我有一只小猫，它的名字叫作喵喵。

喵喵长得可爱极了！它有一双黑溜溜的大眼睛，长着八字胡，一个胖嘟嘟的身子，裹着白色的绒毛。

吃饭时，喵喵就像几年没吃过饭似的，可着急了。猫碗里装着几条鱼和一些猫粮，它跳到猫碗旁，张大嘴巴，露出峰利的牙齿，直接就把脸扑到碗里去了。它快速地扫荡完美食不说，还不忘用舌头舔干净嘴巴。喵喵吃完自己的食物，还盯着我们的，好像在说：“我还要吃，我都瘦了好几斤了。”真是让人哭笑不得。

说它尽职吧，它的确很尽职。每天晚上都会听到一阵喵喵声，走出来一看，原来是喵喵在捉老鼠。喵喵使足了劲要捉老鼠，老鼠吓得躲回老鼠洞。喵喵在那里守了很长的时间，久得都快睡着了。老鼠趁喵喵打瞌睡的时候，飞快地跑出老鼠洞偷米吃。喵喵突然醒来，迅速地奔向老鼠，一下咬到它脖子，老鼠就死了。

年轻人喜欢一年中的这个时候，因为它对运动有益。我经常去游泳，有时在我家附近的海里游泳，有时在游泳池里游泳。夏天我也可以吃各种各样的水果和蔬菜。我也可以有一个漫长的暑假。

我非常喜欢夏天。

我的外婆家养着一只非常可爱的小猫。它有着灰色皮毛，上面还点缀着一条条黑色绒毛，好似一件貂皮大衣，漂亮极了！

小猫虽有点怕生，但它好奇心更强。无论什么它都想去看一看，每次我要去写作业时，它都远远地跟着我。但我一回头，小猫便连忙逃窜，我转回头，它又继续气定神闲地跟着，好像一名特工，不跟到目的地决不罢休似的。

小猫吃饭时会把整个头都伸进碗里，然后一口一口地吃着，吃相十分优雅，犹如贵族在享受珍馐佳肴。当然，它偶尔也会吃点昆虫来填填肚子。一次偶然的机会，我看到了小猫捕捉蜻蜓的全过程。

小猫站在椅子上，调整角度，准备，跳！哎呀，没扑倒！再来！小猫再一扑，扰动了蜻蜓，蜻蜓有了防备，轻轻飞到另一边，小猫最后一扑，扑到了！这时的蜻蜓已经奄奄一息，可小猫并没有着急把蜻蜓吃掉，而是玩弄一会才吞入肚中。

现在，小猫已经长大了，生了更多的小猫，但它仍然有着以前的习惯。这就是我外婆家的小猫，你喜欢吗？

小时候，我跟着妈妈给蚕铺叶吃，我看见蚕就觉得很奇怪，怎么蚕的眼睛不转动呢？怎么蚕的一身是白色的，而且还一身冰凉呢？于是我带着好奇心，对妈妈说：“妈，我拿30只蚕去养，挣到得钱归我，可以吗？”妈妈笑着答应了。

我高兴极了，便拿东西把蚕放好，然后去桑地里摘来一大把桑叶铺好给蚕吃，我越养，对蚕的兴趣越浓。就这样，一天、二天、三天，直到第四天，我早上起来铺叶时，发现那30只蚕一动不动，用手摸它们，它们也一动也不动，我以为它们死了，心里难过极了，“呜呜”地哭起来。后来，妈妈走过来问我：“怎么了？养蚕你不是喜欢吗？怎么哭的像花猫似的。”我哭着对妈妈说：“蚕已经不动了，死了。”我叫妈妈看，妈妈笑着说：“傻孩子蚕不是死了，而是在睡眠。”我听了更奇怪了，蚕怎么会睡觉呢？妈妈笑着说：“你不也要睡觉吗，它们吃上四五天的叶，可就要睡一二天觉的，你放心，过两天它们就会醒的。”

过了两天，蚕真的醒了。我高兴极了，又兴高采烈地去摘桑叶。我摘叶的时候，看见一只虫在吃叶，忽然灵机一动：虫在桑树上面吃叶，那么蚕也可以呀，那么这样一来不用摘叶，不用铺叶，不是一举两得吗？心想，把这个办法告诉爸妈，他们会很高兴的。于是跑回家，把这个办法告诉妈妈，妈妈又笑我：“傻孩子，下雨天怎么办呢！蚕不就淋死了吗？”听妈一说，仔细反省，觉得自己真的很傻很傻。不久，我的蚕宝宝结茧了，白白的蚕茧令着实我狂喜了好一阵子。

通过这次养蚕，我与蚕结下了不解之缘，也懂得了凡事皆要实践才能明白的道理。

Nowadays, with the improvement of the people’s living standard, some people form a habit of raising small or domestic animals as pets. Some raise small dogs or cats as their pets while others raise various birds or fishes as their pets.

如今，随着人们生活水平的提高，有些人形成饲养小的动物或者家禽作为宠物的一个习惯。有些人养小狗或猫作为宠物而有些人则饲养各种鸟类和鱼类为他们的宠物。

However, some people object to the idea of raising animals as pets. To them, animals have their own right to live a natural life like human beings. On the other hand, the way people raise animals as pets have a negative influence on the surroundings ,for example, dogs’ chasing people on the street and so on. What’s more, some animals will transmit some diseases.

然而，一些人反对饲养动物为宠物。对他们来说，动物们就像人类一样，有过自然生活的权利。另一方面，人们养宠物对环境有负面影响，例如，狗在街上追赶人等。更重要的是，有些动物会传播疾病。

In my opinion, I do not like the idea to raise animals at pets. We should not deprive them of their natural right. In this way, we will live in a peaceful world in harmony with the other living creatures.
