I get up at six in the morning. Then I wash my face and brush my teeth.

After a quick breakfast, I go to school in my mothers car. It takes us more

校园里，到处都是春的气息。水泥大道旁，两排香樟树相对而立，香樟树的叶子很香，人没到校，香味就扑鼻而来，老师说这是因为香樟树叶上香腺的因素，只要摘一片放在手上搓一搓，便会沾得满手香气，这些香味淡淡的，让人百闻不厌。大道右边是操场，操场的周围是松树，你挨着我，我挨着你，它们四季常青，给人予朝气勃勃，挺拔向上的境界，走在椭圆形的跑道上，看着那青松，常涌现出生命不息、奋斗不至的激情，这正是我校团结、勤奋、向上的教学灵魂的体现。

中国有许多的传统节日，有春节、端午节、重阳节、元宵节等等，其中最传统，最隆重的节日就是春节了，关于春节还有一个传说呢。

在古时候，有两个怪物，一个叫“年”，一个叫“夕”，然后这两个怪物非常厉害，“年”一次可以吃掉十头牛，“夕”杀人不眨眼，村民们都非常害怕他们,有一个壮士就召集了许多村民，大家一起用箭射死了“夕”，于是人们便把这天定为“除夕”。第二天，壮士又带着村民们去找“年”。在战斗中，人们发现“年”不怕弓箭，但是却非常怕响声和红色的东西，壮士便让村民们敲锣打鼓，并拿出红色的东西来吓“年”，最后终于把“年”吓跑了。以后每当这个时候人们就要放爆竹来吓“年”。于是就慢慢演变成现在的过年了。

现在过年，吃主要节目之一。在除夕夜，全家都回来团聚，大家围在桌边一起吃年夜饭是最幸福的了。吃完年夜饭后还要看《春节联欢晚会》这都是必不可少的。

在我老家过年还有一个有趣的节目。院子里洒满了芝麻秸儿，我们在上面踩的咯吱咯吱响，这叫“踩岁”;闹得筋疲力尽，睡前给大人请安，这叫“辞岁”;大人们就要拿出钱给我们，这叫“压岁”。

到了晚上，就要放爆竹，“冲天炮”、“狗尾草”、“扇子”都是孩子们喜欢的，从除夕夜到天亮彻夜不绝。

回忆往事，时光飞逝。那是在我小学三年级的时候。一天下午，我正要上学去，可走到半路上，只见天空阴云密布，响雷一个接着一个。我知道，大雨马上要来临了。于是加快了脚步。可是不一会儿，倾盆大雨就下起来，“怎么办，”焦急地看了看表，“天呀!还有十分钟就上课了。”没办法，只能顶着风雨走。我不顾一切向学校奔去。突然，传来一阵熟悉的叫声：“等等我，我来了!”回头一看，是妈妈。我停下脚步。见妈妈把身上的雨衣脱下，穿到我身上，气喘吁吁地说：“我送你，快走吧!”声音嘶哑。这时，我才猛然想起：妈妈感冒了。“妈妈，我把这雨衣穿上吧!你还发烧，要不然你病情加重怎么办?”妈妈笑笑：“你妈身体强得很。”说着，指指头上的红帽子说：“我有帽子呢?”快走吧!”说完，拿起我的书包，一提手，让我走。

只有几分钟，天地似乎就分不开了，雨水往下大滴大滴的流。妈妈小心翼翼地拉着我的手，亲切地问：“冷吗?”我摇摇头。虽然妈妈的手凉凉的，可我却觉得无比温暖。

终于，到了学校。雨也小了点儿，我长长地出了一口气，“哎，总算没迟到，妈妈，多亏您了。”妈妈的脸上露出慈祥的微笑。仔细一看妈妈，几滴雨水从妈妈的帽子檐角滴落到地上。

“铃铃铃”。半随着悦耳的铃声，同学们合上伞，纷纷进了教室。“妈妈再见。”“再见，上课好好听讲，不会的题要问老师，还有……”直到我进了教学楼门口，仍能听见她的嘱咐声。

我家有几只小乌龟，它们很可爱。

小乌龟的眼睛就像两颗黑宝石，三角形的嘴巴，短短的尾巴。它们的腿上有很多的肉，走起路来一摇一摆的。当小乌龟伸长了脖子的时候，你会发现小乌龟的脖子上也有一层肉，就像是小乌龟戴上了厚厚的围巾。

小乌龟们也是我的好朋友，时常逗得我不亦乐乎。

记得有一次，我无聊便去去看看小乌龟们，一只最小的乌龟，爬到了另一只大乌龟的背上，在上面手舞足蹈，一副洋洋得意的样子。没一会儿，大乌龟好像看不下去小乌龟耀武扬威的样子，猛地把小乌龟甩了下去，小乌龟一下四脚朝天，我不禁大笑了起来。

我没事的也会去逗逗小乌龟们，给他们喂一些食物。有一次我和平常一样丢下几颗龟食，以为它们肯定又会争先恐后的抢起来，但他们却将龟食踢来提去像是踢上了世界杯，各不相让。

听我说完我家的小乌龟们，你是不是也想养小乌龟了呢?

