Apart from her striking looks and wide range of hobbies, Jane has an outstanding performance at her studies. She is ambitious and aggressive. She aims really high. And we all believe that she is always a pride for her family, friends and teachers.

记得有一次，我的妈妈上街去买衣服。她出门的时候带了500元钱。因为我的妈妈常常不舍得花钱为自己买衣服，所以经常空手而归。而这一次，她出门前信誓旦旦地说：“我一定要买几件好衣服回来，贵也没事，我不管那么多了。”可是，我却还是从妈妈的眼神中，看出了不坚定。“也许妈妈这一次还是买不回来吧。”我在心里默默的想着。果然，她还是没有买衣服。这次，我可以从妈妈描述衣服有多么多么漂亮的语言中，从她那神采飞扬的表情中，从她赞赏的语气中，看出了她对那件羽绒服的喜爱。

即使她如此喜爱这件羽绒服，还是没把它买下来。妈妈两手拎着一大堆饭、菜和生活用品回来了。我知道，她是不舍得买衣服，她心中惦念的，还是这个家。妈妈是教师，她的学校开学了。她每天早上7：00的时候就要去学校上课，而中午12：00时才能到家。中午一点休息时间也没有，1：20又走了。晚上还得加班，经常到6：00多才能回来。整日的操劳使妈妈的颈椎病又犯了，一低头，就是一阵疼痛。尽管爸爸整天冷嘲热讽，想劝她休息，她仍是默默的备课，写教案，做材料装盒。一天，我早已睡熟，却不知为什么，我突然惊醒。我揉揉眼睛，我打了个哈欠，正想继续睡。突然，妈妈竟还坐在桌前，低头挥笔，刷刷的写着、写着。我刚想劝她睡下，到了嘴边的话却又咽了下去，眼泪糊住了我的眼睛……

在星期日的时候，我独自一个在家。想到妈妈以前辛苦持家的点点滴滴，我就觉得，我应该为妈妈做一些什么。于是，我就拿起水壶烧了一壶水，又泡了一杯茶，等妈妈回来。一会儿，我听到了轻轻的敲门声，知道是妈妈回来了。我赶紧端起茶杯，为妈妈开了门。妈妈一进门，刚要说话，我就将茶端了上去。妈妈竟一时感动的说不出话来。想到妈妈平日里为我做了那么多，我没有感动。而我只是为妈妈泡了一杯茶，妈妈就感动的说不出话来。我心里油然生出一种愧疚之情。

在晚上的时候，我的妈妈给我做了很多我最爱吃的杏仁茶和杏仁碗坨。想到妈妈穿着高跟鞋在大街上奔波了一天的时候，那腿一定很酸，脚也很痛。但是我的妈妈还坚持给我做工序纷繁复杂的食物，此时的我的泪水又一次忍不住掉了下来……

家乡有时是幅美丽动人的画卷，也是一本书，当你又想起家乡，就翻开书看一看。

我的家乡，虽说不是什么大城市，可我的家乡——温岭市一个很美的地方，有不少外国人也来到我的家乡玩过。我的母校城西小学是一座美丽的校园，每天早晨都会有琅琅的读书声传进到你的耳朵。

家乡有一个有名的湖泊—九龙湖。它虽然没有西湖那么有名，可比西湖热闹多，每次国庆节，我们全家和我的好朋友一起去九龙湖烧烤，大家在一起有说有笑。玩累了就坐在椅子上欣赏湖面上的风景。

还有一个地方，它就是银泰城，里面有数不尽的商品，刚进门口就会感觉像是到了天堂。银泰城有时会搞一个活动。

我的家乡—温岭是天堂。家乡的风景真没，但是比不过人的心灵美。

记得有一次，外婆来我家过生日，村里人知道后，纷纷跑过来给外婆送祝福，有一个外地人特地买了礼物给外婆，当外婆向他道谢时，他便说：“老太太，您年级大了，这礼物送给您，祝您身体健康、外事如意!”说完，转身就走，外婆自言自语：“这小伙子真有趣，送一句祝福就行了，还送什么礼物，乱花钱。”我听了，知道我I阿婆嘴上这么说，其实心里已经觉得很欣慰了。

第二天，我和朋友去玩，回家的路上，我看到了那个外地人坐在家门口画画。我又去打听那个外地人的生活处境，终于在一个烧烤摊上打听到他姓王，今年三十一岁，家中靠他和他妻子打工赚钱，他没有工作，只有靠画画来赚钱。
