I live with my father and mother in a very big house in Dongguan. My parents are both very busy. They leave for work very early in the morning and don’t return home until late in the evening.

I have found that the more time I spend alone, the more comfortable I become in my own skin because I can truly get to know myself. This provides me with more patience to accept myself as I am, wherever I am in my journey, on a daily basis.

我发现独处的时间越长，我越觉得舒服、放松和自信，因为这样我可以认识真正的自己。这让我每天都有更多的耐心来接受自己，接受自己在生活旅途中的位置。

This lesson was something I learned after spending a summer alone in Italy with a family friend.

这堂人生课是我独自一人在意大利学到的，当时我在一位世交朋友家里度过了一个夏天。

I embarked on the journey, turning off my phone for the first time, well, probably ever. I would be jetting all over America then landing in a country with a family basically unknown to me.

我踏上旅途，第一次关上了手机，嗯，这么多年来第一次。我在美国上方飞来飞去，然后降落在一个国家，和一家基本上不认识的人生活在一起。

It wasn’t until two years after I returned that I wished I had spent more time living in the moment while experiencing the greatest adventure of my life. I was not comfortable enough in my own skin to truly be present in the magical moments presenting themselves in a foreign country.

直到我回来两年后，我才希望当时要是我能有更多的时间活在当下，经历人生中最大的冒险就好了。当时我不够放松、自信，无法在一个陌生的国家，在那样神奇的时刻，把它们展现出来。

My mind stayed distracted as I wondered what people were thinking of me, and what I would post online to my friends back home.

当我在想我在人们心中是什么样子，当我在想回家后我会在网上发布什么内容时我就会分神。

At 19 years old, it seemed much more important to capture photos to upload to social media. The Internet was a crutch for me to not feel so alone in an unknown territory. As brave as I was to be completely alone in my adventure, I had a thousand people to “connect” with on my lonely nights!

19岁时对我来说，拍摄照片并把它们传到社交媒体上要更为重要。互联网对我来说是个拐杖，能让我在未知的领域中不会感觉到那么孤独。和我独自一人冒险时一样勇敢，在孤独的夜晚，我有一千人可以去“交流”。

Two years later I realized that I could have filled my days with activities for growth.

两年后，我意识到，我可以用有助于自己成长的活动来填满日子。

I now wish I had traveled to nearby cities, spent my days reading in a cafe, tried acupuncture—anything out of the ordinary.

现在我希望我能游遍附近的城市，把时间用在在咖啡馆里阅读、尝试针灸——任何与众不同的东西上。

The truth was I didn’t have the hobbies I have now. The trip did help me grow, but I regret that I could not simply enjoy the moments, instead of wanting thousands of others to see I was enjoying them.

事实上，我现在的爱好以前都没有。旅行确实帮我成长，但我后悔当时我没能享受当下的时光，而是去让成千上万个人看着我在享受。

I discovered that if I want to be happy, it would be my own doing. Happiness is an interior process and comes without validation from others.

我发现如果我想要开心，那是我自己的事情。幸福是内心的过程，不需要得到别人的认可。

This is something that is a lesson to be relearned each day.

这是我每天都要再次重新学习的人生课。

Spending small moments of time alone—sans phone, tablet, laptop, TV, and radio—allows one to really tune in. We need to ask ourselves things like: What is my body telling me today? How do I feel today?

用碎片时间进行独处——关掉手机、平板电脑、笔记本、电视和收音机——允许自己真正地进行调整。我们需要问问自己：我的身体今天告诉我什么?今天感觉如何?

There are all kinds of things we can do to enjoy our alone time, some of them very simple. I enjoy my shower, my yoga practice, and the scenic drive home, all without communication to the exterior world. This helps me to really absorb my practice and just “be.” I find it helpful to journal, old fashion style, with a pen and paper after this little escape.