珠海，是一个美丽的地方，让我带你去看看珠海长隆海洋王国的奇妙吧。

刚进大门，映入眼帘的就是一尊百米多长的魔鬼鱼像,下面一直播放着3D电影。毎一个游玩项目都像极了一座城堡，二高一中二低共五根配色和稭的芢瓣柱,中间粗而高的顶柱,让人觉得多了几分亲切感。门前的六个灯柱,把整个“城堡”衬托得格外美丽。

进入海象山，远远望去,看见玩超级激流的人从两个石像中间垂直穿越,一秒后又顺着S型往下飘,接着上去的时候擦过小桥,很快溅起一道两丈多高的水花,波纹立刻向远外荡漾，整个后半部分全程只有五秒钟,看着十分剌激。于是,我当机决断要玩这个。

经过一个多小时的排队之后,我们看到彩虹——船，经过耐心询问便知,这个项目是冰山过山车，我们穿好雨衣,随着“小船”[圆形过山车]上去。刚出发的时候,我心里就像十五个吊桶打水——七上八下，万一达到最高点时,突然塌了怎么办?万一冲剌的时候人甩出去了怎么办?万一速度不均而被撞怎么办?俗话说“不怕一万,就怕万一”!我对这个“思维定律”还是有些畏惧心理的。想着想着，小船已经上“电梯”了。往上看，这似乎永远也到不了头。哎!心又悬高了。

不知过了几秒钟，终于到了第一个冲剌阶段，来到了一个“高仿”茅草屋时，居然出现了一个一百八十度的转弯。谁知过山车突然停了下去，然后“嗖”一下子就冲了下去，直往下坠。我放声大叫，水溅了我们一身。我还没缓过神来就来了第二次下降，紧接着到了第二个冲剌点，我只觉得五腑六脏一直搅个不停，仿佛掉进了无底洞，喔噢!真是惊险啊!

快乐的时光总是那么短暂，不知不觉就到了晚上,我们在盛大的,绚丽多彩的烟火晚会中结束了海洋王国旅程，真心期待下次还有机会再来。

Humor is a flavor of our lives. Humor can soften relationship between

people; humor can adjust the atmosphere of different occasions; humor can bring

more fun and joy to our lives.

First, humor is very necessary in communicating with others because it can

soften relationship between people. In the process of getting along with others,

12月11日早晨，我校举行第三届冬季运动会，开幕式在塑胶球场进行。蓝天上，翻滚着连绵不断的云海，层层叠叠的云像鱼鳞似的，翻腾在晶蓝的天空中。太阳像位羞涩的少女，只射出几束阳光，穿破云海，把整个会场都照亮了，染红了鲜艳的红领巾，也染红了运动员们斗志昂扬的脸庞。 On the morning of December 11, our school held the 3rd Winter Games. 过了一会儿，四个主持人穿着绿白交错的衣服上场了。全场顿时鸦雀无声，所有人的目光一齐投向主席台。主持人在一阵又一阵的掌声中宣读了运动会的规则。接着，由校长宣布运动会开幕式正式开始。会场上爆发出一阵排山倒海的掌声。

校长宣布完毕，雄壮的运动员进行曲响起，伴随着乐曲，各支队伍顺次经过主席台。开头是国旗和校旗方队，鲜艳的旗帜如火一般红，旗手迈着整齐的步伐向前走。接着是鼓号队，队员们个个精神抖擞，头顶黑白相间的帽子，身穿红霞一样的队服。然后是裁判员代表和运动员代表们，他们象征着这次运动会将圆满成功。最后是我校武术队的成员，每一个都朝气蓬勃，喊着嘹亮的口号，齐步向前。每支队伍表现得都非常出色。而台下的观众更是心潮澎湃，掌声像浪涛似的一阵接一阵。队伍表演完毕，接着升国旗。雄壮的国歌伴着鲜艳的五星红旗迎风招展。全场师生肃静，一齐抬起头，瞻仰着这鲜红的国旗，全体少先队员向国旗敬礼。

最后是武术队的表演。三位大师的表演可谓是精彩绝伦。他们立着一块厚木板，一位赤手空拳的大师，瞄准木板，转身飞踢，一脚踢在木板上，木板瞬间被劈成两段!台下爆发出叫好声和惊天动地的掌声。第二次换了几块厚木板重叠在一起，但照样被踢断。最让人心惊肉跳是第三次，这次换成了一根钢筋，竟然被大师一脚踢弯!台下又是一阵雷鸣般的掌声。

