the summer camp is a really good chance for me. i know the local things in england. i learned a lot and like english more. i also know better ways to learn english well.

This July I graduated from primary school. I was enrolled to a good middle school. Therefore I had a happy and leisure summer holiday. In the middle of July I attended to a summer camp. 中学的英语夏令营活动是由来自山西的3名大学生志愿者主持，由本校3名优秀英语教师辅助开展的。这种”1+1”的合作模式有利于优化课程设计，使课程更贴近学生的实际，为此次活动的顺利开展奠定了良好的基础。此次活动的主体是中学初中的百位优秀学生。来自不同年级的学生随机混合组成三个班，这样有利于实施以学生为中心的教学法，使学生相互学习，共同进步。

此次活动的课程设计是由志愿者和本校的教师参考美中教育机构提供的模板，根据当地实际情况精心设计的。志愿者和教师对课程内容灵活操作，将玩与学有机结合，寓教于乐。主体内容有意在提高英语听说读写能力的各种游戏如hot potato、who am i等和意在提高团队凝聚力的music chair、english song等。还有涉及英美文化、利用手势突破发音。此外，老师们还放映了适合初中英语学习的英文电影。志愿者还利用准备的材料和自身特长教给了孩子们一些英语歌曲和舞蹈。总之，此次活动的内容丰富，形式多样，满足了初中生的发展需求。

7月25日---8月3日，XX中学组织2014级高一新生80人在XX工商职业技术学院内开展为期10天的夏令营活动，根据活动安排，我负责对学生进行英语学法指导，根据新生特点，我提前制定了教学计划、教学目标。本次参加夏令营的学生为高一年级排名靠前的新生，为培养他们良好的学习习惯，坚强的学习意志，迅速适应高中学习，将来把他们打造成为品学兼优的尖子生。学生们的中考成绩虽然较好，但是英语综合运用语言的能力还很差，一到高一就会迅速滑坡，因此上好初高中的衔接课至关重要。

为使学生了解高中英语学习特点，在四节指导课中我以写作指导贯穿始终，通过听说读写训练，开阔视野，激发英语学习兴趣。通过语言实践，培养学生运用语言的能力，并运用已知的语法知识发现错误，纠正错误。帮助他们树立信心，从容应对新学期，新学习，新挑战。引导学生运用英语进行交流，写作，并且有意识的进行自我修正，培养发现问题，分析问题，解决问题以及自主学习的能力。

4节课内容初步安排如下：

第一节课

听说训练:以新学期，新环境为主题，师生互动，相互了解，鼓励学生大胆开口用英语进行交流，教师适时提供句型表达使交流内容丰满。

第二节课

说写训练：以新环境为主题，让学生了解修文及修文中学的概况，和学生一起讨论描述地点的有用表达，引导学生写一篇介绍修文中学的短文。

写后任务：

将写作评价表(自我评价和同伴评价)发给学生，指导如何进行评价，要求第二天交。

第三节课

短文改错解题指导。结合学生写的文章，找出常犯的错误，提前打印好有语病的句子，共同分析错误原因。

第四节课(讲座)

英语书面表达要注意的几个问题(主要结合高考评卷中反映出的学生答题出现的突出问题，提出平时学生在书面表达训练中应该强化训练的方向，应该积累的知识等等)

四节课的指导收到了较好的效果，学生从不愿意开口讲英语到能够比较积极的参与课堂活动，能够比较认真的完成布置的任务，大部分学生英语写作能力较好。

但是，在教学中也暴露出了他们的一些不足：

1. 学习的主动性和积极性还有待大大提高，良好的学习习惯还有待养成。比如在课堂上教师所讲的内容大部份学生还没有形成及时记笔记的习惯，老师提醒记下来才动笔，没有记完全的内容课后也不会找其他同学的笔记补充完整;老师要求上交的学习任务只有一半的学生能够按照规定时间上交，其余的是拖延一天才完成，学习上的紧迫感和竞争意识不强。

2.自主学习能力和合作学习需要花很大功夫培养。可能因为初中的学习多数时间都是在完成老师的任务，按照老师的要求做，很少有自己的“主见”，所以遇到放手自己安排学习和同伴合作时就无所适从，做得很不好。而到了高中学习阶段，这两方面的能力不能大幅度提高的话，学习的效果不会太好。

3.课外知识严重匮乏。主要体现在老师问到很多常识绝大多数学生都不知道。以往的学习还是只停留在书本知识上，可见有用的课外书的阅读量太少，知识面太窄。

这些不足将会严重影响他们今后学习迅速的提高，在今后的教学当中要针对性的，有目的的进行训练，要想又快又好的出成绩，老师的任务任重道远。

On Saturday, we went camping, with our teachers. First we pitched the tent. then our older brothers and older sisters played game with us. At noon, we all had a delicious lunch followed by a barbecue for dinner. At night, we had bonfire and sang and danced. We didn’t sleep until 10:20 at night. But some of the boys were so noisy we couldn＇t fall alseep. I only slept for three hours. the next morning, everybody woke up very early. After exercising in the morning, we all went to see the small pigs. On the way there, we saw a lot of geese. At 10:00, we went back to eat ice cream. It was so cold. then, we all played games together. We ate lunch at 12:00. In the afternoon, we played musical instruments and sang. After that, camp was over. We had a lot of fun at the summer camp. 总而言之，言而总之，这是一个即充实的一天，也是快乐的一天。

一向幼稚的我，一直以为外教是非常严肃，非常凶的那种，一副死气沉沉的样子，还会随手拿着木棒，哪个学生不乖，一棍子打下去，听不见任何声音。这使我心里颇不宁静。要是有的问题我答不出那该怎么办呢?

