吉拉德的成功并非与生俱来，35岁以前，乔·吉拉德是个彻彻底底的失败者。他小时候不喜欢念书，经常逃学，连高中都没有念完。更要命的是，他患有严重的口吃。为了生计，他甚至当过小偷，开过赌场。

“在我人生的前35个年头，我自认是全世界最糟糕的失败者!”走投无路时，吉拉德向朋友求得汽车销售员的工作。60年代，被喻为“汽车城”的全球汽车工业重镇底特律，有39家大型的汽车经销营业所，每家又各有几十名销售员，可说是全世界竞争最激烈的一处市场。没有丝毫经验的吉拉德就在这时候闯来了。

新学期、新形象、新计划、新目标、新要求、新规矩、新起点……总之，一切全都是新的，一切都和往日不同。在开学之际，我也要给自己定一个开学新计划，自己可以以此为目标，争取更上一层楼。

4、作业工整认真、一丝不苟地完成；

5、和同学们友好相处，热心帮助同学；

6、有足够的爱心；

需要继续改进的：

1、虽然老师讲的知识有的我已经会了，但还要坚持认真听下去，争取做到上课不开小差，集中精力听好每一节课，做到每节课都有新的收获。

2、如果因为睡眠不足导致上课打瞌睡，我争取做到坐端正不给自己打瞌睡提供条件。