开幕式结束后，校长宣布运动会正式开始，各班陆续退场，期待着接下来的比赛。

I have a lot of troubles, such as going to school, homework, and parents’

ramble. They like the stars in the sky. I am afraid of the darkness. This is my

biggest trouble. At night, I am fear of going out alone. And when my parents

2__年12月29日，学校开展了一年一度的元旦活动，这可使全校一千多名学生一齐欢跃了起来。活动主要功能是由全校全体师生参加，因此是个大型庆祝活动。

在元旦活动的前一天晚上，各个班级要布置好了本班教室，因此，每个班都八仙过海，各显神通。有的班在窗上喷上艳丽的彩带，有的班挂上了缤纷的拉花，还有班上画了活灵活现的各样黑板报，上面写着醒目的“欢庆元旦”四个大字，形状万千，麻雀变凤凰，一眨眼的工夫，整个教学楼变成了美丽的天堂。

第二天早晨是个振奋人心的时刻，大多同学很早就赶到学校，那些家住的很远的同学也不例外，即使这样，也装不满大家期盼元旦的激情。走进教室，可以看见许多同学手舞足蹈，他们“气球”般的心再也容不得不下自己的的欢快心情了，在广播的音乐伴随下，全校都江堰市洋溢着欢乐气氛。

铃声终于响起，大家的心情倍加激动，广播室播放了熟悉的运动员进行曲，全校34个班级有次序地走向操场。接着就是一系列的表彰。表彰结束后，就是真正振奋人心的时候了。我们又回到自己的班级，大家再也抑制不住自己的热情，高声欢呼了起来，随着这阵欢呼，大家开始了自己的才艺表演。

韦静抬着一台电子琴放到了讲台上，演奏一首电子琴曲。她全神贯注，把所有的力全部溶入到演奏中。同学们听得入痴如醉，仿佛敖游到美妙音乐的海洋中。当韦静把整首曲子弹完时，回应的是雷鸣般的掌声以及阵阵欢呼。杨策和孙文斌的双簧表演，令人捧腹大笑，一个人说一个人演，杨策演得惟妙惟肖，孙文斌说得栩栩如生，内容风趣，情景逼真，别有演员的神色……

时间飞快流逝，眨眼间就到了活动结束的时候了，虽然美好时光很短暂，但大家的欢声笑语却永远回荡在操场上。

During the winter vacation, nothing is different for my life. I wake up 11

o’clock Am everyday, after a washing, I have a good lunch with my parents. Next

I play computer games till the time to have supper. After have dinner. I go on

playing till 2 o’clock Am, and then go to sleep with tired. This is one dull day

My advanced-level subjects are History, Economics and English Literature. In addition to these subjects, "Use of English" is also a compulsory subject because a pass in English is a minimum requirement for admission to most faculties of the University of Hong Kong.

Apart from academic work, I have been actively involved in extra-curricular activities. I am Chairman of the English Club and I have represented my school in many inter-school contests.

On the advice of my friends, I have decided to further my studies in England because I wish to widen my horizons and benefit from the scholarly heritage of your country.

我的家乡就是一个山清水秀的地方，那就是——南靖。她位于福建省的西南部，然后那里气候怡人，四季如春。

听爷爷说，爷爷小时候那里还就是一座座美丽的森林。但就是，之后人们到处偷砍树木，就变成这天的样貌――山上到处就是空地，山村也没有几棵像样的大树了!听了这话，我就下了一个决心：长大后要重新把南靖变成一座充满绿色的大乡村!

听爸爸说，他小时候那里生活着许多青竹蛇、猫虎等动物，经常有人被青竹蛇咬伤了，猫虎还经常夜里跑下山来捉走鸡鸭。不知人为还就是自然环境不适应它们的生活，此刻几乎见不到它们的身影了。于就是，我也暗下决心，长大后把那里变绿之后，还要让这些动物从别的地方重新回到它们以前生活过的家!

我的家乡还有两座很有名的山(只就是在我们南靖很有名)，然后那就就是麒麟山和紫荆山。麒麟山能够在我们这儿自称“树山王”了，因为那里树最多，远望去象绿色的海洋;而紫荆山就是我们这儿的“山王”，因为它就是县城的山了，那儿树也很多，绿绿的。

我的家乡还有一条九龙江的支流，也叫母亲河，那就就是荆江。在江面上，横跨着一座高大雄伟的中山桥，桥上无论就是早晨还就是傍晚，都人来人往，就是人们休闲散步的好地方。如果你站在桥上做一次深呼吸，那你上定会说：“这儿的空气真好啊!”

我的家乡还流传着许多美丽的传说，有麒麟送子、山狗让佛┄┄等等。我爱我的家乡，南靖。
