我校附近的前进化工厂，天天向外排放难闻的有毒气体和废水，严重影响了居民的生活，而我们更是首当其冲，身受其害。

本来，我们学校是个清静美丽的场所。-条淸明澄亮的小 河蜿蜒流过我们的校园。小河两岸，杨柳依依，洁水碧柳，别有 一番情趣。每天早晨，同学们都在小河边背诵古诗辞赋、外语 单词，课外活动时，有的在河左边的球场打球，有的在小河边 漫步谈心。明丽的河水映着红砖瓦舍的教室和两旁的绿柳，在 夕阳中好似一幅水彩画，尽善尽美，妙不可言。今人气愤的是， 原来属于我们的这一切都不复存在了。

都是因为前进化工厂的大黑烟囱整天的冒黑烟，排水管 里往外排放五颜六色的废水。原来碧绿的小柳树，现在都成了 豆芽菜似的黄柳树，明亮的小河也被染成了一块斑驳的破抹 布，情况不仅如此。毎当工厂向外排废气时，我们不得不停止 上课，赶快关紧窗户，尽管门窗关得很紧，可还是呛得人受不了。更令人受不了的是自来水苦涩难咽。自来水厂的领导说 都是因为化工厂排放的废水污染了地下水资源，他们无能为力。

我校多次找化工厂领导，要求妥善解决此事，可化工厂领 导却借口说生产任务繁重，技术力量薄弱以及经费开支太大， 迟迟不解决此亊。

国务院曾三令五申，注意保护环境，提倡环境美，可化工厂为什么就置之不理呢?国家化工部也曾明文规定.建设化工厂要注意环境保护，既要注意经济效益，又要注意环境效益. 化工厂的领导为什么就不采取措施保护环境呢?

我们进行生产是为了造福人民，而不是给人民带来祸害，化工厂领导根本就没有认识到这-点，只抓生产不管环境，给 我们以及附近的居民带来了危害。

现在，我门恳请编辑同志,让我们占报刊一角，向社会发 出我们的呼吁：大家都来保护环境，使我们的生活更美好。使大家都成为环境的保护者，一致向那些破坏环境的工厂发出呼吁：注意保护环境。也恳请前进化工厂的领导.迅速把我们 和附近居民从被污染的环境中解脱出来。

随着科技的不断发展，汽车的不断增多，排放的废气已经造成了严重的污染，或许，几年后的子孙后代、几百年后的大家，或许会因为大气污染而死亡。现在，地球上每一年都有百分之二十的人因为饮用了受到污染的水而死亡，如果这样延续下去，地球在几万年后岂不是变得光秃秃、像月球一样了？

据科学家的统计，每一年，每一月都有百分之二十多的树木因为废气污染而枯萎。百分之八十多对我们有益的细菌死亡，大家或许会觉得很夸张，但这是事实。其次还有受到污染的废水、废气等。人类有错吗？

Taking care of our school and protecting our school environment! A clean and pleasant environment is very important, because it can make us healthy and happy.

It’s our duty to protect our school environment. We should clean the school every day. And we shouldn’t drop trash here and there. We should pick it up when we see trash on the ground.

We shouldn’t draw on the wall. If we all like our school the same as we like our homes, our school will be more beautiful. We will enjoy our study better. Let’s protect our school environment from now on, shall we?

In general, there are two ways of traveling, private cars and public transportation. Chinese people should regard public transportation as their first traveling opinion.

我的家乡以前山清水秀，鸟语花香。但人们为了种植茶叶，把大树一棵地砍了下来，导致了多次干旱和无雨。刚把茶叶种下去，就出现了很多不知名的害虫横行霸道地吃茶叶，人们忍无可忍，加重了农药喷射，使茶叶上有了很多致命的病毒。再看看家门口的小溪，以前鱼虾遍地，可现在垃圾往溪里扔，污染了溪水。鱼虾们死的死，伤的伤，最后连一只鱼、一只虾都无影无踪了。溪水已经变得浑浊不堪，黑乎乎的，散出一阵难闻的恶臭，想到人们以前在水里游泳、洗菜，可现在人们只要经过小溪，就就会不约而同的捂住鼻子，快速离开小溪边。

现在，人们已经意识到了周围的环境了，人民政府通过电视和广播告诉人们不要使用一次性筷子、不要使用塑料垃圾袋、包装袋，还启用了一种奖罚活动，栽一颗大树奖十元，砍一棵大树罚十元。还告诉人们不要破坏大自然，否则会遭到大自然的报复等。人们下定决心不再破坏环境了，还要保护环境。

在短短几年内。小溪变得干净、清澈，清得能看见最底下的石头和石上下的小鱼和小虾，山上的树木郁郁葱葱，小鸟蹦蹦跳跳地在枝头唱歌，害虫也不来我们这歇脚了，他们似乎明白这里不再是他们的天下了，家乡的草绿油油的，上面开着五颜六色的小野花，从远处看，他就像一块绣着花纹的地毯。

人们笑了，大自然也笑了，他们笑得真开心啊……
