走进大门放眼望去，无数的兵马俑都端端正正的站在一个很深的大土坑里，仿佛在迎接观光的游客;

走近一点才发现兵马俑中有的完整无缺，有的缺了一只胳膊，还有的连头也没有，可能是出土时弄坏了吧。

然后，我们听到那些工作人员说，如此规模的随葬人俑在人类历史上绝无仅有，有极高的文物价值与考古价值。目前已发掘了三号坑的全部和一号坑、二号坑的一小部分，四号坑是未建成就废弃的空坑。据发掘部分可知，三个坑中一号坑最大，坑深五米，面积14260平方米是东西长230米，南北宽62米，面阔九间、四周环绕回廊、四边各有五个门道的地下大厅。二号坑呈曲尺形，面积6000平方米，分成各自独立又互有联系的四个部分。三号坑呈凹字形，面积约520平方米，是三个厢房相通的建筑。秦始皇兵马俑博物馆，是建立在兵马俑坑原址上的遗址性博物馆。兵马俑已被誉为“世界第八大奇迹”，“二十世纪考古史上的伟大发现之一”。 1987年12月，联合国教科文组织已将秦始皇陵(包括兵马俑坑)列入“世界文化遗产名录”。它不仅是中国人民、也是全人类的一份珍贵文化财富。秦始皇兵马俑博物馆的建立和发展，曾历经坎坷和艰辛，凝聚着许多人的心血和汗水。土坑里面埋藏着和真人、真马大小相似的陶俑、陶马个个栩栩如生，简直像一个模子刻出来的，真可以以假乱真了。这时我的心里又产生了和管理人员一样的感受，古代人民真聪明，绝不比现代人差。

我又认真地参观起来，这是我才发现，这些兵马俑不仅栩栩如生，而且形态各异，变化多端。瞧，这些兵马俑排列有序，队形整齐，组成前锋、左右两翼及中部车与步兵排成主阵的庞大阵容。出土兵器多是实用的青铜兵器，个别的为铁器。咦，这个目视前方，抬头挺胸，那个抬起手臂，指着前方，好像在眺望远方。突然，我又发现一个歌妓俑，一张笑嘻嘻的脸庞挂在身体上，它左手高举，右手向后摆，单脚立地，另一只脚抬了起来，做出一副能歌善舞的样子。这时，一只“野马”进入了我的视线，它看上去“英俊潇洒”，额头半黑半白，四只脚稳稳地站立在地上，噢，原来是兵马俑中的马俑。接着，我还看到胖胖的兵俑，还有瘦兵俑，看得我眼花缭乱，金星直围着我的头转。哦，我明白了，原来陶俑的雕塑是根据不同身分、不同年龄来设计的，面容神态各异。陶马形象准确生动，比例适度，体现出静中寓动的艺术效果。秦兵马俑的发现，对研究秦代军队编制，武器装备、作战方式以及后吏服饰、雕塑艺术等，有着非常重要的意义。

看到这里，我迫不及待把相机拿出来，给兵马俑照张相。而管理人员阻止了我，指了指墙上悬挂的醒目提示告诉我们这里不能照相，说：“相片是一种化学东西，在兵马俑跟前照相的话容易引起兵马俑的化学反应，令兵马俑褪色。”妈妈说：“对啊，8年前我来过这里，这里的兵马俑以前是彩色的，也是不允许照相的，而且光线很暗，那是为了保护兵马俑上的色彩，现在的人富裕了，差不多每家每户都有照相机了，来到这里的人都不听工作人员的阻止，坚持照相，所以现在的兵马俑都全成土色了，已经没有以前的光泽了。”

这次参观，我真是大开眼界，让我不由得想到古代劳动人民是多么的聪明啊，他们用智慧和心血凝结成这无数的、工人参观的、流芳百世的“兵马俑”!这些劳动人民可真让人钦佩啊!

How did you spend your summer vacation this year?

In my vacation, my family and I went to National Park. We visited the island in the center of the lake.

We took a ferryboat to the island at 9:00 am. The first place we visited was the Botanical Garden. Then we visited the Site of an Old Temple which had a history of over 600 years. Lunch was served at 11:30. After that, we went to see varieties of birds at the Birds House. We went shopping for some souvenirs at the Gift Shop before we left. Finally, we returned from the island by cable car at 3:30 pm.

Though we were tired, we had a good time, because we like nature very much. Do you like nature, too?

Today, my chinese teacher takes my class to visit the museum. We see many weapons that used by the the old warriors1, they protect our country and bring us the new life. there are all kinds of samples that used during the war are presented in front of us. We learn that our new life is not easy to get and we should cherish.

在彭州市音乐广场,有一座古老的建筑——小钟楼。钟楼颇有一股“洋气”，近似半椭形状的窗户，高高的，让我想起了积木。它高高地矗立在城区中心，看起来非常雄伟、壮观。

我很小的时候，经常去广场玩。后来，我也慢慢知道了关于钟楼的一些故事。这钟楼可谓是“世纪老人”了，它始建于1937年。据老年人讲，当初建钟楼有两个目的。一

是告诉人们的时间，起到的报时作用;二来钟楼居市区中央，全城四面八方都能看见，一方有火情、匪情等都能通过高处向外迅速传布。

在“文化大革命”期间，钟楼成为了“资本主义建筑”，几经遭到破坏，说是“割资本主义的尾巴”。但是在市民的拥护下，小钟楼保存了起来，却已经是一个衰老的老年人般，失去了自己昔日的光彩。不过，我还是很喜欢这个钟楼，虽然他现在已经不再为我们报时了，但是，我依然很喜欢在它下面玩耍，也经常有一些幼稚的想法：到钟楼上去看看。俨然，钟楼那么窄小，人怎么能爬上去呢?有些时候我甚至想坐在钟楼的时针上去，因为这个钟太大了。

终于有一天，钟楼又被人们想起了。

钟楼再一次被修复，美丽的面貌再次重现。现在，每当整点时，那“当——当”的声音又再次响起，我们都会不约而同的看看表。就在刚才12点的时候，我独自趴在阳台上，静静地听着钟楼那古老的声音。

啊!可爱的钟楼!”我觉得听钟楼的声音俨然是一种享受。

现在，虽然那古老的钟楼已经是斑斑锈迹，几乎是断壁残垣了。在它的周围，已经耸立起了高高的大楼，小钟楼也就失去了“全市最高楼”的美名。但是，我们依然不会忘记这位世纪老人的存在。

“当——当”集观赏、报时为一体的钟楼象世纪老人一样，向人们展示着无限风彩。