因为我的英语成绩不怎么样，所以妈妈要我去参加“英语村暑假夏令营”让我提高英语水平。可是自从我见到外教后，我感觉，外教不但不凶，不坏。而且脸上表情丰富。嘴里说出来的话自然是幽默风趣。让我不得不佩服他们。

外教的课分种：正经课，做活动。

正经课：

就是正常上课，一般，他们都会教我们课本里的东西，什么方位介词：on in under next to in front of ……有时候他们觉得上课改上的内容都上完了，但是还有时间，他们决不像中国教师那样让我们自己休息。而是教我们其他的单词。这样一来，即能不浪费我们的时间，而且还能丰富我们的英语，一举两得。

做活动：

英语暑假夏令营还特别安排了一个外教活动课，就是跳跳绳只类的活动。有一次的活动是跳长绳很过长绳。我们大家都不会，英语老师先来，因为她很肥，所以跑过去，扑，摔了一跤。但是，她一点不计较，而且很开心，让我们也来。很好玩的。

上了2个星期，我已经深深地感受到了外国教师的魅力，他们的幽默风趣诙谐，他们使我学会了标准的发音英语，也让我开朗了许多。

At the beginning of the activity, I didnt get used to it. There were some rules, such as etiquette and daily life......All specifications.On a flat day, it would be impossible for me to get up at half past five in the morning, but it was necessary to get up early and early in the morning at seven and eight, and the song that the teacher played was enough to get you off the bed.Although I was tired, want to sleep a little longer, but I dont want to lose face, so that the whole group of my people.At home I never fold the quilt, also had to copy the stack up, I dont want to be humiliated!So I try my best to do my best.

As the saying goes, "the early bird catches the worm," but I get up early without food.The teacher first led us to study in the classroom, and then climb the mountain, strong physique, and accept the blessings of the essence of finland.Walk, see the monkey in knots, alive and kicking climb over, the teacher said this is a wild zoo, but only naughty cute monkey!After breakfast, I read more books, no force no mouth parched and tongue scorched, heart, hungry purring, really "people drinking water, lengnuanzizhi non personal experience, it is difficult to imagine.I can do so many things before eight in the morning, I usually get up late to teach good students surprised, so we should cherish the time.Because of the early relationship, then the sleepy bird found me again, sleepy me, "I did not understand," Alas!What a sleepy early bird!

七月底，三门中学组织了为期七天的英语夏令营，我非常有幸参加了此次活动。这是一次有外教老师任教的夏令营，也是我第一次参加“与美国老师的零距离接触”的夏令营。

本次参加活动的对象有小学、初中及高中的同学，我被分在小学一班，我们班共有15名同学，配有一名外教老师和一名助教。

幽默的外教老师

我按我们名单顺序坐在了座位上，好奇地寻找我的夏令营老师。终于在人群中看到外教老师的庐山真面目。只见他大约一米九的高个，雪白的脸上有着一双蓝色的大眼睛，一张小巧的嘴巴，金黄色的小型爆炸头看起来充满喜感。

我们的外教老师很“皮”，课上到一半，突然一个人先跑出去。再做一个跟上我的手势，大家站起来紧跟着外教老师。老师用食指放在嘴上“嘘”了一声，示意让我们先蹲着轻轻地走，不要发出声音，不要被隔壁班的同学发现。为了脚步一致，老师让我们在心里叫“3，2，1”。隔壁教室的同学只听到一声巨响，一个个吓得鬼哭狼嚎、惊慌失措……哈哈哈，原来是老师带我们去做恶作剧，15个学生一起用手拍隔壁教室的窗户。没想到我们刚回到教室坐下来，刚刚被拍的那个教室的同学也反攻了一次，过来不停地拍我们教室的窗户。

外教老师上课真特别，可是我们的英语水平不高，不能和外教老师很好地沟通。为了减少距离，本次夏令营采用了体演教学法的模式，体就是利用肢体语言让对方体会的意思，演就是表演的意思。我们一边说几个熟悉的英语单词，一边做手势，这样的交流方式虽累，但挺有意思的，特别是有些同学和老师的夸张的动作，让人捧腹大笑。

有趣的橄榄球

那天下午，我们玩了橄榄球，据说是美国很受欢迎的一种球类，长椭圆形，原来是以橄榄的形状命名的。我们玩了有趣的游戏——“猴子捞月”，它的规则就是一个人当猴子，其他人当丢球的人，如果丢的球被猴子接住了，丢球的人则变成猴子。

开始游戏了。首次的猴子由外教老师自告奋勇地扮演，老师还幽默地做了一下孙悟空的招牌动作，我们哄堂大笑。大家都互相丢球，可是出师不利，我们中有个女生抛出去的球被老师接住了，于是她变成了猴子。这让我们更加小心，男生组的几个男生也过来相助，通过男生们的默契配合，把这两只猴子累坏，……同学们情绪高涨，校园里充满了欢声笑语……

外国的教学方法很特别，他们提倡在玩中学，学中乐，而国内的教学相对来说有点枯燥，学习压力也比较大，难怪近些年各种外教夏令营很受人关注。

Dear Sir or Madame Im very glad to be invited to the English summer camp. I prefer to go in July because Ill have to prepare myself for the new school term in August. It seems all the activities you offer are attractive and meaningful. But Id like to attend the English lectures from which I can get more information on British and American culture. With the coming of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games more and more foreigners are eager to know about China. So I hope to teach foreigners Chinese and spread Chinese culture. Its been a dream for me to visit Beijing. Could you organize a tour around the city during the camp? Thank you very much.
