学校一年一度的运动会上，我参加行进打击乐队中的旗舞彩排时，一位好友羡慕地告诉我：“你们这个节目好酷呀！鼓声搭配上下翻飞的旗子，太震撼了！”我笑了：是呀，我们的确是最拉风，最酷的。心里却想到一年来每周五下午，那挥汗如雨的日子。

每次都会扛着和自己差不多高的铁旗杆，站成一列，先是转旗，旗面要展开，并且要整齐，这并不简单，从乱七八糟到整齐一列再到弧形扇面，我们好似一群残兵败将，一次次学会包容他人和自己的错误，改变节奏，不停地练习。接下来便是挥旗了，要将旗左右挥舞并转动，对于我来说，这个动作可是最折磨人的环节，我的手腕儿劲儿比别人小，使劲转动僵硬的手腕儿，能清楚地感受到血液似乎在手腕处停止了，它们全部向大脑冲去，手腕上的筋，每一根，如铁梭，吱呀扭动着，而那些肌肉，缠绕在手筋上，一点点被拉开，像一根根绷紧的弦。

旗面在我的强制转动下缓缓抬升，向太阳的方向指去，金色的阳光透过纱质的旗面，整个旗都变成金色的了，我透过那旗面能看见丝丝缕缕的阳光，它们如胜利的光辉，那么明亮，整个世界，在那一瞬间，仿佛只剩下金色的阳光，还有起舞的我。

在那次训练中，我克服了困难，如愿登上运动会的舞台。那时，我对酷有了自己的感受，酷，不是表面的表现，在它背后，有种品质支撑着它。

运动会上，我举着旗，踏着鼓点，一步步走到主席台的正前方……自如地转手腕，扬下巴，下蹲，踢腿，旗面在空中绽放，我在上下飞舞的旗中穿行，舞蹈。赞美声包围住整个乐队，我一边“耍酷”，一边开心的笑，似乎懂得了什么……。

是的，酷的背后有着坚持不懈的努力，拥有美好坚持的酷，那才叫酷！
