The Spring Festival

The Spring Festival，Chinese New Year，is the most important festival for all of us。 All family members get together on New YearEve to have a big meal。At the same time，everyone celebrates to each other。At about 12 oclock，some parents and children light crackers。The whole sky is lighted brightly。 We may watch the fireworks excitedly。How busy it is！

So the Chinese New Year comes to the end。

Will Christmas Replace the Spring Festival？

Christmas arouses increasing attention year by year in China。 Christmas cards become popular with students。 People hold Christmas parties and exchange Christmas girts。 A lot or TV and radio programs about Christmas are on。 Meanwhile the Spring Festival is less appealing to youngsters。 Thus some people wonder whether Christmas will replace the Spring Festival。

This worry is fairly unnecessary。 Why ？One reason lies that Christmas only affects Christians，college students and joint—ventureworkers。 Another reason is that Christmas is mostly celebrated in cities。 Few people in countryside show extreme interest in this exoticfestival。 By contrast，the Spring Festival is the most influential traditional festival in every family。

I think，it is natural that with increasing exchanges with the West，a lot of Western holidays have been gradually introduced into China。 For us Chinese we should never neglect or even discard our own traditional festivals。 For centuries Chinese have observed this traditional holiday to welcome the beginning of a new year。 And we will treasure the Spring Festival forever。

My plan of next year

A new year ，a new start，when I stand on the edge of a new year，I cant help thinking about my plan of next year。

Just as the old saying：“Well began is the half of the success。”So I decide that I should be at work while the others are still relaxing ，and then ，at the beginning ，Im quicker than the others and of course I will get better result than the others。

But ，what I really decide to do is that I must make good of anytime I can spare though it seems impossible。 While，I will do my best to live up with what I have planned，and the result will prove it。

我的读书经历，那可是有着波折的。

我在三岁的时候，是看妈妈给我买的英语字母卡片，一开始，我跟着妈妈读。后来等我完全认识了以后，我便自己读，我读了五六天，便不感兴趣了。

于是在我四岁的时候，妈妈每天晚上忙完后，便给我讲童话故事。妈妈每读完一个小故事，就让我把自己认识的字用笔圈起来，我每天都会多认识一两个字，那是我从动画片中学到的，因为每天电视播动画片的时候，底下都会有字幕，每次动画人物说话的时候，我便看下面的字幕，便认识了好多字。后来到五岁了，妈妈便让我自己读小故事。

到了小学一年级，我除了读老师让读的书，都不怎么读别的书，直到上二年级的时候，妈妈给我买了一本作文书，从那以后我便喜欢上了读书。

到了三年级，新来的班主任一直鼓励我们读书，我便开始读沈石溪写的动物小说。到了四年级，我便开始读四大名著的原著版。

As we know, World Reading Day which falls on April 23rd is drawing near. The purpose of the global festival is to promote reading and publishing. Nowadays, a lot of students prefer to spend much time in watching TV and they are crazy about Internet. So, most of them dont have enough time to read books. And still worse, they dont like reading. Since I was very small, there was a song about Guilin“I want to Guilin, but when I have money, I don’t have time…’’, this is the first impression I have on Guilin, it is so attracting.

我和读书的经历，还真是蛮少的。

我在3——6岁的时候妈妈为了我在幼儿园里学习好一点儿，能赶上进度，就花了好几十块钱，给我买了语文卡和数学卡，再加上我在幼儿园上了英语特色班里英语老师发的英语卡，每天晚上，妈妈就交给我怎么读或者是怎么写，妈妈就这样让我读读写写，就这样我在班里跟上了进度，老师还表扬了我，给了我一个大红花，在那时我就开开心心的把大红花给了妈妈说：“妈妈，这是老师给我的大红花，就这样妈妈给我补习的很有用处，得了大红花。

要上一年级了，妈妈给我买了一个带拼音的故事书，我每次下完课后，就开始读，又不会的时候，妈妈让我问老师，在我读的时候，其他人也跟我一起看了起来，当有个人不会的时候就问身边的人会不会，如果都不会的话，我们就一起去问老师。

