I am highly disappointed in the proposed 2004-05 budget cuts to educa1ion. Taking away basic aid status and slashing our school budgets is a recipe for educational disaster in our school. The future lies with our children. They must have access to high quality educa1ion.

My husband and I have worked hard to be able to live in a school district that provides high quality education for our children. Cutting funding in districts like ours will have a negative impact on property values.

The school that my daughter attends is hardly wha1 I would describe as a "rich" school. Parents are asked to pay for books for all the classes, science supplies and for their students to participate in the performing arts among other items. If our school is to remain a world leader in technological development, cutting our school funds is the worst possible choice to make.

Education funds should not be diverted away from education.

四月春意盎然，趁这大好春光，我校举行了第十二届“萌芽杯”篮球赛，秉着“友谊第一，比赛第二”的原则，与同年级的各班一起拼搏，不论输赢，不论结果，只为享受过程，赛出风格。

在历时五天的“萌芽杯”篮球比赛中。我最无法忘怀的就是我们92班女生与89班的比拼，在那一场，我们打了三个加时赛，无论是哪班的队员，都在赛场上洒下了辛勤的汗水，她们的拼搏精神让在场的所有人都为之赞叹，毅力和耐力都在此刻展现的淋漓尽致，团队之间也配合的天衣无缝，正所谓“世上无难事，只要肯登攀”，一旦我们奋发拼搏，所有的难关便会不攻自破。

那是一个烈日当空的下午，太阳散发出它所有的热量炙烤着大地，这场无与伦比的赛事也在此刻开始。随着裁判的一声哨响，各班队员各派上一名代表决定率先发球权，场上没有一个人的眼睛不盯着篮球，观众的心也跟着紧张起来。球从裁判的手上飞起，运动员们也双脚离地，“啪！”球被我们班抢到了，只见我班主力队员陆若青霸气地将手一挥，那备受所有人瞩目的篮球便转身落到了身手敏捷的秦雨笛手里，她熟练的拍打着球，我们大家都对她充满了希望，眼看胜券在握，可那篮球就像打了兴奋剂一样，在篮筐边不停的徘徊，就是不进篮筐。这可给了对方一个可趁之机，他们飞奔过来，夺走了球，快速移动到了另一端的篮球架下，我班人员奋力追捕，紧随其后，热血小将徐玉涵也猛然发力，纵身一跃，将手一压，转身就向我班应投篮框跑去，她绕过对方的重重阻挡，稳稳的把球传到了在篮球架下等待的王梓琳手中，只见她将手一举，一挥，球进啦！全场响起暴风雨般的掌声，纷纷为他们加油鼓劲，给予他们精神上的支持。

到后来，对方班级也不甘落后，甩入了一个空心球，两班实力相当，不分伯仲，直到最后一节加时赛，所有人的体力都已消耗殆尽，在这一刻，我们拼的就是各自的耐力与毅力了，每一位队员都满头大汗，可他们毫不退缩，一点儿也没有放弃的意思，即使摔倒在了赛场上，也马上爬起，无论是哪个班的队员，都共同在此拼搏，一个个如饿虎扑食，渴望抢到篮球，两位身着不同颜色队服的队员同时跃起，激动人心的时刻再一次来临，篮球落到了我班队员陆若青的手里，她如一只燕子，纵身一跃，投进了这个关键性的一球，最终险胜。

八月五号，我怀着既激动又紧张的心情来到了成都市信息工程学院体育馆参加成都市跆拳道的比赛。

我们进了体育馆，看台上坐满了观众，人声鼎佛，拉拉队高喊着：“加油！加油！”真是热闹非凡的。我看见了体育馆里有四个比赛场地同时进行着比赛，还可以看见电子计分器显示着运动员的成绩。我的几个队友在比赛中，他们都取得了很好的成绩。

马上就要该我了，按照跆拳道的比赛要求，首先要称体重，我参加的是23公斤至25公斤级的比赛，我的体重符合要求。我穿上护具，经过检录，我进入了比赛场地。比赛开始了，我的对手是一个比我的级别高的蓝带，但是我并不怕他。我找准了机会，一个双飞领先得了两分，我听见了我的教练在我身后鼓掌。我的对手也不示弱，他冲上来踢我，我左挡右挡，我们拼搏的十分激烈，上半场结束时，我是二比一领先。下半场开始了，我们都防御的很紧，没想到在最后几秒，对手来了一个后转踢抢走了两分，最后我还是输了这次比赛。我遗憾的离开了比赛场。

intangible cultural heritages. As a country consisting of a great diversity of

ethnic groups and with time-honored history and civilization, China abounds in

intangible cultural heritages. Cultural heritages connect modern people with the

historical past, allowing them to acquire a cultural and historical identity.

