由于人类对环境的破坏，导致环境恶化，从而影响人类生产和生活。农村大部分人做饭使用的柴，主要来自砍伐大量树木，有些人只顾眼前利益，大面积放牧，既让羊吃了刚栽的小树苗，又吃掉了保护土壤的草木。这些都会对人类造成很大的影响。又如：由于滥伐森林，造成森林面积锐减，使森林的环境调节功能下降，由于对自然植被的破坏，导致水土流失，土地荒漠化加剧，由于大量燃烧煤和使用消耗臭氧物质，导致大气中二氧化碳的含量增加和臭氧层破坏。由于生物的生存环境遭破坏或过度捕猎等原因，对人类具有重大经济，文化价值物种的灭绝速度加快。

在农村，因利用资源的方式不恰当和强度过大，环境问题主要表现为生态破坏。如：水土流失，荒漠化，土壤盐碱化，森林减少，水源枯竭，物种减少。造成这些问题的主要原因是：

一、农村经济水平都比较低，而人口增长却很快，环境承受人口和发展的双重压力。

二、经济，技术水平的制约，农村没有足够的能力对已破坏的环境进行治理以及对环境的保护，在环境问题发生后，不能及时解决。

三、农村人口环保意识欠佳。

为改变这种现状，我们所要采取的措施是：

一、大力向农民宣传环保意识。如；向他们讲解有些环境问题不只影响农村，或一个国家，而且可能影响到其他国家甚至全球。例如，酸雨随着大气的运动，能影响到很远的地区，国际性河流上游被污染，即将使全流域受到影响，热带雨林的破坏，会对全球的气候产生影响，大气中二氧化碳浓度的升高和臭氧层的破坏，更是威胁着全人类。由此认识到：不要认为农村的环境破坏是单纯的环境破坏，他可能危及到全人类的利益。

二、大面积植树造林，不随意砍伐树木，生活和生产产生的垃圾要经过专门的处理和回收。

三、对于环境破坏的行为给于一定的处罚和教育。

四、加大对环境的投资，组织开垦荒地，退耕还林还草。

When winter comes, the topic of haze will never be ignored. When it comes, many pictures will be showed. People make fun of these pictures and they actually laugh at themselves, living with these poison air. Even in the daytime, people can’t see their faces beyond 10 meters. Many schools choose to stop the class and let the students stay at home. It is obvious that haze is a great threat to people’s health. This new type of destruction is the result of polluted environment. Businessmen chase for the profit and take the cost of polluting the environment. Now their offspring have to suffer from it. It is never too late to do something to protect our earth.

I’m Mike. I am a student in Huaxing Middle School. Do you know the plastic bags? Do you often use the plastic bags? I don’t like them. I think they use the wasting valuable oil their production. And they can’t decompose(分解) in a short time. The plastic bags will make our world worse. I agree with the rule, which people can’t get the free plastic bags in the shops, supermarkets. It encourages people to use their cloth bags and baskets. It’s good for our environment.

So I hope all the students in our class stop to use the plastic bags, and use our own cloth bags. I hope we can take care of our environment.

How to protect the environment? First of all, cant litter, saw rubbish pick up, is the environment become clean and beautiful. Second, do not arbitrarily trample flowers and plants trees. To plant trees, a variety of flowers and plants.

Electricity, bring us all kinds of convenience, especially gives us light, lit up the colorful world. But we want to save electricity, because electricity is mostly produced by burning coal. There is no denying that the industry is indications of civilization， proGREss and development. We are so development-oriented that we almost can sacrifice our blue sky and pure water in order to obtain a little material gain.

As a consequence， it is imperative for us to take drastic actions. On the one hand， the factories should be equipped with devices which can dispose of waste gas and water so as to prevent them from polluting our planet. On the other hand， there should be an increasingly loud voice from the public for firm actions against poisonous gas sent off and unhealthy water polluted by factories.

Protection of EnvironmentThere are still many problems of environmental protection in recent years. One of the most serious problems is the serious pollution of air, water and soil. the polluted air does great harm to people’s health. The polluted water causes diseases and death. What is more, vegetation had been greatly reduced with the rapid growth of modern cities.

To protect the environment, governments of many countries have done a lot. Legislative steps have been introduced to control air pollution, to protect the forest and sea resources and to stop any environmental pollution. Therefore, governments are playing the most important role in the environmental protection today.

