我从幼儿园就读书了。

我大概也算是出生在“书香门第”吧！因为打我记事以来，家里的书柜里，桌子上、茶几上、甚至凳子上，随处可见的大都是书，因此妈妈常抱怨家里太“凌乱”。

在这样的环境里，想不认识字都难。于是，三、四岁，我就认识了不少字。看图识字、幼儿读物、还有爸爸、妈妈经常给我讲的那些故事书上的故事，成了我幼年时代的精神粮食。

稍稍懂事了，我把爸爸的书翻了个遍，虽然不少是爸爸教书用的，我还是饶有兴趣地东翻翻、西看看，以至于爸爸找不到书的时候还是我帮他找到的。

幼儿时候，我最喜欢那些彩页的童话故事，它们把我带进了一个个生动的童话世界。好几套童话故事书几乎都让我翻烂了，那些五彩绚丽的故事似乎印在了我的脑海里，终身忘不了了。

上小学了，语文老师很惊讶我的语言理解能力。我的作文常被老师当作范文在班上念，同学们羡慕地问我，“陈玥，你的语文为什么这么棒？”我也毫不卖关子地告诉他们——多读书呗！

有书读是福气，我爸爸曾告诉我他小时候的理想就是想当书店里的营业员，他们那个年代，书很少，好书就更少。好不容易买到或借到一本书，常常是爱不释手，挑灯夜战——难怪他眼睛近视。他很爱惜书，小时候看过的书不少仍然保留着。

读古今书籍犹如欣赏美丽的画卷，历史上叱咤风云的人物缤纷无限，中外新奇事物琳琅满目。徜徉在书的海洋，朝可拜谒孔子，暮可走访太白；夏可观十里荷花，秋可赏三秋桂子；意在北可驰骋塞外草原，心向南可流连江南雨巷……在书中能让你发现一个又一个神奇：随“突尼斯”骑鹅旅行，和多萝茜寻访《绿野仙踪》；“嫦娥奔月”让我们有了探月计划，《海里两万里》的科幻让人类遨游湛蓝的海洋……有书可读实在是人生一件乐事！

我渴望通过“书籍”这座桥梁与智者交流，打开通往世界之窗。在浩如烟海的书籍里，我恨不得多长一双眼睛——咳，那不成了“四眼狗”了吗？——噢！这句话犯忌，对老爸不尊重，删去！

那时，我刚刚懂点事，姐姐正在津津有味地读书，我走过去，说：“姐姐，你在干嘛，能跟我玩会儿游戏吗？”“不能，我在看书。”姐姐说。我问：“什么书，我也要看，我也要看！”姐姐笑着说：“你看不懂。不过，这本《安徒生童话》你先拿去看一看吧。”“好呀！谢谢姐姐。”我说着，从姐姐手中拿过书，跑到床上，开始读着。

一看到书的封面，我便呆住了：上面有很多动画片的角色，真好，真吸引人！于是我迫不及待地看了起来，可我看不懂，很多字不认识，这该怎么办呀？这时，妈妈走进来，看到我在读书，于是说：“思成，这书你肯定看不懂，妈妈念给你听，好吗？”“好呀，我正愁怎么读下去呢！”我说。就这样，妈妈每天晚上都讲给我听。就这样，一本书便被妈妈讲完了。为了能让妈妈天天给我讲故事，我们就去书店买回几本童话书。直到我上了小学才不讲了，因为那时我自己会读书了。

书是人类进步的阶梯，书是人类知识的海洋，我对书那是如痴如醉。比方说因为看书我忘了睡觉了。

记得有一次，我和妈妈去买东西，我看到了新华书店，便向妈妈请求到新华书店去看书。在我的裤苦苦征求下，妈妈终于答应了。可要求是在三点以前回家，我为了读书顾不上那么多了，只好答应妈妈的要求。

我兴高采烈地跑下书店，在跑过去的时候就心想：上次那本《世界历史》读哪了？它好像在文类书籍地二排第五行，对了！这是我已经跑到书柜前了。我用我那双眼睛急切地寻找着，哦！原来它在这里，这已经不是上次的地方了。我把书捧在怀里找了一个安静的地方读了起来每次读一本书，我首先会看它名字，作者为什么要去这个题目，这个名字有没有和内容有关，然后，我会看这本书的作者资料和书本的介绍，最后我才去看那本书

我津津有味地读那本书，根本没有在意一分一秒的过去。突然，一个陌生的声音出现在我的耳边：“xxx，书店关门了，回家去了吧”我一看，原来是书店的叔叔，我一看时间，啊！六点多了呀！我急忙回了家！

我的优点虽然不多，但是让我最得意的优点是：爱看课外书。我读书的经历多得就像数不清的糖果，我开几颗给你们看吧!

