Last Sunday my father and I went fishing along a river. We found the water so dirty that we could hardly catch fish in it.

A lot of factories along the river always poured their waste water and rubbish straight into the river which made the river water polluted. In this way most of the fish in the river were killed.

我是一只小青蛙，一只生活在农村水稻田里的小青蛙。对我而言，每天最快乐的事便是和朋友们一起在田间玩耍，自由自在，无忧无虑。

这是换掉尾巴的第一个月。一个早晨，我正和我最好的朋友一起在水中比游泳，注意力却被邻田的水声吸引，哗哗，农夫背着一个天蓝的水箱，一边走一边洒水。过来凑热闹的我们发现，农夫山泉经销商所到之处，小蝗虫和胖乎乎的肉虫纷纷摔下来。呱呱，好多虫子呀，都自己送上门来了呀！朋友们开心报喊。正准备动嘴，却听边上传来咕的一声惊呼，一只黄色的小青蛙突然抽搐起来，不久便一命呜呼了。正纳闷着，一只小青蛙吃了一只掉下来的虫子，不久，同样抽搐了起来。我们十分后怕，连滚带爬地跳出农田。一路上，简直是尸横遍野。

一：保护环境

地球是人类之家，大自然是同我们生死相依的朋友。但是许多人却在给我们的"家"穿"巫衣"，"丑化"我们的这位朋友……

曾经听过电视上报道，被人们称之为"世界第一大佛"的乐山大佛面前，昔日是清澈透明的河水，由于附近工厂长期往河里排放污水，现在那里已是一条散发臭气的河流了。瞧！连一个五岁的小男孩都捂着鼻子叫道："太脏了、太臭了！"而这，不是一个个别的、特殊的例子。电视上，大报小报，杂志上都经常可以看到类似的报道。难道这些厂家们就愿意在这样肮脏的一个共同大家庭里生活吗？我看他们自己的小家就没有这么"脏"吧！排放的污水不仅使河水变浊了，使我们的饮水资源遭受破坏，同时，也使鱼儿们无法生存下去，长此以往，在不久的将来，我们的饭桌上恐怕就没有"鱼"这个名词了呀！

工厂越办越大了，不仅排出的污水严重污染了原本洁净的河水，烟囱里放出的有毒气体散发到空中，使我们现在所吸入的，已不再是新鲜空气，而都是受到了污染的气体呀！这些"浓烟"直升入高空，还使我们的臭氧层受到破灭，出现了臭氧层空洞。西藏地处青藏高原，那里被称为"世界屋脊"，然而那里却莫名其妙的出现了一些盲童，他们原来也有明亮的大眼睛，可是后来由于红肿，慢慢地双目失明了。大家一定会问：怎么会这样子呢？凶手是谁？是隐形杀手——紫外线，是臭氧层空洞造成的。"幕后指使者"就是那一股股"浓烟"，那一家家排放有毒气体的大小工厂，而归根到底是我们人类自己呀！如果再不采取环保措施，最终受害的是我们人类自己！

说到这里，也许有的人会认为，保护环境是那些大工厂大老板们的事情，与我们这些小市民毫无相干，那就错了。现在日趋严重的"白色污染"不就在我们身边吗？现在我们生活中的一些餐具、日用品都是一次性的，目的是为了干净些。可是当我们扔掉这些一次性物品时有没有想到，刚刚认为是易干净的物品，随这一扔将变成"白色污染"的根源，成为一堆垃圾……随处可见的五颜六色的塑料袋、矿泉水瓶、快餐盒、易拉罐……在光秃秃的水泥大道上，让人看了都觉得刺眼，可能有的人会说："叫清洁工来打扫不就得了，何必大惊小怪呢？"可是，有很多人却认为这样随手乱扔完事，很方便，要是这样，一扫一扔，就是再多的清洁工来也没有用啊！

