1990年前，人民商场，永利公司，朝阳商场，民族饭庄，天鹅饭店落成。相继又建成了购物中心，商贸大厦，百货大楼民x美食城，新世纪，利通商厦，怡园大酒店，广场……

这些都是最早的而且是最好的大楼。在那个时候，商贸大厦里面的生意特别红火，因此他们就赚了不少钱。可是，新世纪这座拔地而起的大厦一出现，就把商贸大厦比了下去，代替了当年红火的商贸。现在的大厦有些过时了，有些都不在了，举个例子来说吧：以前的人民商场，生意不好，就改修成信邦大楼。永利公司改修成文广商厦。朝阳商场正在装修中。利通商厦，现在是人人乐超市。不过我们吴忠又建设了电信大楼、工商银行、移动公司、仪表大楼，都是吴忠这两年新建的高建筑。

像现在的金星花园、朝阳小区、银塔小区、民生小区、裕西小区、永昌花园……都是以前的平房区，都有田地和土路。2002年，区政府为了繁荣市场经济，特引进外资，使义乌商城正在建设中。

今天我去外婆的家玩。我已经五年没去了。在我的印象里那就是个小山村。没有四轮车也没有宽敞的柏油路。而且也没有几户人家有电脑电视。我一到那里就脱离了科技总是很无聊。可是这一次这个小山村让我大吃一惊。这里开始盖起了别墅而且几乎每个人家里都有电视甚至是电脑。我很惊讶。我的外婆笑笑说，这是因为这几年的科技发展迅速，中国也越来越富裕的关系。我看着这些开心地笑了。

记得在家时我和小伙伴们提着小水桶在河里捉鱼、摸虾、搬螃蟹，玩得十分开心，笑声回荡在喧闹的河里，那是我仍记忆犹新的事。

夏天我们在水里打水仗，打水漂，河岸边垂着低落的树枝，河面上不时还咕噜咕噜冒出像珍珠一样的水泡。迎着傍晚的晚霞我们抬头看绚烂的晚霞，横卧在不远处天边的群山上。此时岸上一家家房顶上升起了袅袅炊烟。你看那挨挨挤挤的荷叶，互不相让，那荷花朵朵秀丽，姿态可见又各不相同，这朵也美丽那朵也漂亮，闻着它们都有淡淡清香，叫人美那个美得流连忘返……

那是以前快乐的童年时光，去年回家以后我发现了我们从前嬉戏的地方多了几座小桥，从这些我看出了家乡由西部开发政策带来的巨大变化，小河岸边那一排排老式的平房不见了。那些从前随处可见的垃圾不见了，每天环保工人定时前来清扫。那刺鼻的污水也被送进了污水处理站，再也没有排放到小河里了。那每天放学后可见的袅袅浓烟不见了。这是我回家后十分惊讶的。
