Christmas arouses increasing attention year by year in China. Christmas cards become popular with students. People hold Christmas parties and exchange Christmas girts. A lot or TV and radio programs about Christmas are on. Meanwhile the Spring Festival is less appealing (有吸引力的)to youngsters. Thus some people wonder whether Christmas will replace the Spring Festival.

This worry is fairly unnecessary. Why ? One reason lies that Christmas only affects Christians，college students and joint-venture (合资企业)workers. Another reason is that Christmas is mostly celebrated in cities. Few people in countryside show extreme interest in this exotic(带有异国情调的) festival. By contrast，the Spring Festival is the most influential traditional festival in every family.

I think，it is natural that with increasing exchanges with the West，a lot of Western holidays have been gradually introduced into China. For us Chinese we should never neglect or even discard our own traditional festivals. For centuries Chinese have observed this traditional holiday to welcome the beginning of a new year. And we will treasure the Spring Festival forever.

今天是正月初一，又到了新年。转眼，一年这样忽悠地过去了，又到了一年春柳绿，到处春暖花开，张灯结彩，每个角落里都充满年味。

记得，小时侯过年多是和小伙伴在一起，可有趣了。许多小孩聚在空场上放鞭炮。那时我们我们小孩没钱，只是从大人那央求一点——咳，少的可怜——但我们还是很高兴。我们用这些钱买几个鞭炮，把它视若珍宝，都不舍得放。“你先放”“不行，你的多，你先放。不信，我搜身，搜出来是我的.”“那不行.要不咱俩猜拳，谁输了谁先放.”俩人猜完后，输的那个不情愿的掏出一个放了.

现在回想起来，那时可真有趣，也挺向往的——无忧无虑，多好啊！

等到长大了，十四五岁时，过年的趣事就数走亲访友了.许多人在一起，可热闹了.今天，我们去外婆家.中午，舅舅让我陪客，这可让我丈二和尚——摸不着头脑.我从来没有陪客，更不懂什么规矩，只听说多说好话.本着这唯一的筹码，我答应了.

开始吃饭了，我有些紧张，想退缩，但最后鼓足勇气，开始倒“酒”举起杯，道：“新年新气象，愿大家在新年里事事顺心走鸿运！”说着，大家都不约而同的举起杯.我的杯子跑到了上面.这时爸爸开口了：“小辈给长辈敬酒，杯子应该放在下面.”嘿嘿，瞧这到处都能长知识.后面我又闹出不少笑话，整个房间里欢声笑语，其乐融融.

伴随着一阵阵欢笑，我在心里默默祝福全家吉祥如意.

一年就这样过去了，一年又这样来了.然而我知道，无论世事如何，我的身边不乏亲情，不缺友谊.我将伴着一切步子走的更高更远.

The Lunar New Year

The Lunar New Year is a great occasion to the Chinese people. It lasts about the first four days of the year， during which people do not work except for the workers on duty. Students do not go to school， and shops are closed.

Several days before the new year， people begin to prepare. Farmers kill pigs， sheep， cocks and hens. City dwellers buy meat fish and vegetables. Houses are cleaned; coupletsare posted on the doors. Colourful lanterns are hung at the gate.

On the eve of the new year， each family has its members gatherd together and eats a family reunion dinner. After the meal they watch TV until the clock strickes twelve. Then every family sets off long strings of small firecrackers and other fire works to welcome the new year. On the first day of the new year， almost everyone is dressed in his or her best. When people meet on the way， they say to each other "Happy New Year". Friends and relatives pay new year calls and gives presents to each other. Children indulge themselves in games.

Speaking of the Spring Festival, I had a dont have a taste, and the fun is also continuously. It is like rainbow dream, like exquisite pearl, make the person yearn to make people yearning. Before the Spring Festival, people all beaming, all in high spirit. The street people mountain

Sea, some of them are buying New Year pictures, some are buying necessities. This not, to the Spring Festival, is permeated with a festive atmosphere everywhere! See every family decorated, door with Spring Festival couplets, relatives get together for the family reunion dinner, bless each other. At this moment, everyone is looking forward to the night arrived. "Or..." In the firecrackers, people play a very beautiful fireworks,. 说起这个春节，我过得别有一番滋味，而趣事也是源源不断地来。它像五彩斑斓的梦，像玲珑剔透的珍珠，使人留恋，使人向往。在春节前，人们个个喜气洋洋，个个精神饱满。街上人山

人海，他们有的在买年画，有的在买年货。这不，春节到了，到处洋溢着一派喜庆的气氛!只见家家户户张灯结彩，门前贴着春联，亲戚们聚在一起吃团圆饭，互相祝福。这时，所有人都期盼的夜晚到来了。“噼里啪啦……”在鞭炮声中，人们都玩上了一种十分漂亮的焰火，。它是一种在手中玩的烟花，点燃后，一簇簇火花轻轻的跳跃着，并不断变换颜色，慢慢舞动，一朵极其美丽的礼花映入我的眼帘，绿色的点儿绽放开来，艳丽夺目。满天的礼花，有红的，黄的，绿的……它们落下的“花瓣”好像流星一样划过，消失在天空中，它们为天空增添了生机，将夜幕点缀的如同百花园一般千姿百态。

The Spring Festival is very important to Chinese people. In the past,people could not often have meat,rice or other delicious food. They could only eat these during the Spring festival. So every year they hoped that the Spring Festival would come soon. Now, although people‘s life is much better,and we can eat the delicious foods everyday. People still like the festival. Because most people can have a long holiday,and we are free to go on a trip or visit our friends or have parties with our family. In the evenings,we can have a big meal in the restaurant or stay at home with family and watch the TV programs.

I like the Spring Festival very much. How wonderful the Spring Festival is！

“春节到，春节到，美食也来到......”你猜我在干什么？哈哈，我在品尝美食呢！

春节是中国的传统节日，也是孩子们一年中最快乐的几天。这几天，孩子们不仅能收到许多压岁钱，还可以睡懒觉，但对于我来说，美食才是最重要的。

美食1号：锅包肉

美味指数：三颗星

说起锅包肉，可是奶奶的拿手好戏。奶奶做的锅包肉，色，香，味俱全，一闻那香味，准能把你的馋虫勾起来。一进门，菜香扑面而来“啊，奶奶，你一定又做了锅包肉。太好了！”我和妹妹边“扑”过来边说，急忙拿起筷子“抢”起美食来。别人还没上桌，锅包肉已被我和妹妹“消灭”一小半了。你说它能不好吃吗?

美食2号：春卷

美味指数：四颗星

“春卷好了，谁吃？”“我要——”我和妹妹异口同声地“叫”着，一馅边擦去锅包肉的酱汁，一边吃着松脆的春卷，那叫一个享受呀!

美食3号:饺子

美味指数：六颗星

年三十，饺子是必不可少的美食。而且年三十的饺子和以往的饺子不同，年三十的饺子放巧克力糖或大枣，吃到这两样的人明年会有好运气。我和妹妹自然又要大开“吃”戒喽!我专攻白菜萝卜馅的,妹妹专攻韭菜鸡蛋馅的。

最后的结果当然是我和妹妹摸着圆鼓鼓的肚子下了桌，搜索餐桌下的美食——小零食呗!