环保，是人们必需做的事。环境保护，可以使地球的温室效应大大降低，可以使濒危物种不惨遭灭绝的厄运，可以使疾病发生的几率大大降低，还可以使城市变得更加干净、美丽……因此，请大家一起来环保，来保护我们赖以生存的家园——地球。

环保，对于我们很重要。因此，我家也正在环保。塑料，这种韧性强、强度高的不可再生材料，在各个领域都有广泛的应用。可是，有多少人知道，塑料要经过200年左右才会降解，过多会形成“白色污染”呀！因此，我家到集市买菜时，都是用上次买菜用的塑料袋去继续使用，尽可能多地反复使用。如果大家都这样做，塑料对环境的污染就可以大大降低。

再说说电池。电池，是一种蓄电量较低的储电装置。并且大多电池不但不能充电，而且含有汞、铅、镍、镉等重金属。一节电池就可以污染一个人一生的用水——约500立方米。这是一个多么庞大的数字呀！所以，我们家只要有电用光并且不可以再充电的电池，就会把他们用一个瓶子装起来，让电池不再污染环境。

水是生命之源，如果没有了水，就没有生命的存在。所以，我们应该节约用水。有些人会说：“地球上的水多着呢，何必那么节约呢？”其实，你错了，如果人们毫无节制的用水，可能在将来就没有了生命的存在，并且就不再可能有生命诞生了！所以，我家也在节约用水。我们把淘米水用来洗菜、浇花；洗脸、脚用的水用来洗袜子、冲厕所、浇花；我家有一个浴盆，由于洗澡用的水比淋浴要多，所以我们经常将洗澡用的水用来先洗衣服，再用洗衣服的水去冲厕所、拖地。这样，不仅节省了水费，而且节约了许多水。所以，我建议大家反复利用水，使水的作用充分发挥出来。

不仅我家在做环保小事，就连我也自主做起环保小事。

纸，他是全世界用得最广泛的办公用品。因为它轻，所以深受人们的青睐。可是，纸却大多用木材通过化学物质氢氧化钠造成纸浆，但是会产生许许多多的污水呀！然后把纸浆滤在细纱网上晾成纸。最后，还要经过多重处理，使纸变得更加平滑、洁白。有的人会说：“纸不是可以降解的吗？对环境没有污染。”那你就大错特错了：纸在生产过程中会产生许多污水，而浪费没有使用过的纸，不就等于浪费木材、故意制造污水吗？所以，每当一个学期结束，我就会将作业本找出来，将没有使用过的空白页订起来制作成一本数学草稿本。这样，没有使用过的纸就不会造成浪费了。所以，我建议大家充分使用纸张，这样就不会造成资源浪费。

在生活中，随处可以看见花草树木。可是，有些人故意去攀折树木。但是，你想过没有：树的叶子可以吸收二氧化碳，释放出氧气。而如果人人都去折树木的叶子树木释放出来的氧气不就一天比一天少了吗？所以，我们一定要爱护花草树木……

在环境保护中，有许许多多都须要我们去做。所以“播种绿色，收获健康”就可以是世界变得更加和谐美好！所以，我呼吁同学们：从现在开始，为了保护和谐美丽的家园，让我们携起手来，去为环境保护作出自己应有的贡献！

随着我国经济的发展，有效利用能源、减少环境污染、降低安全生产事故频次，防止突发环境事件，确保生命安全的重要性日益凸显。制定并执行环保政策和措施，致在保护环境的同时改善人民的生活质量，已经成为我国民生工程的关注点。

人们对绿色生活观念日益加深，使人们明白环境保护的重要性，每日人类所造成的环境破坏也使人明白可怕后果的初步形式，环境的日益恶劣人类不是毫无举措应该努力挽救，每个人都应该献出自己的一份力量。从现在开始行动，为我们美好的明天而付出把！