我很快的就把妈妈给我买的书看完了，妈妈也非常的开心。

我有许多爱好，可我最喜欢读书。

在上幼儿园时，我还不认识字，总喜欢听大人说故事，我每次就喜欢坐在某个角落里听。

小时候，我爱听大人们读格林童话里的故事，觉得这些故事好玩，好笑。比如《聪明的格蕾特》这个童话中聪明的格雷特，以他非凡的智慧，让主人赦免他的罪过，重新获得快乐。

自从我上了小学之后，老师教会了我们汉语拼音，我终于可以自己看书了，这些书都是注有汉语拼音，有《格林童话》、《安徒生童话》、《神话故事集》、《一千零一夜》等等。有的是从书店里买来的，有的是从哥哥、姐姐那里借来的。这些文章虽然很短，至多只有两三页，但自那时起我却更喜欢看书了。

在上三年级的时候，我们的语文书就开始不再有汉语拼音注释，但这并不妨碍我对读书的喜欢。看书过程中，不认识的字，要么查字典，要么问妈妈。那时候，我不再看童话故事书，妈妈便建议我看历史故事书，如《三国演义》、《杨家将》、《中国上下五千年》、《中国皇帝史》等等。其中，我特别喜欢罗贯中写得《三国演义》，甚至在吃饭时我的视线都不肯离开书。

后来，我上了五年级，同学之间开始流行杨红樱的作品--《淘气包马小跳》系列。其中，我浏览过《丁克舅舅》、《贪玩老爸》、《笨女孩安琪儿》。我喜欢杨红樱的作品，因为它反映了当代儿童的生活现实与心理现实，随着“淘书节活动”的开展，我买到了黄蓓佳的作品，至今，已有她写的5本书了。

那天，大作家张之路来我校，我感到心情无比激动，当场就买了一本《奇怪的纸牌》，而后，又买了两本《非法智慧》、《魔表》，我喜欢张之路的非常神秘系列。

妈妈常说:“书中自有颜如玉，书中自有黄金屋。”从这些书中，我不仅获得了知识，培养了对文章的理解能力，而且提高了我的作文水平，我常常在想，将来我也要写一本书叫《今天我当家长》。

我买回来之后，耐不住心中的那份快乐，就看了起来，我先看的是辫子姐姐写的，我一会儿为女主角受的委屈愤愤不平，一会儿又为结局泪流满面，不一会儿就看完了，躺在床上，我在回味书中那些刻苦铭心的情节，时不时脑海里还会浮现出那些场面，还是在脑子里面构想出来的呢?

我准备睡觉的时候，才想起来，我还有一本书没看，于是我急急忙忙躺到被子里，拿起书就看了起来，一直到深夜我还在看，妈妈见我屋子里面的灯还没关，以为我睡着了忘记关了，准备关，见我在看书，就对我说;“赶快关灯睡觉，明天还要上学呢。”我只好恋恋不舍的放下书睡觉了。

直到第二天，我眼睛不想睁开，结果去晚了，才吸取教训。

I dont think so. In my opinion, to read books is more valuable than

俗语说:秀才不出门，能知天下事。在空闲时，我也会阅读报章。阅读报章不但能让我知道国内外所发生的事，也能对周遭的事情提高警惕。报章里头设有’’学生天地’’让学生们投稿。我不但能从中赚取稿费也能阅读其他学生所写的文章，从而提高自己的写作能力，何乐而不为呢?

此外，我也会阅读一些图文并茂的图书。这些图书能带给我娱乐，能让我暂时把繁重的功课及一切烦恼都被抛到九霄云外。它的却能让我快乐地，轻松地吸取知识。

由于我有阅读的习惯，因此父母常买各式各样的书籍给我。每当我生日时，由于朋友都知道我的爱好，所以收到的礼物绝大部分都是书籍。久而久之，我的藏书汗牛充栋，书房里几乎连站的位置都没有了!家人都称我的书房为“小小图书馆”。

书本真是我的良伴!朋友们，且让我们一去培养阅读的好习惯吧!它肯特定会使你受益无穷。
