but each time only for a few

days or only for a few hours.

Once he declared that he would stop smoking right away under the pressure

of my mother,and he threw his cigarets into the dustbin.The effect of his

declaration lasted only for two days.Then I found him smoking again when he

Last winter he got pneumonia.When he was well again,the doctor ordered him

In the past, we just took it for granted that a teacher s aim was to teach the students all that he knew and solve all the problems for them. Therefore, students could mot judge things on their own under this circumstance. Thus students gradually lost the ability to learn by themselves. In addition, they were only equipped with the knowledge that were taught in class and made the same judgement upon every problem which might crop up. Of course, they would find their knowledge not enough to solve practical problems.

So it is time to change the teaching method. A teacher s goal is to help the students develop not only the ability to learn by themselves but the skills to make judgements on every aspect on their own. It s not necessary for the students to turn to teachers for help while meeting with difficulties. The first thing is to develop the students abilities to make sound judgements upon any problem and overcome difficulties.

studied panda in the early 1980s went to the wild life and kept trace of wild

giant panda for many years. As a result, he found that it was human being that

made these lovely animals die out. At that time, many people believed that giant

panda became less because of the low rate of newborn babies. But it was not

true. People cut trees for making profit at that time. Panda lose homeland and

they lacked of food. Thanks to these valuable data, the government took the

policy to protect the animals. So today, the number of giant panda is

increasing. People realize the importance of protecting the environment and it

is the best way to protect wild animals, they are the indispensable part of the

nature.

Elephant is the largest animal on land today. It weights some ninety kilograms and is about one metre high when born. When it is 12 years old, it studs over three meters and does not grow any more. 寒假的时候，爸爸妈妈带我去德化，参观兰老师的工作室。一进工作室，我就被一件件精美的陶瓷雕像吸引了。我认真观察，发现这些陶瓷作品非常光滑，细腻。于是大着胆子问：“兰老师，我也想试试制陶，可以吗?”“哈哈，当然可以了，我教你做一个水杯吧。”

听完兰老师介绍制作过程，我就迫不及待地坐到制陶器前，拿出陶泥开始用力摔打。陶泥很硬，在爸爸的帮忙下才把陶泥摔软了。第二步就变难了，我控制不了制陶台的旋转速度，差点把整团陶泥甩了出去。在兰老师帮助下固定了速度，我才战战兢兢的将陶泥转成了圆柱体，然后用大拇指打了一个洞。

关键的拉胚到了，可是我看着这团陶泥真的不知如何下手，我试着慢慢将瓶壁向外拉，可是一用力，发现瓶壁就歪了，一会儿瓶壁就破了，于是只好再次从头开始做了。试了几次都没有成功，几乎都要放弃了。兰老师在旁边指着一件雕塑说：“这是一件很有创新的实心雕塑。我花了整整两年的时间，不断的试验，不断的尝试，不断的失败，才烧制成功。”我知道，兰老师要我坚持下去，才能成功。我要紧牙关，重新开始拉胚，最后在妈妈的帮助下，我们终于勉强拉出了一个花瓶样子。

终于到了收口。我收了几次，都是东倒西歪，不禁有些泄气。我抬头看到兰老师在旁边微笑着注视着我，忽然我灵机一动，

用捏橡皮泥的方法轻轻地收口，慢慢地，几次失败之后，终于勉强收得有些园了，像一个花瓶样子。看着自己完成的丑丑的花瓶，再看看墙上摆着的精美陶瓷，我深深体会到：有些事并不是表面看起来那么简单，它需要坚持不懈的精神，更需要不断创新的勇气。

说到这，我想到了家乡的小河。昔日，河岸边绿树如荫，绿禾如海。可是现在，人们为了盖房子，砍走了河岸上的树木，拉光了河岸的泥土，挖空了河坎。于是，雨季一到，泛滥的河水淹没了小河两岸翠绿的庄稼，小河在呜咽，绿色在叹息。人们，这不是在自戕生命吗?