环境污染的原因主要是人为的因素所造成。平时人们在生产、生活中排放的大量“三废”和某些工业、生活设施的突发意外事故，以及医院未经处理的废弃物等均可造成环境污染，严重时可引起危害。战时由于大量使用各种武器对居民的杀伤和对居民区的破坏，更能造成环境污染和破坏。生活中有许多方面会造成污染，但是我们应该防护，不应该任其恶意发展，从身边开始倡导环境保护，让地球永远伴你随行，你有很多种方法来保护环境，比如你每日不开自己的车上班，坐公共汽车上班或骑自行车和电动车，从而见少二氧化碳的排放这样一来可以保护空气环境也可以不让臭氧层遭到破坏，你也为环境保护做出贡献。在你的日常生活中你坚决不适用一次性餐具和塑料袋减少白色污染，塑料是无法在土里消除这样会造成污染。如果你是开化工厂你所造成的污水应该经过处理在排放否则会造成水污染，你也将为此而无声无息中在你不知觉中会坏你的地球，你也离死亡更进一步，如果你不愿看到这一面你最好做好处理工作。在周末的假期你应该阻止你的家庭成员一起去野外植树，这样做可以改善空气的部分气体，让空气各个含量在稳定比例，让空气循环利用。在日常生活中不要使用化学燃料，它所产生的气体会影响环境，用污染的燃料这样是对我们有好处的。有许多方法可以保护环境就看你是否有去做了，在生活中提倡绿色生活观念，共同携手保护环境，让污染远离地球吧，让我们的后代可以依赖于地球而活不要断开于地球的相互生命的纽带，让它永存让人泪书写在地球的光辉历史！

地球是我们不可失去的生存之地但在不愿失去它的前提是做好环境保护，这是基本要求，没有做好那吗人类的灭亡是迟早的事情，美好只存在我们的环保意识之间，如果你想有美好的明天就应该怎么做你应该明白，为了你的明天我们共同倡导全世界人们携手保护地球，相互监督。加油为我们的地球而做出贡献吧！！！！

保护环境，不要再让动植物无家可归了！

蒲公英从小有个小小的愿望，她渴望飞翔，渴望蓝天。

蔚蓝的天空，湛蓝色是一望无垠的海面。天空微风拂过，许多蒲公英飞走了，那是她的哥哥姐姐们，他们已经长大，要寻找新的家了。他们要到天上，他们会和月亮说话，和星星谈心。小小的她望妈妈，他和哥哥姐姐有一样的愿望，他也想要飞翔，也想要看见更多的美景。因为，自从出生，她依偎在妈妈的身边，从未离开。

飞啊飞，他飞到丛林里，妈妈的描写，是他总能想象想到外面世界的美，总会渴望快点长大快点学会飞翔，即使在梦乡，她也会笑着，他笑得好傻好傻，嘘！他是梦见森林了。

一天的旅程结束了，他落到丛林里，这里的景象是他惊呆了：

没有绿色的树木，没有鸟儿的哼唱，没有美丽的天空，没有好多妈妈描写的景物，多得是痛哭，鸟儿和松鼠，大地和树木，他们的痛苦，呻吟，使她再一次沦落悬崖一般。

他走了，飞到河里，可是河里没有他憧憬的绿色，没有清澈的影响，飘满垃圾。。。他好失望，他又走了，这次是带着眼泪走的，很伤心很伤心。。

他到城市里，熙熙攘攘的的人群和车辆，不断的喇叭声，高大的楼房，很多的垃圾，没有绿树，没有绿草，尽管有也只是应付敷衍的，在草丛旁，她发现一片空地，认为这里可以释是她生活的家乡，还有一个年迈的大叔，大叔苦苦的哀叹着，在它下面还有很多的砖头，他没有能力好好吸收养分，他很年迈，很难堪的样子，蒲公英不忍心打扰他了，飞回去了。飞回家了……

他回家的时候，哥哥姐姐也是因为同样的原因，他们一起回家了，夕阳下，一抹小小的身影远去。

作文五：保护环境

地球是生命的摇篮，人类是地球的骄子。她给予我们生存所需的一切，离开她我们一刻也无法生存下去。然而，随着科技进步与社会的快速发展，人类为了满足日益增长的物质生活需求，正不自觉地步入掠夺性资源利用和破坏性生产的误区。

