年轻人断然地摇头，说学那些没用，那么多大学生拿着文凭还找不到工作，他即使真学得成了知识分子，也不见得能挣到更多的钱。这位年轻人喜欢买彩票，每周买。也中过几次十元一类的小奖，其他时候一无所获，与他的投入差得很多。

我告诉他，中大奖的机率很低，就好像有飞机在北京城的高空扔下一块大饼，能砸到你身上的可能性几乎为零。但年轻人还是契而不舍地坚持，说凭自己的能力，这辈子也挣不到自己期望的钱财，除了买彩票看不到改变命运的机会。

我问万一中个几百万的大奖，你打算怎么处理?年轻人向往地笑了，说早已打算好，先买套大一点的房子，再买辆好车，然后到老板进出的那些高级场所好好地“消费”一下。我问：怎样消费?他说要照着最贵的饭菜点上几桌，而且要叫上漂亮小姐在身边伺候，渴了有人送水，乏了有人按摩，这才是神仙过的日子。

这就是这位年轻人的梦想。

他可能不知道有这样一个故事。

很久以前，一个穷人死了，发现自己来到一个特别美妙的地方，有花园美女，有令人眩目的娱乐，还有享用不尽的美食。仆人告诉他，他就是这里的主人，想吃什么，想玩什么，这里的一切都可由他尽情享受。这个人在惊奇之余又感到特别庆幸：这不正是我在人世间的梦想吗?于是他每日就浸泡在美色与美食之中，得到前所未有的快乐。