我们可以做很多事情来享受独处的时光，有些事情非常简单。我喜欢淋浴，喜欢瑜伽练习，喜欢在开车回家的路上看秀丽的风 景，这些都不需要和外部世界联系。这能帮我真正消化自己的所做所为，仅仅安静的待着。我发现在这种小小的消遣之后，用在纸上用笔写日记这样古老的方式很有帮助。

My campus life is rich and colorful.

The university life different secondary school life.And it is a problem that how should I adapt to college life.

I go to attend claeveryday morning excluding weekend .In the class I just listening to lectures, and my teachers and classmates discuss the problem.After  class, ofen i go to play basketball or badminton with my friends.

In the evening,i have two hours for study by oneself in scheduled time, and then go back to my dormitory and surf on the internet.At the weekend,i take part in some part-time jobs and go to the Einglish Corner sometimes.

All in all,life in the University is beatiful and substantial for me.And I believe I will achieve my self-value through  the university life .

我最讨厌的就是军训了，可是大学的那次军训却改变了我的想法。

但是军训的第一天，特别是站军姿，就改变了我之前的想法。尽管前两次都学过站军姿，但此次站军姿，我的动作依然不标准，依然坚持不久。一连几天站军姿，依然还得教官不断纠正：“右边肩膀后面一点，高一点，左边肩膀往前一点。”每天每次如此，时至今日，我每天最害怕的还是站军姿……

“站军姿是最基本的，是其它一切动作的基础。”教官说道。但是这最基本的站军姿，对我来说，却是最难的。由此我清楚自己必须纠正自己的态度，用端正的认真的态度来面对军训，并从军训中提升自己，无论是站军姿、队列训练还是锻炼耐心、意志、坚忍、团队精神等，用学习的积极的态度认真参与军训的每一项训练。

军训开始后才发现，其实军训并非如师兄师姐们所说那么轻松或无聊，虽然没有像初中、高中军训时那样站在烈日下曝晒，没有那么大的训练量，虽然练习的动作都很简单，但要让那么多人行动要像一个人一样的确定是件不易的事。一天军训下来，还是挺累的，特别是夏日炎炎，太阳好像要用全部的光和热融化这个世界，整个场地好像一个蒸笼，我们在这样的环境下纹丝不动站军姿，不厌其烦练枯燥而烦琐的动作，汗水像决堤的洪流，顺势直下，怎一个“挥汗如雨”了得!我们的衣服湿了又干，干了又湿，留下一圈又一圈的痕迹。汗水沿着脸颊一滴又一滴地滑下，热气充斥着我们的鼻翼。军姿已站了三十分钟了吧，脖子好酸，脚的刺痛感越来越清晰，教官说还有60秒，可是我数了好几次60了，为什么还不到时间，似乎一秒就有一个世纪那么长……但是值得欣慰的是，每一天站军姿都可以感觉到自己的进步，似乎可以坚持更长了……

尽管有点辛苦有点枯燥有点累有点烦，但每天还是过得挺开心的。在训练过程中，总有同学闹笑话，大家笑成一团。一到休息时间，同学们一起聊天、开玩笑、唱歌，或者教官跟我们谈起他的军营生活，这些都是我们的快乐时光。其实，我们的教官人很幽默，他不仅讲笑话给我们听，玩脑筋急转弯，而且还教我们唱歌，这使军训生活变得丰富精彩。教官不会那他的身份压我们，感觉还是挺可亲可爱可敬的!教官身上的好奇心、好学心也是值得我们学习的，总会好奇的摆弄单反相机，这些时候总会觉得他离我们很近，感觉不到一点架子。很庆幸也很感谢，谭教官挑了我们这个连并带领我们一起渡过15天的军训，谢谢!

