Currently, some cities are considering a food ban on subways, which has sparked heated discussion. Some people say food should be banned because of the trash and rats they attract. And, garbage from discarded food can cause track fires. Mothers Day Mother’s Day is a holiday when children honor their mothers with

Turkey, Australia and the US, people cel lebrate Mother’s Day on the second

Sunday in May while many other countries of the world celebrate their own

Mother’s day at different times through out the year.

One of the best ways to celebrate Mother’s Day is to give your mom the day

I read the Chinese version of “Camille” a few years ago. At that time I was deeply moved by the main character Marguerite Gautier. “Camille” or “The Lady of the Camellias” by Alexandre Dumas, fils, is the story of Marguerite Gautier, a young courtesan, or kept woman, in Paris in the mid 1800s, and how she falls in love with a young man, Armand Duval, and then tries to escape from her questionable past. When I first began to read the book, I did not care for Marguerite or her attitude or lifestyle, but as I got further into the narrative, I realized that her saucy attitude was a front to cover the lonely woman that she really was. She felt used, abused and unloved, until the gentle Armand Duval came into her life and showed her that he loved her as a person and not for what she could do for him. It must have taken great courage for Marguerite to leave the life she had lived for so long, knowing all along that it was probably too good to be true and would not last indefinitely. And it also showed that Marguerite really loved Armand Duval for she could even change herself for him.

However, happiness didn’t last for long. When M. Duval, Armands father, came to her, pleading for her to leave Armand to save both Armands reputation and that of his younger innocent sister, Marguerite saw a way to become pure of heart, if not in body. She felt that it was her duty, because she loved Armand so much, to do this even though it meant giving up her own happiness and hurting Armand temporarily. She reluctantly returned to her former life, knowing that some day Armand would forgive her. Sadly, she died in debt and basically alone, except for her one female friend, Julie Duprat, who helped her during her illness. She had her journal sent to Armand after her death, explaining why she had made the choices she had. 我度过了快乐的一天。可是在我回家的路上，我开始替它们难过起来。人们把它们从父母和朋友身边捉走，它们一定感觉很孤单，我想。它们每天惟一可做的事就是等着人们来喂食。

Last year, I went to Guilin for travel. On the train, I felt so bored. A

girl who sat next to me was reading a book, which caught my attention. I asked

her about the book, I found that I had read it before and then we discussed

about the novel. We talked happily, when the train arrived, we got off together.

When we got aparted, we promised to keep in touch. We communicated by the

computer. Now a year has passed, we become good friends and I miss her all the

time. She is a genuine friend. I plan to go to Guilin again and then we will

meet.

This winter is freezing cold. I didn’t have any desire to go out for play.

I always stayed at home. Actually, most of the time I was in my bed. When I felt

anxious for staying inside too long, I will go near the window to wach the

children building snowman or throwing snowballs. It seemed very interesting. But

I just didn’t want to go out. Later my mother found that I was so lazy. Then she

forced me to go out. Since my mother said, I have no excuse to reject. My mother

is right. Though the outside was icy, it’s fantastic. Everything smells fresh.

Since then, I went outside everyday, and then did my homework and felt full of

energy. The holiday ended very soon. It was a lazy holiday.

Confidence is essential for everyone. Onlyestablishing confidence can we accomplish our goal. Nevertheless, many peopleespecially teenagers are lack of confidence. What a serious problem! How todevelop confidence?

Yesterday,I went to have a picnic with my old classmates.We dated with each other several days ago.And we were all expecting the days come. At last, the excited day came.
