I live with my father and mother in a very big house in dongguan. My parents are both very busy. They leave for work very early in the morning and don’t return home until late in the evening.

寒假生活

在寒假里，我做了一次小手术，虽然是小手术，但发生在自己的身上，也实实在在的疼。

寒假的一天，妈妈说：“你脖子上的大疙瘩很长时间没有消，我们得去看医生，或许得把它割掉。”我一听，吓得魂飞魄散，腿脚发软，浑身哆嗦出虚汗，如同变成了一滩泥“我不去，我不去……我哭着、嚷着……”。妈妈赶忙安慰“或许不是什么坏东西，不用割掉呢。不怕不怕。”我这才放松一点，心惊胆战的跟妈妈走出家门。

到了医院一检查，医生说：“可能是淋巴结炎，不知好坏，不能留它，得做掉，明天来做也行。”我悬在半空的心终于落下来了，可是，没想到，妈妈却说：“假期不长了，赶快做掉吧，迟早的事，赶早不赶晚。”又跟医生商量了一下，医生说：“好吧，一会儿就做。”顿时，我那不争气的泪珠就滚落下来。

进了手术室，躺在床上，等待做手术，我心提到了嗓子眼，妈妈等在外面，因为不让她进来，只能在外面干着急等着。开始做了，虽说手术不大，还是用两个人来做。

如今，放假已有好几个周了，可是回忆起来，这个寒假我到底做了些什么呢?想到了什么?感悟到了什么?难道就是每天除了写作业，或者与几个知心朋友出去疯玩一阵。可是，回过头来想想，就是我天天在电视或电脑上虚度光阴，是多么的傻。想必大家曾经都有这样的感悟

放下鼠标，才觉得自己已经荒废已久了。

的确，这几天无非就是玩游戏串亲戚，甚至连作文都懒得写。开始想写作业啦，笔又不知道放在哪里了，想去买笔，又觉得太麻烦，不想出来，只想窝在家里。当终于下定决心去买的时候，天色早已晚了。于是，动手又拿起鼠标，开始了无聊的游戏，一遍又一遍玩着，用游戏来麻醉自己，消磨时间。呵!干笑一声，突然觉得暑假寒假都好矛盾，上学时想放假，到放假的时候，又不知道该做些什么。前段日子还差不多，天天去公司写作业和去补英语，现在回想起来，还真是怀念啊!那时候的日子真快活，而作业也是飞速增长。

可现在呢!天天窝在家里玩游戏。

其实我觉得，寒假不仅仅是为了让我们放松，我们应该要做更有意义的事，让我们的寒假生活变得更加精彩，更加有意义，你说难道不是吗?

关于书的名言警句，多的三天三夜都说不完。由此可见，书对人类的帮助是巨大的。而古人从前早就知道读书对人的帮助。

阅读可以让我了解更广阔的天地；可以不用出门就知道天下事；可增长知识，使你在和朋友谈时，有话可说。在当今社会上一个人如果什么都不知道，出去旅游和朋友交谈自己什么都不知道，这会有多么的不便呀。

每天做完作业我都要翻开课外书，如饥似渴的去阅读。阅读着一个个有趣的故事，感受着每一个动人的情节，欣赏着每一个优美的段落，并与书中的主人公同喜同悲，同呼吸，共命运。

一天的学习累了，看一本幽默的漫画，让自己开心一点，觉得自己很愉快。看一本世界名著，提高自己的写作水平，让自己彻底解开不会写作的烦恼。无聊的时候，还可以看看烹饪，制作礼品，花卉等书，陶冶一下情操。做点小东西，送给爸爸妈妈、同学和朋友，让大家看看我的“成果”。

俗话说：“读万卷书，行万里路”，从这句话中可以体会到读书可以带你进入各国的文化习俗和风土人情。读书可以带你进入到五彩缤纷的世界。

许多的书如《苦儿流浪记》、《海蒂》、《简爱》、《母亲》和《海底两万里》等等，我已经看完了。我还会继续读各种不同种类的书。是读书丰富了我的生活，是读书让我的生活变得更加充实、愉快。

读中国和外国的历史可以增长自己的见解；读别人所写的自传中可以了解一个人想要获得成功，必须付出一定的努力，只有付出才会有回报，才会有收获。读书是一个终身学习的过程，通过读书，我们收获了知识、结识了朋友、开阔了视野。通过读书我们认识了一个能翻跟头的悟空，正直的武松，聪明绝顶的诸葛亮，弱不禁风的林黛玉……

书真是一个奇妙的东西。他带我们遨游美丽的大河山川，带我们进入一个五彩纷呈的仙境，让我们陶醉其中。

读书可以使人增长文化、修养、智慧和内涵；可以使自己的生活变得很充实、愉快和轻松。所以大家广泛阅读吧！

My teacher gave me an assignment "experience life" last week. I had been thinking how to finish it because I had never done any thing by myself before.

Mother was out today. It was a good chance to complete the assignment. Seeing the barrel was empty, I decided to fetch water from the well.

I took the empty barrel and went towards the well outside the yard. It snowed yesterday, so the alley was very slippery. A layer of thickice was frozen on the platform of the well. I was frightened by the sight, but I gathered my courage to walk towards it.

The alley was so slippery that I walked with difficultly. Suddenly, I slipped and fell down, water in the barrel totally poured down on the ground. I stepped on the platform carefully. After standing steadily and squatting down slowly, I hooked the barrel at the end of the rope and put the rope down slowly. I made an effort to drag the barrel up after it was filled with water. I was very careful because it was easy to slip and fall. Then, I carried the barrel of water and returned to my house. My figners were frozen stiff. I realized my effort was in vain. I hated myself.

I failed to finish the assignment but I did experience life through a trifle which seemed easy but difficult to do well. Such was my first experience of life.