“我干吗看书呀!”我真烦我自己，干吗写作业看课外书!害得我晚上没办法看动画片。突然门铃响了，原来是对面的李佳洋姐姐找我去她家看《芭芘之十二个芭蕾舞公主》，但是我又听见妈妈那冷冰冰的声音“对不起，瑞瑞没有写完作业，所以不能去你家看”。听完这句话，顿时整颗心冷落了下来，正当我想责骂自己的时候，忽然我看见了对面的李佳洋姐姐正在高高兴兴像一只欢快的小鸟，正在看《芭芘之十二个芭蕾舞公主》，我不禁无声的哭起来，几滴冰凉的泪落在了本子上，“啊!”我擦了擦泪，看看还有多少页，呀!只有1页作业了加油!……

还有一次是我小时候3岁时，那时我们家境贫寒是看不起书的，爸爸妈妈想让我认识一下书，就辛辛苦苦的为我凑足了买书的钱，给我买了一本《格林童话》。当时我高兴的不得了，我就让妈妈为我读起来，哇!好丰富的知识，每当读到白雪公主时让我为白雪公主得到了终身幸福而高兴，我为灰姑娘没有礼服而伤心，我也为王子发现了那个神秘女郎是那个又脏又黑的杂毛女时兴奋……

Recently,I have just finished reading a famous novel written by Margaret mitchell—“Gone with the Wind”,which is one of the most popular works among American novels.It took the auther about 10 years to finish this great novel,the only novel in her life. The story happened during the Civil War eve.Scarlett OHara,a 16-year-old girl,who was living in Tala manor in Georgia,was loving her neighbor Ashley Wilkes.However,after the war have broken out, Ashley Wilkes married his yonger cousin Melanie. Scarlett was so angry that she decided to marry a man she didn?t really love---- Charles Hamilton.Not long after that, Charles Hamilton joined the Army and died of illness in the war.So Scarlett had to act as a widow.Afterwards,at a donating dance party,Scarlett is acquainted with a captain named Rhett Butler. Then the flames of war approached Atlanta.Everyone was busy leaving away from the war.Scarlett managed to escape from Atlanta with the help of captain Rhett.Having come back to Tala manor,Scarlett made up her mind to rally her homeland at any cost when she saw that the former manor had been ruined.Later,her second husband died in the fight,she was a widow again.Durling that time, Rhett had been loving Scarlett sincerely and warmly.Seeing that Rhett could help her rally the manor,Scarlett married

him.Although Rhett had similar characteristic attracting her,Scarlett still loved Ashley.Later,their only daughter died accidently,Rhett left Scarlett sorrowly.And then Scarlett realized that Rhett was the only one who could fall in love with her.

The novel takes the US Civil War as the background.It takes Scarlett?s individual activity as the thread.The book show us a tragic love story .A couple who could have a perfect future,but finnally go in opposite direction.As a matter of fact,their charactristics have decided their tragic result inevitably.We feel sorry about the end because we are looking forward to a perfect end,just like Scarlett and Rhett.In fact,ferfect is always a excessive damand.

I affirm Rhett.He brings excitement to Scarlett?s life and encourages her impulse to change and succeed.Like Scarlett,he goes after what he wants and refuses to take ?no? for an answer.He is humorous,intelligent and cynical with a hint of treason.He is really a respectable man.I think he finnally left because of love .Otherwise,he couldn?t have gone without hesitation.

Ashley Wilkes is the foil to Rhett?s dark, realistic opportunism.If there was no Civil War,he is surely a nobility of grace and charm.But history cannot be changed.He bocame a victim of the war.His era was gone with the defeat of the war.At the same time,we cannot deny the

fact that he had a chear understanding about reality,which just contribute to his tragedy.