在我们生活的这个世界上，一方面，工业污水源源不断地流入江河湖海，天空到处弥漫着黑色的烟尘，堆积如山的垃圾。另一方面，森林面积锐减，土地沙漠化，气候变异，酸雨成灾，旱涝肆虐，生态灾难频繁，水资源和自然资源逐渐枯竭……人类的生存与发展正面临着环境不断恶化所带来的严峻威胁，地球及其居民好象进入了一个高风险地带。警钟早已敲响，但是，人类对于环境恶化进程的遏止仍显得过于苍白无力。

美好的地球环境是我们赖以生存的基础。但，每当我们的自身利益与环境利益相互矛盾时，人类总是只顾眼前利益和自身利益，而环境利益却被我们远远地抛在脑后。在现实生活中，我们为了追求所谓的“卫生”而大量使用一次性筷子，为此付出的代价森林被毁，水土大量流失，生态失衡；为了获取看似贵重的毛皮、虎骨，满足渺小的口腹之欲，有人甘冒违法的风险，疯狂地捕杀野生动物……据统计，人类工业化发展的一百多年来，特别是最近几十年来，随着工业化的不断升级和其它人类活动的增加，物种灭绝的速度比自然灭绝的速度要快一千倍之多。如果人类再不节制自己的行为，我们的后代将会见不到除人类之外的其它生物，甚至将可能无法在这个星球上继续生存下去，人类也将面临灭绝。这决不是危言耸听。面对着我们一手造成的恶果，面对着逝去了的、将要逝去的，以及那些在人类的屠刀下呻吟的生命，我们——地球上最聪明的动物，该怎么办……

警钟已经长鸣！环境需要我们保护，家园需要我们建设。我们每个人可以做许多事情来保护我们生存的环境，如回收废旧电池，节约水电，不吃口香糖，不乱扔杂物，不用塑料袋，不用一次性筷子，植树造林，绿化荒山；到城镇乡村开展以“保护自然、保护环境”为主题的大规模的环保宣传教育活动，号召大家立即行动起来，保护我们的家园，为人类生活创建一个美好和谐的环境。

大自然与我们是不可分割的共同体，地球则是我们共同的家园。天蓝地绿，山川秀美是我们共同的追求和理想。为了把我们的绿色家园建设得更加美好，为了给我们的子孙后代留下一片绿色的天地，让我们从现在做起，从我做起，保护我们的地球，也保护我们人类自己吧！

I am highly disappointed in the proposed 2004-05 budget cuts to educa1ion. Taking away basic aid status and slashing our school budgets is a recipe for educational disaster in our school. The future lies with our children. They must have access to high quality educa1ion.

My husband and I have worked hard to be able to live in a school district that provides high quality education for our children. Cutting funding in districts like ours will have a negative impact on property values.

The school that my daughter attends is hardly wha1 I would describe as a "rich" school. Parents are asked to pay for books for all the classes, science supplies and for their students to participate in the performing arts among other items. If our school is to remain a world leader in technological development, cutting our school funds is the worst possible choice to make.

Education funds should not be diverted away from education.

Humor is a flavor of our lives. Humor can soften relationship between

people; humor can adjust the atmosphere of different occasions; humor can bring

more fun and joy to our lives.

First, humor is very necessary in communicating with others because it can

soften relationship between people. In the process of getting along with others,

the occurrence of difference and contradiction is inevitable. Sometimes, when we

want to persuade others to agree with our points, we will find that our points

are easier to be accepted if we argue in a humorous tone.

Second, humor can adjust the atmosphere of different occasions. A person

having a good sense of humor is good at adjust the atmosphere. For example, in a

family, if the husband has a good sense humor, their family life would be more

of quarrel.

