As part of my career planning, I am very interested in supplementing my international business education with a basic knowledge of the Chinese language. I already have information from BLCU and hope to study there for at least one full year starting with this summers program continuing through the fall and spring semester 2006. Can your office advise me if such scholarships might be available to me?

Children’s education has been concerned by the public all the time. As they

are the future and will decide a country’s destiny, so the environment matters

so much to them. Most parents expect the school can provide the children a good

learning environment and ignore the importance of home education.

School provides the children a direct stage to receive education. In the

school, the teachers pass knowledge and educate them the right value. The

children know their task and as everybody around them focus the attention on

study, so they are affected by each other and have the strong desire to

learn.

Home education is easy to be ignored by most parents, they think it is the

Usually, the Valentine’s Day has no connection with the traditional Chinese

festival, but this year, the Lantern festival falls on the same day with the

lovers’ day. Well, some young will face a dilemma，especially for those who

doesn’t get married. Should they spend the day with their families or their hot

lovers? That’s a question. I’ve got a key that can solve this problem.

Family comes first of course. You should wake up a little earlier in the

morning, and help your mother in the kitchen. On the Lantern Festival, making

rice balls and dumplings are the traditional activities. Having a reunion dinner

with the whole family is also very important, so you need to show up and stay

with your family for the whole morning. Spend some time with your family. Keep

them company and make them happy. In the afternoon, there are maybe not so busy,

you can plan for the Valentine’s Day with your girlfriend or boyfriend, you can

have some snacks in 4p.m, and tell your parents you will hang out with your

friends at night and not having supper at home tonight. They would be

understood. Then you can take your girlfriend or boyfriend to a nice restaurant

and see the latest movie after dinner. Do not forget to present the gift you

prepare for your lover. Make your lover happy, too.

I think everybody should find a balance between family love and lover’s

love. If I can only choose one, I will choose family love over the other.

Because I know my family never leaves me and my parents are aging. How many days

can I still be with them? So I really appreciate the days that I can still be

with them. I know you will do the same just like me.

Dear Mr. Wang,

Thank you for a rapid response to our invitation. Enclosed you will find an outline of events to take place during International Week here at the University of Montana. I will also list a number of possible speaking engagements so that you can choose those things in which you are most interested. As far as topics are concerned, the topics for classroom visits are generally determined by the professor, but most professors are very flexible. We have approximately thirty-five faculty members that teach courses in Asian Studies, ranging from language and culture to history and economics.

10 am - Cultural Exhibition opens

12 am - International Festival begins with a speech by the university president and an introduction of visiting dignitaries

1-5 pm - Opportunity to visit festival, interact with student performers, taste foods

6 pm - Dinner with Director of Mansfield Center Phil West, Ambassador Mark Johnson, and staff of Mansfield Center

我的校园江都实验小学，位于江都北区，占地大约40亩，它有南北两个门，今天我就带大家浏览一番吧! My campus Jiangdu Experimental Primary School, located in Jiangdu North District, covers an area of about 40 acres. It has two north and south doors. Today I will take you to browse!

进了南门，一眼就看见一条笔直宽阔的路，马路中间有一个雕塑，不论是风吹雨打，还是烈日曝晒都静静地陪伴着我们成长，马路两旁排列着整齐的宣传栏，好像士兵守护着校园。

雕塑的东南角是谨信溪。这里有清澈见底的溪水，有叮咚作响的瀑布，不时有调皮的小鱼探出脑袋，好像在跟我们打招呼，小溪的上面造型奇特的假山，好像一个威武的巨人，阳光下，“谨信溪”三个大红字熠熠生辉。提醒我们要讲诚信。

穿过谨信溪，就来到了我们的乐园──操场，操场是红绿相间的在这里留下了我们快乐的声音和辛苦的汗水。

操场后面是知识的海洋──图书馆。这是一个圆柱形的建筑，里面的.书很丰富，摆放得整整齐齐，小朋友在那学习，安静的连一根针掉在地上都能听得见。

马路的西边排排整齐的教学楼，教学楼一共有四层，每层有四个班级。

三月春天的一个星期天，我早早起床，兴高采烈地和同学去美丽的西湖公园欣赏醉人的春光。 One Sunday in March Spring, I got up early, and went to the beautiful West Lake Park to enjoy the intoxicating spring with my classmates.

才爬上床，熄了灯。妈妈便又开灯进来，大水果盘中两三个削好的水果，还有一杯热气腾腾的牛奶。我忍俊不禁，总觉得妈妈的样子像个餐馆服务生。她坐在了我床边，端起牛奶：“才热的，睡前喝牛奶，有助于睡眠。”突然间就有一种感动化为泪珠氤氲在眼眶中。我猛地端起茶杯，一口气喝下了牛奶，任凭妈妈在一边叫“小心烫小心烫。”牛奶的香甜与温醇都在瞬间倾入了我的体内，随着血液的流动将温暖回旋，就像妈妈的爱温暖地包围着我。日光灯下，那残余的几滴牛奶闪着泪光。我赶忙将洁白得耀眼还有余温的瓷杯递给妈妈。“呵呵，妈妈，暖手。”她推脱了几下，还是握住了，像是在埋怨我的太过矫情。我不管，只希望瓷杯能温暖她的手，就像我的爱温润她的心一般。

Yesterday, I asked my mother to buy me some candies. It was my favorite

white rabbit rolls. When my mother bought it for me, I ate a little and hided

the rest. I was going to bring them to school to give them to my primary school

deskmate, Xiao Fang, because today is white day. I want to give present to her

to make her happy on this special day. I will give the candies to her later.