In my opinion, to protect environment, the government must take even more concrete measures. First, it should let people fully realize the importance of environmental protection through education. Second, much more efforts should be made to put the population planning policy into practice, because more people means more people means more pollution. Finally, those who destroy the environment intentionally should be severely punished. We should let them know that destroying environment means destroying mankind themselves.

As in modern times of birth control being the basic policy of China,core families made of 3 people in which the parents were born after 1980 have a heavy burden of lives.That is to say,they have parents,father-in-law and mother-in-law,grand parents to care and a child to bring up which means two ones have to care 6 olders and bring up one child.It is such a big burden for a family two of whom are workers, when they have to pay for the housing loan , work and care for the olders.Especilly for those who get married not long ,whose olders coming from countries and having no insurance, the burden is more heavy.

In the tranditional culture of China, married conditions of men are different from women.Generally,men should collect enough money and give a wedding feast.This has accomplished an actuality ,if you have a girl baby,you just have to bring her up,and if you have a boy baby,you have to prepare rather many lots of money which you will have earned all your life to pay for your son’ house and his wedding,besides bringing him up.A jok has described the state lively , your boy baby is called a bank of economic construction you have to construct,while your girl baby is called China Merchants Bank on which you needn’t care too much ,and then someone will invest.As a result ,even if it is allowed to have a second child,families who have had a son would not be willing to have a second one.

Most ones born in 1980s(80s) are singletons which generation had received so much hope and love from their parents.Many coming from rich family are poor in living themselves,and not ready to bear hardships,so that pregnant women in them prefer caesarean birth when they deliver,so as to advoid the serious pain,although it had been proved better in science to bear naturally.The 80s parents even don’t want to pay their attention to the babies who will be taking care of by their grandparents.These mathers don’t want to suffer the pregnant process ,and will be still at the front of the pain,even if they woule like to have second ones.

For the young couples whose ideas are traditional,being like to own a big family,they do like have a second baby,but they can only hang back under the pressure of the cruel reality .For the nation,if it demand contradictions between ageing and low fertility relieved,it should entirely relieve the control of having a second single baby,which will rise the ratio of population steadily.The more important is to have most people share the gain of Reform and Openness,to solve the problem of housing loan of people,turning the commercial residential building into welfare building,to improve and perfect the service system of the society,to improve the medical security ,to narrow the gap between the wealthy and poor,to raise the pay of people.Then, the government needn’t to encourage people to do anything,and they would to have more babies all themselves.

For individual ,if you want a second baby and you are rich ,while your parents have old-age pension and could help bring up baby for you,you may as well have another one.

But if you are in pressure of living,while you parents have no retired pension and are in poor health,you’d better concentrate all your energies on your only baby ,and pay no attention to matter of the second baby ,in which it is the best choice for either you or your baby.

As a supervisor of HSE management in an oil company, I can see the environmental protection in a different way.

In 1989, an oil tanker hit a rock off the northwest coast of Alaska. 35,000 tons of oil poured into the sea. The accident was one of the worst in history. More than 34,000 birds and 10,000 animals were killed. 4,800 square kilometers of ocean were polluted.

The poured oil long-time coverd the surface of ocean and the bodies of marine creatures.We call oil as "black gold",at that time, it turns out to be "black killer".When I saw the famous French film"The travelling birds", thousands of birds are stuck by black sticky oil and died in a few days,many species are no more exist. Ill never forget that sight-shocking scene.

Therefore, we ought to bound up environmental protection with industrial safty control.

Secondly, when oil tankers use ultrasonic waves to test underwater oil stocks, many whales sensing system is spoiled by the instant powerful ultrasonic bolt. Once they were hit by a ultrasonic bolt,they were almost deaf. They cant effectively respond dangerous surroundings around them and are liable to be reeled in the engine of oil tankers or be killed by whaler and other natural enemies.Thereby,we can see the quantity of whales declines very fast.

Its a shame that a great many oil companies havent even realized that. Highly attentions needs to be paid on to keep improving the exploring technology of drilling work on the sea.

All in all, Enviormental protection is an extremely wide subject, In my short essay I can hope at most to lift one small corner of that field and yet it is a critical corner