Finally, a person having a good sense of humor can bring fun and joy to

保护环境是从一点一滴的小事做起，而我却没有做好。有一次过新年，我们去顺峰山公园游玩，骑完自行车，我们个个都饿了，我们买了一小包零食来吃，而我，吃完零食，我因为高兴过头了，所以随手就把我吃过的7包零食的包装扔在地上，然后我进去便利店里面看电视，尽管今天的电视剧很好看，过了半个小时，我把以前妈妈跟我说的话忘得一干二净，我所有的心思都沉迷在这个电视剧里面。在过了三十分钟，我才想起来，可是，这时候，妈妈生气的走过来说：“你这个臭丫头，难道我以前跟你说的要保护环境，你都忘了吗?”我说：“我不是忘了，我只是顾着看电视。”妈妈说：“看电视重要一些，还是捡垃圾重要一些?”我说：“捡垃圾。”妈妈说：“那你快点捡呀。”

然后，我捡起一小堆垃圾，扔进垃圾桶，我不但向妈妈认错了，我也向顺峰山公园的每一个扫地阿姨认了错。因为，如果每个人都扔一块垃圾在地面，那么就会给清洁阿姨增加负担。如果你看见一块垃圾在地面，那你就弯弯腰，动动手，做一个保护环境的人，那么就会给清洁阿姨减少负担……

虽然这件事已经过去一年了，但是，这件事让我学会了，如果世界上都扔一块垃圾在地面，那么整个地球就会变成一片废区，所以我们每个人都要保护环境，保护地球，世界才会更美好!

地球，是我们人类唯一就居住的星球。它无私地为人类提供各种资源，为人类生存作出了巨大的贡献。然而，地球却只是一个微小、美丽而脆弱的星球，我们大家都应该同心协力地保护它，维护地球的生态环境，让地球永远美丽、壮观。

尽管如此，生活在地球上的每一个人是否都在维护着地球的生态环境呢?不是的。就说我们东莞吧，许多外来员工十分不懂得保护环境。在街道、广场等地方乱扔垃圾。再加上工厂排出的废气和汽车的尾气，污染了城市。不仅使空气变得混浊，还对人类生存作出了威胁，有害我们得健康。

还有，如今世界上的许多不可再生资源正在面临着危机。如石油，在1973年10月，阿拉伯国家利用第四次阿以战争爆发的机会，在西方工业化国家已高度依赖石油进口维持其经济发展的情况下，突然大大减少石油产量。世界石油市场每天短缺500万桶以上，因而引发了世界第一次“石油危机”。像石油这样的不可再生资源，“危机”只是一个警告，枯竭才是它的归宿。它既可以把人类的物质文明高高托起，也可以在一夜间使之荡然无存。按目前的生产速度，世界石油储量将只能维持45年。

大家听了以上的资源情况，是否正在为此而焦急呢?对了，就让我们一起行动起来，保护资源，保护环境吧!现在不仅石油资源短缺，世界上还有许多自然资源正在面临着危机。从今天起，就让我们当起保护资源、环境的小卫士。首先，我们必须从身边的小事做起。一是节约水资源。如今，我国的水资源短缺是十分严重的，平时，我们应该节约用水量。开水龙头不能开得太大，开大了就会溅得四周都是水，很浪费。二是节约用电。我国发电量虽居世界第二位。但由于我国人口众多，每个人的电占有量很少，远远少于世界上的发达国家。特别是广大农村，用电更加困难。因此，在家中，或学校，我们都应该懂得节约用电。三是保护绿化。绿化对美化城市环境起到很大的作用。我们必须爱护花草，不要踩踏草坪，这样，我们的城市环境就会变得更美更宜人。四是不随地乱扔垃圾。乱扔垃圾是不保护环境的典型行为。我们人类不能随地乱扔垃圾，破坏环境。

美好的环境，丰富的地球资源，不仅需要大家共同的保护和建设，还需要我们从小养成良好的生活习惯——节约用水、节约用电、保护绿化、不乱扔垃圾等。记住：保护环境，保护资源，从我做起。
