1、信头(heading)

信头是指发信人的姓名(单位名称)、地址和日期，一般写在信纸的右上角。一般公函或商业信函的信纸上都印有单位或公司的名称、地址、电话号码等，因此就只需在信头下面的右边写上写信日期就可以了。

英文地址的写法与中文完全不同，地址的名称按从小到大的顺序：第一行写门牌号码和街名;第二行写县、市、省、州、邮编、国名;然后再写日期。标点符号一般在每一行的末尾都不用，但在每一行的之间，该用的还要用，例如在写日期的时候。

其中日期的写法，如1997年7月30日，英文为：july 30，1997(最为普遍);july 30th，1997;30th july，1997等。1997不可写成97。

其中在一般的社交信中，信内收信人的地址通常省略，但是在公务信函中不能。将收信人的姓名、地址等写在信头日期下方的左角上，要求与对信头的要求一样，不必再写日期。例如：

是写信人对收信人的称呼用语。位置在信内地址下方一、二行的地方，从该行的顶格写起，在称呼后面一般用逗号(英国式)，也可以用冒号(美国式)。

(1)写给亲人、亲戚和关系密切的朋友时，用dear或my dear再加上表示亲属关系的称呼或直称其名(这里指名字，不是姓氏)。例如：my dear father，dear tom等。

(2)写给公务上的信函用dear madam，dear sir或gentleman(gentlemen)。注意：dear纯属公务上往来的客气形式。gentlemen总是以复数形式出现，前不加dear，是dear sir的复数形式。

(3)写给收信人的信，也可用头衔、职位、职称、学位等再加姓氏或姓氏和名字。例如：dear prof. tim scales, dear dr.john smith。

4、正文(body of the letter)

位置在下面称呼语隔一行，是信的核心部分。因此要求正文层次分明、简单易懂。和中文信不同的是，正文中一般不用hello!(你好!)

正文有缩进式和齐头式两种。每段书信第一行的第一个字母稍微向右缩进些，通常以五个字母为宜，每段第二行从左面顶格写起，这就是缩进式。

但美国人写信各段落往往不用缩进式，用齐头式，即每一行都从左面顶格写起。商务信件大都采用齐头式的写法。

5、结束语(complimentary close)

在正文下面的一、二行处，从信纸的中间偏右处开始，第一个词开头要大写，句末用逗号。不同的对象，结束语的写法也不同。

(1)写给家人、亲戚，用your loving grandfather，lovingly yours，lovingly等;

(2)写给熟人、朋友，用yours cordially，yours affectionately等;

(3)写业务信函用truely yours(yours truely)，faithfully yours(yours faithfully)等;

(4)对上级、长辈用yours obediently(obediently yours)，yours respectfully(respectfully yours)等。

6、签名(signature)

低于结束语一至二行，从信纸中间偏右的地方开始，在结束语的正下方，在签完名字的下面还要有用打字机打出的名字，以便识别。职务、职称可打在名字的下面。当然，写给亲朋好友的信，就不必再打了。

7、附言(postscript)

如果一封信写完了，突然又想起遗漏的事情，这时用p.s.表示，再写上遗漏的话即可，要长话短说。通常在信末签名下面几行的左方，应于正文齐头。

注意：在正式的信函中，应避免使用附言。

8、附件(enclosure)

如果信件里面有附件，可在信纸的左下角，注上encl：或enc：，例如：encl：2 photos(内附两张照片)。如果福建附件不止一项，应写成encl：或encs。

我们有时可看到在称呼与正文之间有re：或subject：(事由)字样。一般在信纸的中间，也可与“称呼”对齐。还应在底下加横线，以引起读信人的注意，使收信人便于在读信之前就可了解信中的主要内容。事由一般在公务信函中使用，也可以省略。

我向往的，是不用闹钟就能按时起床，和好朋友们一起去锻炼，然后贪心地大大地吸一口清新的空气。暖暖的太阳抚摸我的脸，像向日葵般绚烂。

我向往的，是能够听到琅琅的读书声，中华语言最具魅力，平平仄仄平平，读起来饶有韵味。

我向往的，是大家能够坐在一起激烈的讨论问题，但不是像高中那样，空气中氤氲的是紧张的气氛，一切的一切只是为了升学，而是跟着兴趣去探索，也许也会像王羲之那样吃了加料馒头。

我向往的，是能够安静地坐在偌大的图书馆靠窗的位置，捧起一本本我爱的书籍，嗅一嗅那淡淡的墨香，每本书都看了一遍又一遍。天空中有一抹永远也挥之不去的蓝色，像深不见底的海水的颜色，红通通的太阳每天透过闪亮的玻璃窗照到我的脸上，然后慢慢地舒展开来，浸到整个屋子，像一株诡异生长的植物。

