我的梦想是当一名老师。每天给我可爱的学生讲生动有趣故事，让他们在玩耍中学习知识，让他们的童年充满乐趣，让他们的明天更加美好。

我的梦想是当一名慈善家，我会寻找更多有爱心的人，收集慈善基金。每当我看到贫困山区的孩子没有能力上学的时候，就觉得他们很可怜。我想用自己的爱心去帮助他们，让他们和我们一样，坐在温暖的教室里，认认真真听老师讲课。

我的梦想是当一名旅行者。我会到各个地方去旅行，结识各个地方的朋友。领略大自然的鬼斧神工，当一名中国现代的“徐霞客”。

我的梦想是当一名歌星。我很喜欢唱歌，在家里的时候，我就会唱歌，我更希望，在我长大以后，把我的歌声传到千家万户，传到每一个人的心里，到各地去开演唱会，同更多的人唱歌。

Wow, what a dream it has been for Martin Luther King. But the changing world seems telling me that people gradually get their dreams lost somehow in the process of growing up, and sometimes I personally find myself saying goodbye unconsciously to those distant childhood dreams.

However, we meed dreams. They nourish our spirit; they represent possibility even when we are dragged down by reality. They keep us going. Most successful people are dreamers as well as ordinary people who are not afraid to think big and dare to be great. Don’t let the nameless fear confuse the eye and confound our strong belief of future. Through our talents, through our wits, through our endurance and through our creativity, we will make it.

Hold fast to dreams, for if dreams die, life is a broken-winged bird that cannot fly. Hold fast to dreams, for when dreams go, life is a barren field frozen with snow. So my dear friends, think of your old and maybe dead dreams. Whatever it is, pick it up and make it alive from today.