多年来，我一直都是自己去做别的同龄人没有做过的事。这些事在别人看来很简单，说起来也很简单，但是要真的去做就不容易了。

从我上初中以来，我的生活都是自己照顾自己，不管遇到多大的事都要自己去承受身边所有的一切。每周放假的时候都没有让自己放松的时间，要自己上街去买菜，买完菜回来还要打扫家里，到开饭时间还要自己煮饭烧菜，洗碗、刷锅样样都是自己来(平时也是这样)。接着就要上街去洗澡，每周都要做重复的事，觉得烦了、累了，可不管有多累，我还要咬紧牙关坚持到最后。

我不怨恨父母，因为父母也是为我们好。如果父母在家照顾我和姐姐，那么我们从哪里得到生活费用，尽管心中有千万个不愿意，但还是理解父母的。我知道父母挣钱不容易，所以我不像别的孩子那样伸手向父母要钱买这个买那个，更不会用父母的汗水换来的钱去包夜上网、玩游戏。

我学会了从生活中坚强起来，不能总是依靠父母，父母不可能养我们一辈子，不要遇到什么事都要父母替我们去解决，要学会让自己独立。有的孩子就因为父母过分溺爱导致坏习惯、坏毛病多。这些原因也是自己和父母造成的，不能怪任何人。

虽然从我七岁起就很少和父母一起相处，父母的那份爱却从来没有减少过，姨妈和姨父给了我许许多多的关爱，是我一辈子都不会忘记的。我会永远的埋藏在我内心的深处。父母每次回来我都很高兴。

可是当父母又要去外地为我们兄妹三个拼命的打拼时，我就会有一种依依不舍的感觉。我总是会一个人躲起来哭，因为爸爸妈妈的那份关爱之情我比任何一个同龄人得到的少之又少，但我不想爸爸妈妈跟着我一起难过。可是我尽管舍不得父母离开我，仍然要装着很开心的样子。因为多年的独立生活我已经变得很坚强。

有的孩子觉得父母给自己的太少了，我认为人应该要学会满足，不要对父母给的抱着不满的心。当然，我从来不会怪父母，我反而更加感激父母，因为是他们让我学会坚强，不像别的孩子总是依赖父母。依赖父母的人是很难学会独立的，我就是在坚强中、满足中、感激中学会独立的。

趣事一：我和妈妈一吃完饭，就上了步行街。一，步行街人山人海的。要不是爸爸提醒我，我早就认不出步行街了。到处是郁郁葱葱的大树。没想到才几天时间没来，步行街有这么大变化。真所谓刘姥姥进大观园，这一去，真是让我大开眼界。咦，那儿怎么围着那么多人啊!过去看看。哇!原来是打鼓队为了庆祝国庆，给我们助威。只见那些老精神抖擞，有节奏的打着鼓。这也是步行街的一个热点。

趣事二：下午，我们一家人，外加我一起到天下渔村。这里有个特点，就是想吃什么要现点现煮。我一听，说：“今天点莱由我作主。”说着就跑去点莱了。哇!这里的鱼真多啊!有鳗鱼、中华鲟、还有海圣…应有尽有。要不然怎么叫天下渔村呢!我点了一盘苦螺，听说可以减肥。还点了一盘红烧鱼、铁板牛肉…大家都夸我点的很好。

趣事三：吃完了，我和爸爸妈妈直奔凰凤山。一进去，这里演的莆仙戏就吸引我。不是他们演得好，而是台下那些为他们伴奏的拉二胡的老人们，只见他们聚精会神地拉着二胡。我从台下看，他拉的手指没有一个地方是不一致的，头上直冒汗。好像完全投入到里边去了，拉得那么好，让我羡慕死了。我在这也下定决心，好好学二胡，以后长大也像他们这么威风。

这次国庆节我太了。

诚信就是诚实守信，是做人的根本，是中华民族的传统美德。诚实指忠诚老实，言行一致;守信指说话和做事讲信用，说到做到。

The shortage of housing is one of the most serious problems facing many big

cities in China. Though the government has spent a large sum of money on

housing,the investment has not been very resultful and a housing shortage still

exists. Two generations sharing one room and newlymarried couples finding it

difficult to have a house of their own are still common cases. Housing shortage

is a problem that requires an immediate solution.

Peoples attitudes towards the solution to the housing problem are

different. Some suggest building more tall apartment buildings; others believe

that we should develop underground housing areas. I am in favour of the former

opinion. For one thing, it is cheaper to build upward than downward. For

another, living underground for a long time will do harm to peoples health.

Above all,people are unwilling to live underground with artificial lighting and

they prefer to live normally on the ground to enjoy the sunshine.

Although there may be some other ways to solve the housing shortage

problem, I believe to build more apartment buildings is one of the feasible

solutions to the housing problem.