Without cultural heritages, we would be rendered absolutely rootless and we

would find it hard to cope with challenges at present and in the future.

However, the modernization process poses mounting threats to intangible

heritages. Many people have a blind faith in the latest electronic devices. It

is also pathetic to see elderly people in possession of such legacies pass away

without transmitting them to the younger generation. Faced with those

challenges, we should both preserve and renovate our ancestral heritages so that

we can help contribute to the cultural diversity of the world and return to our

spiritual homeland in this age of impersonal science and technology.

第二回合开始了，我方拉拉队欢呼着，对方的拉拉队也欢呼着。比赛时，我发现六班的大胖子没有来，而我们班的赵加越同学，却使出了吃奶的力气，脸涨得通红，头上渗出了汗水，眼看红点慢慢向我们移来，这时，六班的大胖子来了，说：“看到了吧，没有我们你们就赢不了。”说着，得意洋洋的走了。红点就快要到了，只见老师说停，我们放下手里的绳子，这局，我们胜利了。我们欢呼着。老师又说：“因为六班有人来乱说话，所以扣了一分，二班加一分，这次我们以二比零的分数赢了。”

通过拔河比赛，让我知道了一个道理：只要努力，不放弃，什么事都能做成。

星期一，我第一天来到校园，校园里的花花朵朵开的鲜艳无比，我轻轻的吹动一下花叶，花儿的头摇了摇，好像在和我说：你早啊同学!

这时早自习的铃声打响了，老师走上讲台第一件事就说：告诉各位同学一个好消息今天全校举行拔河比赛项目，谁愿意报名参加呀!?我第一个踊跃举手报名，同学们也都推荐我参加比赛。到了比赛的时候，我怀着无比激动的心情来到了比赛现场，我拿起比赛的那根绳子，与一起参赛的伙伴们研究好距离和步伐，比赛开始，大家协调一致都很认真用力地拔着，拉拉队的同学们为我们呐喊：‘三年一加油!加油!就在这时，我脚下一滑摔倒在地，上半场比赛我们失败了输给了对方。

懊恼的我低着头，还担心大家会怨我，但是大家没有埋怨我还鼓励了我，并且在下半场比赛前，伙伴们一起仔细分析了一下失败的经验，班长为我想出个好办法，让我把那个绳子在手上多套几个圈加固，然后一起使劲，一定会成功，我们都相信你郑婷文，有了伙伴们的信任与鼓励我充满了力量。裁判公布下半场拔河比赛开始，我们三年一班的伙伴们一鼓作气势如虎，最后取得了胜利。

这次拔河比赛让我体会到做什么事情都要有信心，要有细心，要有决心。

记得是上幼儿园大班的时候，我参加过一次拔河比赛。

一共是两队人，我被分配在第一队。虽然我力气不是很大，但还是有用处的。

比赛开始了!可能是我的个子太小了，对方竟然没看到我，就有些放松了。虽然我们这一队全是小个子，小力气，但我觉得只要团结就一定能胜出。现场的情形非常不妙，两队人都快累死了，但还是不分胜负，都觉得自己这队一定要胜出，所以就这样停留了几分钟，谁也不放手。最后两队人用尽了全部力气一拉，打平啦!这时老师说：“这是我们最希望看到的结果。”

这下，大家才有的喝水，有的坐下来休息……反正都累死了。

后来，拔河就成了我们最喜欢的游戏。

My teacher is very strict, also is very nice. Because of the strict teacher, let we learned to strict with myself. Because of the teachers kindness, let us feel warm, let the knowledge we learned several not over.

My teacher looks very strict, but very kind at heart, she kind of eternity like waves, will not change. As bright as the sun, her eyes filled with wisdom, laugh very natural, very nice. Her mind is the source of wisdom, ask the teacher shell answer out wonderful answer, led we came to the sea of knowledge, with the wisdom of key to open the doors of magic, share knowledge, discuss problems together.

I have a party on my eleven birthday, many friends give me the present. There is a doll, a pen, a music box, a notebook, a book and a flower. My faverite present is the flower. The flower is very beautiful. Its colour is red. I like to smell it. I put it in a bottle of water. My mother says it is a rose. I can plant it in the pot. I water the flower everyday. I wish it can be beautiful forever.