我向往的，是能够在饭后林荫小道上散步时，能听到爽朗的笑声，动听的歌声……这是，活力的声音。没有条条框框的束缚，校园里散发出的是青春的气息，惹得百花都争相齐放。

我向往的，是有好多大型的活动，舞台剧，飞扬新声，T台秀，义卖……每一次的活动都是锻炼我们的一个机会，我们不仅敢在舞台上说，还敢面对全世界说：这是我的时代由我给你未来，满腔的蒸气已在冒烟，我准备好要世界汗颜。

我向往的，是有一位和蔼可亲的小老头。位高权重，是主宰庞大学院的校长，但却平易近人，40岁的人，20岁的心，经常和我们闹在一块儿。他从不滥用私权，见到行贿的人能躲多远就躲多远，他总说那句岁月都蹉跎不掉的话：做人还是清廉点好。

我向往的，是有一群肯努力为教育事业奉献的老师，只要一根粉笔，一块黑板，就能传授知识，那些所谓的多媒体，会让知识失去原始的味道。他们是一群思想独立的老师，教师对他们来说不是职业，不是一种养家糊口的工具，而是用尽一生想去完成的事业。

我向往的，是有一群奋发向上的同学，他们从不拿家里一分钱，坚持自己打工赚学费;他们勤俭节约，从不浪费;他们才华横溢，却愿意当又苦又累的砖头工。他们不是家里穷困潦倒，只是觉得自己该有的担当;他们不是甘于平凡，只是牢牢记住了那句话：大学的学院教育不是为了求职，而是为了生活。

这就是我想要的大学生活，一个跟政治，跟歪风永远挂不上钩的自由的生活。

It has been two years since I first got to university. Some of my classmates say that the college life is boring, because they have plenty of time but do not know what to do. However, from my point of view, the campus life in college is interesting and colorful as long as you make it meaningful.

距我第一次去上大学已经两年了。我有的同学说大学生活很无聊，因为他们有很多时间却不知道做什么。但是，在我看来，只要你把它变得有意义，大学校园生活是有趣且丰富多彩的。

In the first semester in college, I didnt relax and I still worked hard as I was in the senior school. I usually spent two hours in study at night and I went to the classroom forautonomous learning.But the difference is that I have many extracurricular activities. For example, I went to the English Corner regularly on Tuesday night, in which I could practice my spoken English and make friends with common interests.

Besides, I join the Student Union of my department. In the Student Union, I have a group of workmates who work hard together and support to each other. Actually, it looks like a big, warm family that we can share our lives together. During various activities, I realize the importance of team spirit that helps us go further.

When we are born, we are unblemished. As we grow, we develop many complexities due to many influences in our lives. During childhood, we are repeatedly discouraged, chided, and in some cases, abused. As we grow older, we develop our own version of right and wrong. We create a world of our own.

We are complex emotional beings in nature compared to any other living animal.

Apparently, physical and psychological memories strongly influence our emotions! Interestingly, we can create, store, and release emotion like energy. Moreover, if we do not process our emotions properly and suppressed for long time, they can find a way out violently and unexpectedly.

Unfortunately, we carry our guilt throughout our lives effecting ever-increasing burden on our shoulders. We become heavy with guilt and anger for things we could or did not achieve, for things we cannot have, to cite few examples. Evidently, everyone carry his or her own sack of guilt and anger.

Importantly, since our guilt and anger inside us neither addressed nor given attention, they are stored. Actually, we should process and address our emotions in order to remove from our system. We cannot just wish them away.

Forgiveness stands first of all other natural remedies.

According to a recent Hurun report, among the rich worth more than 10million RMB, 14 percent either have already migrated or are applying for migration to a foreign country, and nearly half of them are considering joining the group. It is also said that China has become the largest emigration country in the world. US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), the number of Chinese applicants for investment immigration has exceeded applications from any other country or region.

So why do so many of the rich in China choose to move out? How will this country be affected by the so called “migration tide”.

Better education and robust law system are among what they are looking for overseas. China witnessed two migration tides before, one in the late70’s, another early 90’s.From these two, the nowadays migration differs in some aspects. The emigrants are no longer poor students only with a resolution to bring back to their motherland cutting edge science and technology overseas, instead they wave goodbyes to China taking with them substantial wealth and many of them are still top-notch intellectuals. It is almost certain that, from this perspective, emigration will undermine China on the way to her rise. However, in my perspective of view, this kind of migration will in some way make China much more influential in the world. The current western world still knows China too little, especially in terms of common citizens. Citing India for example, we can see a similar tide took place in India in the 60’s, which once drew attention and concerns in Indian government and society. Several decades later, these Indian emigrants still keep in bond with their motherland, and improve the image of Indians, thus lift the status of India in the world. So I expect Chinese emigrants will also contribute to China’s success in a different but profound way.

Migration tide this time indicates that China, who is on the way of great economy increase, still has more flaws to be perfected, when compared with some developed countries. But we needn’t worry too much. Maybe it’s not a bad thing when looking back several decades later.