In this book,what I appreciate most is not Melanie?skindness or Rheet?s dedication and patience,but Scarlett?s courage to throw her long-standing morality and tradition whe faced with diffiiculties.At the beginning of the war,she didn?t care about this.In her world are endless dinner parties and dance parties.In her body are her father?s brave Irish blood and her mother?s noble French pure blood.She had a vast farm as her home.She had hundreds of slaves.This is Scarlett.,a member of noblity,proud and different.However,the war changed everything.Her mother died of illness.Her father become silent and the farm was nearly deserted.Even food became a big problem.All the pressure was put on Scarlett?s shoulder.She must feed a family of 9 people in it.What a big difference of level.If all this happened to someone else,he or she may choose to escape.On the contrary,Scarlett choose to face the change of life bravely.How can we not admire her courage of to change herself.Life is like a mountain.The road can?t be completely smooth.When we fall down from the peak,we may get hert ,we may get disappointed,we may feel despair.But if you want to survive,you must stand up to face it.

It is obvious that is really a good book,even if a long time has passed away,it is still suitable for today?s

society.It is of great importance to change ourselves,change our value even our thoughts when our life chages.

On the other hand,I think there is no real perfect in the world.Everybody has his shortcomings.It is necessary for us to learn to forgive others? faults.If we keep good-tempered,Ibelieve there will be more comedy and less tragedy.

Courage, Love And Sincerity

What Gump  has told me

Everyone should have a belief in his heart about life, beauty, and noble humanity. This is what Gump told me, who is a true man full of courage ,love, and sincerity in my mind.

Life is a box of chocolate and we can never know what it is inside before we open it. Just as Mrs Forrest put it, everyone has a destiny. As for Gump, he was thought to be a perfect fool since he was young. While, after watching the movie, I can not help but admire this young guy because of his braveness to deal with obstacles, his consistence to love and his devotion to friendship. Stupid he might seem to be, Gump gave a meaningful lesson to us who are what called more intelligent people.

Born as a boy with natural defects, Gump eventually accomplished plenty of achievements which we ordinary people can not approach. With a plain thought and natural optimism, Gump just did what he was good at, running as fast as he could, struggling toughly against destiny with all the facilities he had been given. To our surprise, he eventually graduated from college, got a military medal, became one of the best pingpong players around America and even owned a huge shrimp company. Astonishing and unbelievable as it was, those miracles did happen sometimes. Who says that great success only belongs to those

with super talents? In my opinion, those who endeavor to make their best also deserve applause and respect. Let us run towards the new sun and embrace everyday with hope and we can make a difference.

To tell the truth, I can not help but shed tears several times when I watch the moving scene where Gump rushed into dangerous forest again and again to save his battle companions. What great  selfless devotion Gump showed us! Unfortunately, Bubble, one of the best friends of Gump died in the battle field, which left a great grief to Gum. While, after retiring from military service, Gum kept his promise and purchased a big shrimp ship in order to finish Bubble’ dream. Meanwhile, he also provided financial support to Bubble’ family. First Lieutenant Dan, a staunch soldier, who lost his two legs in Viet Nam , abandoned himself in the abyss of despair. Nevertheless, Gump still supported him and finally help him make peace with God. Gump told us that genuine friendship needs nothing but love and sincerity.

Another enlightenment Gum brought me is about the definition of true love .As a matter of fact, genuine love has little things to do with appearance, wealth or backgrounds but is concerned with tolerance, consistence and devotion just as what Gum behaved. Like carrots and peas, Gum and Jenny sit in the big banyan tree seeing the stars rising, took a walk at sunset, enjoyed the gorgeous scenery beside the lake .As we can see, Jenny did mean a lot to Gump and his selfless devotion to

Jenny is the most touching one I have ever seen which is the real romantic and permanent love, forming a sharp contrast to some superficial young people those days who care so much about substance and appearance.

Life is like a feather which drifts randomly in the swing of wind and there are quite some things we can not determine. But what we can do is traveling as far as we can with a genuine belief for courage, love and sincerity .If so, when time flied and all things fade away someday, the fragrance of our mellow life will last forever, just like what Gump did.
