I took the empty barrel and went towards the well outside the yard. It snowed yesterday, so the alley was very slippery. A layer of thickice was frozen on the platform of the well. I was frightened by the sight, but I gathered my courage to walk towards it.

The alley was so slippery that I walked with difficultly. Suddenly, I slipped and fell down, water in the barrel totally poured down on the ground. I stepped on the platform carefully. After standing steadily and squatting down slowly, I hooked the barrel at the end of the rope and put the rope down slowly. I made an effort to drag the barrel up after it was filled with water. I was very careful because it was easy to slip and fall. Then, I carried the barrel of water and returned to my house. My figners were frozen stiff. I realized my effort was in vain. I hated myself.

I failed to finish the assignment but I did experience life through a trifle which seemed easy but difficult to do well. Such was my first experience of life.

寒假来临，你们有什么好计划呢?我就有哦!在这个严寒的寒假，我打算继续在深圳龙岗这里过。我还要和爸爸妈妈，哥哥姐姐一起去深圳市的世界之窗哦!我们要在世界之窗度过一个快快乐乐的下午。晚上，正是涨潮的好时间，这是我的表姐告诉我的哦!

所以，我们晚上吃完饭的时候一起去大梅沙游泳。那里游泳超级好玩的哟!也推荐大家一起出玩玩哦!在大梅沙那里，我们可以玩踢沙子之战，还有沙子建筑和捡贝壳呢!的确是很好玩的。听我这么一说，你们有没有想去大梅沙的念头呢?

我寒假还有计划呢!我要去买一些关于学习的书本来看。还有呢，我还有把画画技术提高，每天画一幅难度一般般的画。我还有一个寒假计划呢，那就是提前预习。知道是什么意思吗?我的意思是这样的：在电脑上找到与四年级下册有关的资料、课文……来“提供”我预习。这样在课堂上，我就可以多多回答老师问的问题了!

青涩，带着稚气;春天，透着朝气。今天的我们就像刚刚升起的太阳，一步步走向辉煌。我们又像一张刚染上墨水的白纸，即将谱写人生的篇章。

对于白发苍苍的老人，青春已经离他而去，对于他曾经的青春是否辉煌过我们不得而知，但对于稚气未脱的我们，青春真实地存在在我们的眼前。堕落还是辉煌?

把握住青春的人，他的一生注定心中无憾。丢弃了青春的人，他的一生定会遗憾终生。

少年弱则国弱，少年强则国强。对于拥有青春的我们，这既是一个义务也是一份责任。

周恩来从小立志，为民族振兴而学习，他是一个把握住青春的人，以天下大事为已任。结果成为了振兴中华的重要人物。可以说他生活的时代并不美好，连年战乱，衣食不足。可就是在如此的情况下他也没有对自己的青春放任自流。而是迎难而上，努力学习，为自己以后的政治生涯奠定了雄厚的基础。

而现在的我们生活在和平美好的时代，我们为何不利用我们美好的青春，努力学习，奋发向上呢?挥霍了青春的人注定一事无成。

拥有青春，就是拥有了让我们年老时可以细细回味的一段历史，那就让我们从今天开始，让这段历史灿烂发光吧!至少也要给自己年迈之时留下一段充满朝气与意义的青春史诗呀!

How to be a greener person

It’s our duty to protect the inviyonment around us.

When we go to school, we should ride a bike or take a bus. When we go out

for activities, we shouldn’t step on the grass. We can’t draw everywhere. When

we go shopping, we’d better use a cloth bag. At home we can save water and

electricity. When we leave a room, we should turn off the ligts. At school we

can collect wast paper and recycle things, such as bottles, cans and plastic

bags. We shoudn’t listen to pop music or spit in pulic.

Let’s do something to protect our environment.
