过年啦！过年啦！年夜饭当然是过年必不可少的了，在以前都是爸爸妈妈在做，今年我又大了一岁，我也要一起做年夜饭。

我跟妈妈分工明确，我做素菜，妈妈做荤菜。我做了顺滑美味的土豆泥，又香又脆的烤秋葵和香气扑鼻的山药炒芦笋。和妈妈做的菜加起来刚好八个，我做的三个菜有炒的，有蒸的，有烤的。其中，我最拿手也是最简单的一道菜，就是烤秋葵了。做烤秋葵很简单；第1步，把秋葵洗干净，不要去掉蒂沥干水分；第2步，把烤箱预热至180度，在烤盘上铺好锡纸；第三步，在烤盘上刷上一些油，把秋葵整齐的放上去；第4步，把剩余的油刷在秋葵上，再撒上一些盐和黑胡椒；第5步，放入烤箱中层烤15分钟。这样健康养生，美味可口的盐局秋葵就做好了，出炉后还可以根据个人口味放上别的酱料。

开始吃年夜饭了，爸爸妈妈吃了我做的菜都说很好吃，都夸我长大了，懂事了，我在快乐中吃完了2020的最后一餐饭。

第一步是炒青菜，爷爷已经帮我炒好了，他说：“下几步你就要自己完成了。”

第二步是和面，刚一开始我还做得不错，到了后来我就把面弄得满地都是，最后我终于和好了，但是地上、手上、面上、盆里都很脏。这时，爷爷给我讲和好面要盆光、手光、面光，听完我当场晕倒了。

The Chinese have specific way to celebrate their new year. If you walk down the street in Chinatown during Chinese New Year, you see a variety of ancient traditions such as red banners, firecrackers and lion dance performances, streets are filled with lively celebration.

However, legend has said that the new year has not always been a time of festivity. An Asian Chinese story told a chilly start to this festive holiday, it begins with an ancient Chinese beast called Nian.

Every New Year Nian would rise from swelling in the sea to ravage Chinese village in livestock and hurting people. The villages soon found out from a wise gray-haired old man that the only way to scare the beast away was to set off firecrackers and light lamps and to hang red banners on each door. As the story goes, this was the beginning of a tradition that would last thousands of years.

So this story leads to the creation of many of other traditions for celebrating Chinese New Year. lets take a look at some of these traditions.

Courage is very important. Everyone needs it. We will meet many

difficulties in our life and sometimes we will fail, but we can’t lose courage.

吃完饭后，我和哥哥姐姐一起给爷爷奶奶鞠躬拜年，哥哥对爷爷奶奶说：“祝您们身体健康，万事如意！”姐姐对爷爷奶奶说：“我祝您们二老生活安康，长命百岁！”我也不甘示弱，对爷爷奶奶说：“我祝您们福如东海，寿比南山！”爷爷奶奶听了我们说的话后笑的合不拢嘴，从身后掏出了几个红包给我们压岁钱，我们几个拿了钱以后欢天喜地地跑出去玩了，留下了几个顽皮的背影。

The first thing: tidy up a room (also called a cleaning). I want to put the

books in my house! Toys! Everything was done, so I started with my dad. Im

“猪年大吉！猪年大吉！”新的一年到来了，今年是猪年，大街小巷，到处都充满着过年的气氛。我注意到，几乎所有的地方都挂起了红灯笼。

今天是大年三十，人们最爱看的春节联欢晚会将在今晚20：00开幕。今天一整天我都怀着喜悦、激动的心情。因为今年我的亲弟弟（妹妹）就要出生了，我终于有伴可以玩了。

光阴似箭，日月如梭。一会儿就到19：00过后了，我和爸爸妈妈每个人都洗了个澡，换上新衣服，准备迎接新的一年。我打开电视机，准备观看联欢晚会。正好20：00了，我们一家人津津有味的观看联欢晚会。不过，刚开始的联欢晚会还没那么好看，只是一些舞蹈，但我们还是目不转睛的看着。在现场的主持人给电视机前的人们送上了温馨的祝福。

几个节目演完后，人们最喜爱的环节《小品》来了。里面的演员演得太精彩了，逗得大家哈哈大笑。我和爸爸妈妈当然也不例外，笑得前仰后合。这些演员不仅演得好，甚至连表情都演得很到位。我心里不禁对他们产生了一种敬佩。

又过了几个节目，就到了孩子们最喜欢观看的环节“变魔术”。这次又是最会变魔术的人——刘谦带给大家的魔术表演。这也太神奇了吧！刘谦竟然用一个空壶倒出了各种饮料，真是奇迹啊！在场的所有观众都惊呆了，我也不例外，嘴巴始终保持着“O”形。刘谦的魔术真是又神奇又有趣啊！

时间过得真快！一眨眼就已经是24点过后了，联欢晚会也该结束了。主持人送给大家最后美好的祝福，紧接着晚会就结束了，我也该睡觉去了……

第二天——大年初一。我跟着爸爸到亲戚家拜年。每拜完一家，我都收获了一个红包，直至太阳从西边落下时，我们已经拜完年了，红包已经塞满了我的口袋。我便把所有的红包都给爸爸保管了……

今年又是新的一年，我希望我自己能有所改变，比前一年更成熟，更懂事。在这里，我祝福大家万事如意，幸福安康！