通过军训，我们同学之间的友情更加深厚了，以前没有很多机会大家一起接触相处，在这个军训期间，我们分享身边的趣事，分享喜欢的书、电影，分享烦恼，分享各自的家乡话，一起吵吵闹闹，好像回到了少年时代。 尽管每天还是会数着军训还剩多少天，每天还是会想今天不用军训该多好，但是每天还是会认认真真地训练，过好军训的每一天。希望接下来军训的日子，大家都过得好好的，训练得像个兵似的，等待柳暗花明又一村的惊喜…

Which place we look forward to university, the number of students of senior three. University life, every high school students dream of want to experience. At least I was at that time. But, to be honest, the university for me at that time is a kind of imagination of good, but how, I want to now I didnt have a certain understanding to him.

In college, we wont have the teacher make the teachings and anticorrosive tireless explains. Wont have too many exercises and tests every day; Dont every day in order to score, ranking and anxious, upset... In the experience of college life this month, there is such a thing let me more impressive: in the first class of the university, there are two girl for a few minutes late, according to the habit of playing before the report into the classroom. But then the teacher said: "in the university, if you be late for class or something you want to leave early, you dont have to report, just quietly in and out from the back door, it is good to do not affect you..." After this, I also met in high school even dare not even think about other things. Can at any time in and out of the dormitory and the school, for example, because of the need to accomplish something to skip class, etc.

So, I concluded that university, is a completely on the process of consciously. If high school we or a chick, so we can say of university has been growing up, away from the shelter of parents, away from the teachers supervision, the rest of the only one to do the master of himself.

So, now we are going to manage themselves, their planning their beautiful university life, and ensure that the future can smile about their college life.

At the university of the second characteristic is to have more time and space, the university will have a class from 5 points to the dormitory in the morning until 10 PM back rest; Also wont because like to see a dream of red mansions but afraid to be the teacher found and hide things, and more importantly, there are all kinds of activities in the university for you to participate in and experience, and these are considered in high school is a waste of time. In fact, we can learn much knowledge from these things - and without the knowledge of the textbook, learned a lot of experience or lessons, learn from the university of rich and colorful...

So, I think, is more important than knowledge ability, and ability to training needs a process, the university is such a good process.

大学，多少高三学子向往的地方。大学生活，每一个高中生都梦寐以求的的想去体验一番。至少当时的我是这样。但是，说句实话，大学对那时的我来说只是一种想象中的美好，但究竟如何，我想现在的我才对他有一定的了解。

在大学，不会再有老师苦口婆心的教诲和防腐不知疲倦的讲解;不会有每天做不完的习题和试卷;也不会天天为了分数、名次而焦急、苦恼……在体验大学生活的这一个月中，有这样一件事让我印象比较深刻：在大学的第一堂课上，有两个女生迟到了几分钟，按照以前的习惯打报告进教室。但后来老师说：“在大学中，如果你上课迟到或者有事想要早退的话，你不用打报告，只需悄悄地从后门出入，不要影响大家就好……”在这以后，我也遇到过其他在高中甚至想都不敢想的事情。比如可以随时出入宿舍和校门，因需要完成某事要逃课等。

所以，我总结出：大学，是一个完全靠自觉的过程。如果高中的我们还是一只雏鸟，那么大学的我们可以说已经长大，远离了父母的庇护，远离了老师的督促，剩下的只有自己做自己的主人。

所以，现在的我们要自己管好自己，自己规划自己美好的大学生活，并自己保证今后能够笑着谈起自己的大学生活。

大学的第二个特点就是有更多的时间和空间，大学中绝不会有从早上5点出宿舍上课直到晚上10点才回去休息的情况;也不会因为喜欢看《红楼梦》但怕被老师发现而东躲西藏的事情，更重要的是，在大学里有各种各样的活动等着你去参加和体验，而这些在高中都被视为纯属浪费时间的事情。其实，从这些事情中我们也能学到许多知识——课本里并没有的知识，学到许多经验或是教训，学到大学的丰富多彩……

所以，我认为，比知识更重要的是能力，而能力地培养需要一个过程，大学则是这样一个很好的过程。
