As we know, most people have heroes in their hearts. For me， Liu Xiang is

the hero in my heart. He is a famous Chinese sportsman.

Liu Xiang is good at running. In 2004， he won his first Olympic gold medal

Wind blows up bags higher and higher in the sky. It is a scary thought that some day the earth will turn into a huge garbage land. Wastes, if not treated properly, will make our life a living nightmare.

The environmental issue is getting worse almost every day in cities with very large population. As is often the case, city development outpaces environmental protection. People consume great amount of natural resources and produce wastes. To effectively address such problems, cities need to spend big money. In addition, they need to call to the attention of people to become more environmentally responsible.

Many people are becoming less responsible and easily influenced by bad behaviors. “Why should I care while others shouldn’t?” Such idea makes some people only concern with places where they live and work. Furthermore, people sometimes even purposely litter for revenge to other people.

Although media promotes environmental awareness, good people are often snubbed as posers who try to set up a superior image in real life. Consequently, they are intimated of receiving negative comments for doing the right thing. Wrong as it is, such phenomenon is widespread especially among youngsters and people with low income and little education.

However, our society is waging a campaign against environmental pollution. People learn the harms of un-degradable lunch boxes and other polluting wastes. Laws in many countries prohibit or limit excessive use of polluting bags. Companies are continually replacing the old materials with more environmental friendly and recyclable kinds. Scientists have developed more effective technologies in waste treatment. As time goes by, more and more people put high priority on the protection of environment for a healthier life.

To sum up, people produce huge amount of garbage and the environment is seriously polluted because of lack of financial resources, sense of responsibility, or efforts. But the world will not turn into a “throw away” society if people put in sufficient efforts to protect our environment.

The afternoon of April 3rd, our school organized a class five and class together to worship the martyrs cemetery. Walking into the cemetery, looking around, surrounded by mountains, quiet and silent. Occasionally, there are several birds singing, but they also disperse quickly. Most of the students were lowering their heads, wondering what they were thinking in silence. I sighed with a sigh and thought: it was a long time away from the time of the war, and the soldiers who died for the country were fading away. How many people could remember them? Everyone left with a strain of white flowers, looked up at the distance. Looking at the tall marble statue of the martyr, there was a feeling of admiration in mind, and my thoughts went to that distant age. Those young girls who are still in flower season have sacrificed their lives in the cruel war. Did they ever regret when they died? At that moment, they thought of their parents at home, or the security of their country, or just such a departure?

The worship of the process is very simple, but the atmosphere is dignified. No matter what, what is on your mind at this moment, everyone is silent and soundless. Finally, we put the paper flowers in front of the stone tablets and leave them together. The whole process is somewhat solemn and heavy. Returning to school, my mind is always relaxed and depressed. Whenever I think of that stone tablet and think of the soldier who is sleeping underground, there will be a lot of sadness and weakness. Todays life is because of them, we can live so happily.

Qingming Festival is the traditional festival of our nation. At this time, everyone will pay homage to their loved ones or martyrs. In this Qingming Festival, we can do too little or too little. Only hope that we can use a sincere heart to face our elders and martyrs.

To be or nor to be, that is a question. To succeed or to fail? How to

nowadays.

We all have dreams, and we all work hard to realize them. But there will

We all know that Mrs. Curie discovered radium, but how many people really know

The key to success is confidence. It makes you brave, helps you get over

the troubles, and brings motivation to you. For example, somebody always get

nervous when they have an important speech, if they are in a nervous mood, the

results are always terrible. But if they are confident to themselves, the

results turn out to be better. Therefore, be confident, believe in yourself,

keep smile in your face when comes to difficulties, and you will achieve

more.

We all like to make friends, because no one can survive without a friend.

If you ask someone how many friends do they have, most will answer a lot.

Indeed, we make friends in different stage, even we are old, we still make

friends. But not all friends are as honest as they are, some friends we made

since we are young, some are just meet a couple of times and we don’t know much

about them. The former are real friends, while the latter are not true friends.

What is the real friend, a real friend is someone who you can talk about

anything and can be show up the moment you need. Other friends are just for

drinking and eating, they will not help you if you are in trouble. When we make

friends, the real one is what we need.
