我们家虽然贫穷，但是母亲的善良、勤劳一直影响着我的人生！6岁那年，妈妈去赶集，中午该吃饭的时间还没有回来，邻居幺婆叫我到她家吃饭，因为害羞，我拒绝了她的邀请，也因为经常在母亲身边，所以自己在家做起了稀饭。

从此学会了自己做饭。7、8岁的时候，住在山梁上的何叔叔一人来推磨，母亲就叫我为何叔叔添磨（农村人家户的石料手工磨：一人添磨，一到三人拉磨）。从此，类似的农活，我总是帮着邻居们乐呵呵地干着。

因为经常帮助大家，也赢得了那娃儿“勤快”的赞誉。80年代初，农村土地承包到户，我经常帮助家里干农活：或割猪草，或种麦子，或收庄稼，或插秧等等，反正农村的农活，我基本都会。

种地，让我明白了“土能生金”、“人勤地不懒”的道理。我的婆婆，年老时本因半身不遂，身体就不好，后来因为大腿骨折，未及时医治，到离世时一直瘫痪在床，母亲总是为祖母做饭、檫洗身子、更换衣服，我看在眼里，记在心里，有时候也帮着倒下便桶什么的。

母亲对祖母的付出，让我明白了“尊敬老人、孝敬老人”不是一句空话。母亲60岁的时候，为了念经诵佛，她总是叫我和儿子教她识字。她习惯性地很早起床，先为大家做早餐，然后看书，不认识的字就做好记号，一有时间就叫我或是儿子教她。三四年下来，母亲便可以独立诵读经文了。

从母亲识字、念经诵佛的经历中，我更加明白了“有志者事竟成”的做人道理。那些年中，母亲还自制药酒，治病救人，别人有钱就给，没有钱就完全做好事。母亲那些事太多了！“父母善做，子女善学”，是他带给我的最美好的家庭教育思想；“为善向上，友爱互助”是她向世人传播的一种时代精神。

今天我创办快乐书院，就是想把母亲“为善向上，友爱互助”这一时代精神传播开去；把“父母善做，子女善学”这一家庭教育思想传播开去！

好文化靠精神传承，好教育是榜样散发的力量！近来，我总是默默地在心理向母亲鞠躬，感谢她成就我的人生。
