现如今我已经五年级了，我看的书更多了，《三国演义》、《水浒传》、《红楼梦》、《西游记》、《我的童年》、《爱的教育》、《城南旧事》等。

我从书中学到了许许多多课文中学不到的知识，并知道了作文应该怎么写，还了解到了一些古今中外的名人名言，所以我要多读书，在不久的将来，做一个人人皆的人。

“书是人类进步的阶梯。”多么妙的一句话呀。一本好书，就是一轮太阳，照亮我们前进的方向，点亮我们的人生。

刚入学的时候，我学会了拼音，就去翻阅《一千零一夜》、《安徒生童话》、《快乐王子》等童话书。那时候，我被“快乐王子”的行为所感动，为“白雪公主”、“灰姑娘”感到高兴……

到了三年级，在老师和同学们的推荐下，我读了高尔基写的《童年。在人间。我的大学》、《鲁滨孙漂流记》等名著。《童年。在人间。我的大学》主人公阿廖沙凭着他的坚强意志和斗争精神长大成人。而《鲁滨孙漂流记》则写了鲁滨孙·克罗嗦厌倦了英国恬静的生活，下定决心成为一名海员，周游世界……而这些书也给我无穷的乐趣和人生的道理，让我明白要一步一个脚印向前。

我看书的经历，也是一段很长的事情。

我四岁的时候，妈妈给我买过一本拼音识字本，刚买回来的时候，我并没有很喜欢，可是觉得看的越来越有意思了，可是看了几天，就看的不耐烦了，再也不想看了。

渐渐地，我就抽时间去图书馆里读书，如果时间不够，我就借回家来看，我还看了《两个小八路》、《找红军》、《小铁道游击队》等抗日小英雄的故事，我要向《两个小八路》里的武建华学习，他们和我同岁，但是他们却比我更坚强、勇敢，他们在敌人面前不服输，不泄露八路军的秘密，我非常敬佩他们。

在学校的图书馆里，我还阅读了《三个小女巫》，这本书告诉我们，正义永远打败邪恶……

读书，让我的生活充满了快乐!我爱读书!

回想起放暑假时和堂妹在被窝里窃读的情景，我就禁不住涌起愉悦之情。我的读书经历是充满了担忧和快乐的滋味的！

那是暑假的一个早上，堂妹到我家里来玩。我们做好当天的作业，堂妹拿出一本书，小声对我说：“姐姐，我最进看了一本十分有趣的课外书，你要看吗？""一听这个，我的精神一下子提高了许多，我最爱阅读了，急忙答应了。我又提议今晚在被窝里“窃读"’，堂妹高兴地点了点头，会心地笑了。

晚上八点半，“窃读”开始了。我们把准备好的手电筒和书拿了出来，小心翼翼地关掉灯，装模作样地睡了起来，大人来查看，见我们熟睡的样子，就离开了，他们前脚刚走，我和堂妹就迫不及待的用被子蒙住头，打开手电筒，津津有味地看了起来，我们这窃读的滋味可不是这么好受的，还得时不时地探出头来，看看有没有人来。突然，我隐隐约约听见了脚步声，坏了，肯定是父母来了。我们迅速把书藏好，关掉电筒，装睡！啊，好险，终于躲过这一关了。快，加油。还有最后一点就读完了。这下，我和堂妹以最快的速度把书看完了。我们会心的一笑，收拾好东西，便马上睡了起来。这次的窃读真是有惊无险啊！

习作虽短，但很有童趣。

书，是个好东西，但是，你不去读你就不会享受到它里面的好东西，只要你认真去读、认真去体会你就会品尝到书的魅力。高尔基曾经说过：“书是人类进步的阶梯。”

以前，每当我去超市的时候我不懂那些是什么东西，更不用说计算那些商品的价格了;小时候说话都不懂得用各种修辞手法来描述一样东西，更不会讲普通话，或许会说那也只是会说一两句而已，而且说得不准，就只会说闽南话。但是，通过我读书、学习，我懂了怎么计算面积、小数、周长……语文水平也提高了许多，我现在懂得认字了，也会用各种修辞方法来描述一样东西，作文也提高了许多，不像以前那个咿呀学语的我。我不单是语文、数学提高了，就连音乐、美术、科学、品德也提高了许多。人们常说：“读书破万卷，下笔如有神”以前，我并不喜欢看书，所以，写起作文来总是冥思苦想的，就像在挤牙膏似的，挤了半天也没有挤出什么好东西来，怪不得写起作文来总是磨磨蹭蹭、拖拖拉拉的。于是，我发誓我要养成经常看书的习惯。

An unforgettable experience

My mom used to say that I was born to swim. But the truth is that I didn t know how to swim until the last year of my primary school!

Mom always said that I could swim in the basin when I was only two months old. I was surprised at the amazing fact. If this was true, then why was I afraid of water? I went to swim every summer, but I didn t make a little progress. I was worried and blamed myself several times. When I watched people swimming freely, how I wished I had learnt to swim!

The story of how I learnt to swim is dramatic. One hot summer afternoon, my father and I went to the swimming pool to swim. While my father was changing his clothes, I was roaming along the bank of the pool. Suddenly I heard a voice, Look out! and then came a big noise and beautiful splashes. Just when I was admiring the swimmer s skills, I slipped into the pool! I was so afraid that I shouted at once! But the water kept coming towards me and I drank a lot of it. I was moving upside down and trying to reach the bank. I was struggling very hard to keep my head above the water.

A minute was like a hundred years to me. To my surprise, I was able to keep the style! Just then, my father, saw me and he seemed to be shocked. He then said, Calm down, just wave your arms and legs like this. Right! And I got it! I finally learnt to swim! You can t imagine how happy I was and I wanted to jump for joy!
