读书的好处很多。

读书养性，读书可以陶冶自己的性情，使自己温文尔雅，具有书卷气;读书破万卷，下笔如有神，多读书可以提高写作能力，写文章就才思敏捷;旧书不厌百回读，熟读深思子自知，读书可以提高理解能力，只要熟读深思，你就可以知道其中的道理了;读书可以使自己的知识得到积累，君子学以聚之。总之，爱好读书是好事。让我们都来读书吧。

读书的好处有很多，我给你介绍以下几点:

1.可以使我们增长见识，不出门，便可知天下事。

2.可提高我们的阅读能力和写作水平。

3.可以使我们变的有修养。

4.可以使我们找到好工作。

5.可以使我们在竞争激烈的社会立于不败之地。

其实读书有很多好处，就等有心人去慢慢发现。

有一次学校组织课外知识竞赛。有一道题是这样的：树袋熊为什么浑身是香的?三个选择：A与生俱来的，B生活在清香中，C它吃了一种香的树叶，时间长了就香了。这道题我在哪见过，哦，想起来了，就是前天阅读的一篇科学论文。里面提到的，说是树袋熊爱吃桉树叶，这种树叶里有一种成分，吃多了时间长了就香了。我选了C。过了几天，试卷发下了一看，果然是C。还有好多题，我都见过，才把它们做对的。

还有一次，上作文课。老师要我们写关于劝学的文章。我就引用了一些名言、古诗。好多人都没有想到，可是我想到了。作文点评时，老师把这篇文章读给大家听，让大家学习，还表扬我爱读书呢。这些都是我平时多阅读多积累的效果。

我终于明白了，阅读能让我们多补充课外知识，写出好的文章。当然最重要的是阅读让生活变得更精彩。所以说阅读好处多多。

每个人都有自己的读书经历，我也有，同时，我读书的经历还让我难以忘怀。

在我小的时候，我就开始看书了，每天晚上妈妈就会把故事书拿来读给我听，然后让我自己把书抱着，看上面五颜六色的图画。妈妈走出房间后，我又拿起书咿咿呀呀地读着，读着读着，我就慢慢地睡着了。后来，听妈妈说，当时我还说梦话，好像说的是故事情节。

上了小学一年级后，我开始看带有拼音的童话书了，我一个字一个字地拼读，终于读完了，我便骄傲地跟妈妈说：“看，我读完了！”这些童话则让我知道了世界上的善恶美丑。

等到三、四年级，我又迷上了动物小说，我读得如醉如痴、废寝忘食。餐桌上、茶几上、电视旁、书包里……到处都是动物小说。心情不好，有烦心事，我会拿起一本书，读上一两页，细细地品味里面的故事，心情就会好很多。因为读书而忘记吃饭、睡觉，这是常有的事。

爸爸妈妈总是劝我读书要全面，不能只看一种书，开始我还漫不经心、不以为然地听着爸爸妈妈唠叨，嘴上说着好，可仍是我行我素，不过我很快就发现了自己的错误。读三年级的时候，老师说我写的作文不错，那是因为作文简单。上四年级了，作文有些难度了，我积累的词语句子不够用了，所以，我开始全方位读书：散文、诗歌、小说等等，只要是书，我都是来者不拒，功夫不负有心人，我的作文水平有所提高。

我现在读五年级了，作文的要求就更高了，我认为我应该多看看中外名人写的小说了，从而学习他们的写作方法和好词好句，这样才能让我更上一层楼。

每一本书都是一颗智慧的结晶，当你慢慢地去积累收藏这些看似微不足道的结晶，你就会发现这些结晶为你组成了两个庞大的字：成功！

My experience of the winter vacation

The winter vacation goes by unconsciously. I experienced a lot and learned a lot both about subjects and life. And I want to introduce a new member of my family to you. It’s a pot of flowers.

“I still remember the flowers we buy last year. The flowers blossomed really amazing. So I buy another one this year!” as I heard my mum’s voice, a pot of flowers appeared in my house. Since then, it became the apple in my mum’s eye. But the bud didn’t open yet, so it didn’t interest me at all.

My mum took care of it every day. “Can it bloom” “Trust me, it can give you surprise.” Answer my mum. Several days later, some bud opened. The house became muchlivelier with the decoration of the floret. I admitted that I underrated it. “How gorgeous will it be” I thought.

Unwittingly and quietly, New Year’s Eve came.When all of us were watching TV, these flowers already blossomed gorgeously and exudes a light fragrance. All of us stopped from watching TV to appreciate the flowers. “See, how wonderful it is!” My mum said approvingly.

Yeah, nothing is impossible. An ugly bud can blossom to a beautiful flowers, a poor beggar can struggle to a successful business man. So throw our prejudice away, let’s judge everything with logos.

[寒假经历英语作文

我是一个不爱读书的小孩，所以我的作文成绩从三年级开始就一直落后。你们看到这一定会奇怪作文成绩很差的小学生怎么敢来投稿啊。请你们往下看，因为等你们看完一定会吃惊的。

我的爸爸，妈妈天天都叫我读书而我最多也就是应付了是，而我有一次那看书的时候想起了穿越火线，我这一想就把手举成枪的模样砰砰！砰砰！的的打了起来结果给我爸爸发现了被K了一顿，又漫不经心的看起书来了。

暑假来了爸爸又叫我看书了。哎！我的苦日子啥时候是个头啊！我边看边想。一天爸爸叫我把读书笔记给他看。天啊我只是应付了是哪来的读书笔记啊！我只好说找找等等在给他们看，然后赶快乱写一通了。可是一波未平一波又起，老爸叫我写一篇让他满意的作文。这如同五雷轰顶，当头棒喝我想这次躲避不了了只好承认了结果又被K了一顿。可后面的一切改变了我。

开学了我的国文老师是李春霞，这位老师好像一开始就知道我的不爱看书的习惯所以老师经常鼓励我读书。我被李老师的精神所感动。老师还让我们每个星期四带书去学校看。我是第一次在课堂上看这么多篇作文，我开始觉得书其实也蛮好看的了。

我开始所读书笔记了想如痴如醉啊，走火入魔啊…这样的好词我都记录了下来。果然功夫不负有心人我在第一次写读书卡就得了优加。我和家人比吃了蜜还甜。

我经历了这么多终于明白为什么那么名人叫我们好读书了。
