今天阳光灿烂，天空就像我的心情一样开朗，明亮。爸爸单位今天组织我们一干子女，去敬老院做一次关爱老人的志愿者活动。我从来没有参加过志愿者活动。我怀着激动的心情，和小伙伴们一起叽叽喳喳地登上出发的班车。

来到星沙敬老院，我一眼看见这栋四层楼高的房屋，古朴的外墙显得很宁静，很孤独。走进大门，院里一些白发老人正在阳光下，或闲谈，或发呆，或散步，这些爷爷奶奶比我想象的要苍老，大部分都有七八十岁了，他们的黑发已被岁月染成银丝，但当他们看到我们一帮吵吵闹闹的小朋友的到来，苍老的脸庞露出了灿烂的笑容，是那么的和蔼可亲，充满活力。

在领队阿姨的带领下，我们首先拿出自己带来的五颜六色的彩带、彩灯、气球、对联等对活动室、院里的树木、以及爷爷奶奶们的起居室，布置了一番。这是我们第一次来到这里，但大伙都充满了热情，充满了干劲，就像一群忙碌的小蚂蚁，忙上忙下，忙里忙外，虽然在贴对联时有些吃力，挂彩带时还有些够不着，吹气球时用完了劲，但每个小伙伴的脸上洋溢着开心的笑容。

接下来，我们按事先分好的小组分散到各层陪伴爷爷奶奶们，有的小伙伴陪爷爷奶奶聊天，有的小伙伴帮爷爷奶奶捶背，有的帮助爷爷奶奶整理居室;有的爷爷奶奶不怎么爱说话，或者话很少，小伙伴们就以最大的真诚和热情，搀扶着爷爷奶奶散步，这使我们感到非常开心和欣慰。

接下来，是专门为爷爷奶奶们设置的游戏环节——击鼓传花游戏。在院长伯伯的组织下，所有的人围坐在院里，然后响起一段音乐，由院长起头传花，突然，音乐停止，这时花落谁家谁就表演节目，有的小伙伴表演唱歌，有的讲故事、讲笑话，有的表演魔术、有的表演悠悠球，有的表演乐器，有的还表演速算，有的玩脑筋急转弯，爷爷奶奶们都看得很是开心，爷爷奶奶们的掉了牙的“开口笑”让我第一次感受到了爱心的回报，突然觉得爷爷奶奶们也不是那么苍老，他们也和小孩子一样，很简单、很天真。

时间总是过得很快，活动结束了，我们要离开敬老院了。我有点舍不得分给我的屈奶奶了，屈奶奶虽然有一子两女，但是子女们要么身体不好，要么生活条件不好，没办法和屈奶奶住在一起，这让屈奶奶感觉很无奈，也很孤独。其实人老了却没有儿女的陪伴，是多么孤独，他们多么希望有人陪他们聊天，在养老院里虽然有很多同样孤独的老人，但他们大部分都不怎么互相说话。虽然在这里他们吃的喝的都有人负责，但是他们自己内心认为只有可怜的、没有家人照顾的人才会来敬老院，因此他们并不开心，所以就算孤独，他们也不希望和人多说话。在这次活动结束后，我想从现在起应该要做一个孝敬父母的孩子，要感谢爸爸妈妈的全心陪伴，长大后不要以“忙”为借口，不陪伴爸爸妈妈，我一定要像爸妈耐心陪伴我一样，陪他们多在一起多说话。我要努力学习，学到很强的本领，能够陪伴爸爸妈妈周游世界。

什么是留守儿童?留守儿童是指父母双方或一方外出到外地打工，而自己留在农村生活的孩子们。他们一般与自己的父亲或母亲中的一人，或与隔辈亲人，甚至父母亲的其他亲戚、朋友一起生活。留守儿童的童年生活不仅物质条件极其匮乏，精神家园建设也常被忽视。他们的父母为了生计远走他乡离开可爱的孩子，外出打工，用勤劳获取家庭收入，为经济发展和社会稳定作出了贡献，他们却留在了农村家里，与父母相伴的时间少之又少、微乎其微。

由于陪伴他们的大都是年迈的祖父母，这些留守儿童长期缺少父母陪伴与教育。不能享受在温暖床头灯下听爸爸妈妈讲读故事的温情，不能享受旅游景点的快乐怀抱，不能享受…………。

如皋市学雷锋义工站拟定于12月5日当天带领如皋高新区实验初中的留守儿童们享受旅游怀抱、图书馆体验、超市快乐等。通过举办“让留守儿童不再孤单”这样的公益活动来唤起全社会对留守儿童的进一步关注。

二、活动意义：

举办“让留守儿童不再孤单”公益活动来倡导社会各界共同关心、关注、关爱留守儿童，努力为留守儿童营造一个“健康、快乐、平等、和谐”的成长环境。让留守儿童的远方父母安心在外，让他们少一份操心，多一份安心。用志愿者爱的心灵筑起留守儿童健康成长的阶梯，用志愿者爱的行动呵护国家未来的栋梁。

五、活动日期：2015年12月5日(国际志愿者日)(星期六)

六、活动流程概要：

(1)上午8点学雷锋义工站的志愿者们至高新区实验初中集中。(部分环节另定)

(2)8点30分从高新区实验初中出发，前往国家4A级旅游景点如皋水绘园，让留守儿童们在旅游景点中体验无极限快乐。

(3)10点至如皋市图书馆，让留守儿童在书香如皋的图书馆环境中体验不一样的读书乐趣。

(4)11点至如皋大润发购物广场，让留守儿童们在琳琅满目的商品中惬意一下。

七、学雷锋义工站志愿者活动准备概要：

1、车辆准备：10部爱心车辆

2、志愿者招募：20人

3、对讲机准备：5部对讲机(用于车辆的有序行进)。

4、保温瓶10个：用于留守儿童活动过程中的饮水提供。

Christmas arouses increasing attention year by year in China. Christmas cards become popular with students. People hold Christmas parties and exchange Christmas girts. A lot or TV and radio programs about Christmas are on. Meanwhile the Spring Festival is less appealing （有吸引力的）to youngsters. Thus some people wonder whether Christmas will replace the Spring Festival.

This worry is fairly unnecessary. Why ？One reason lies that Christmas only affects Christians，college students and joint-venture （合资企业）workers. Another reason is that Christmas is mostly celebrated in cities. Few people in countryside show extreme interest in this exotic（带有异国情调的）festival. By contrast，the Spring Festival is the most influential traditional festival in every family.

I think，it is natural that with increasing exchanges with the West，a lot of Western holidays have been gradually introduced into China. For us Chinese we should never neglect or even discard our own traditional festivals. For centuries Chinese have observed this traditional holiday to welcome the beginning of a new year. And we will treasure the Spring Festival forever.
