Some characteristics are shared am ong the groups; most New World monkeys have prehensile tails while Old World monkeys have non-prehensile tails or no visible tail at all.Some have trichromatic color vision like that of humans,others are dichromats or monochromats.Although both the New and Old World monkeys,like the apes,have forward-facing eyes,the faces of Old World and New World monkeys look very different,though again,each group shares some features such as the types of noses,cheeks and rumps.

猴种类的部分特征差不多,例如很多新世界猴会有缠卷的尾巴,这样当它们爬树时就可以用来抓着树枝,相反旧世界猴就没有缠卷的尾巴,而是有较小的鼻孔,鼻孔之间的距离也较近,部分的背部有硬皮,就像嵌入的座椅靠垫般；部分也像人类有三色的视力；其他则是两色视或单色视.虽然新旧世界猴,像猿,都有向前的眼睛,但二者的脸部却是不同的；而每种类的猴仔都有某些特征一样,例如鼻子,颚部和臀部的类型.因此如果要明白猴的话,必须去学习它们的个别不同的特征.

我家有一条圆圆的小狗，它的爪爪很圆，肚肚很圆，尾巴很圆，眼睛很圆，耳朵很圆，几乎全身上下都是圆的，简直是一个小圆球，我给它起了个名字叫“毛球”。

毛球是捡来的。那一天，我从街上回来时看到一个小球，仔细一看，原来是只小狗。我问妈妈能不能把它带回家，妈妈出乎我意料的同意了。于是，我就把小狗带回了家。

到家第一件事，就是给小狗吃香肠。我拿了一个圆圆的盆，把香肠剪成一个圆片一个圆片的，奶也倒在里面，把它们拌一拌去喂小狗。不一会儿小狗就吃好了，然后我请妈妈给它洗澡吹干，找一个既好看又不要了的被子放在地上。妈妈把小被子给我就出去了，我把毛球放在被子上，轻轻地抚摸着它。一会儿妈妈回来了，手上还带回一个小小的狗窝，还拎了一个大盆，给狗狗方便用。然后我们一起教毛球怎么用这些。

渐渐的，毛球大了，可是它的头还是那么圆，爪爪的形状也几乎没有变过，我和它的故事也越来越多，就像一个又一个七彩的泡泡一样，那么美，那么让人难忘。

有一次我考试没考好，妈妈批评了我，而且还规定我不许再跟狗玩了。我很不开心，坐在凳子上发呆。毛球看到了，好像知道我不开心似的跑过来，把它热热的脸压在我的腿上，懒洋洋地猫在我的腿上一动一动的，好痒啊！“哈哈！”我立马开心地笑了起来：有毛球在，真好。

又一次，我考了一百分，作业也全做好了，妈妈表扬了我，还奖励给我三根香肠，并说我可以下去玩。于是我便拿着香肠带上毛球下楼去玩了。

我和毛球去了河边的亭子里，拿一根香肠给毛球，还有两个自己吃。正当我吃第二根时，毛球可怜巴巴地望着我，我没办法，只好又给了它一半。

圆圆的狗狗，圆圆的生活，圆圆的幸福，还有满满的圆圆的回忆，这都是圆圆的毛球给我带来的美好的生活。毛球给我带来了许多欢声和笑语，圆圆的快乐和幸福。

我的宠物狗My House Dog

I’ma dog lover, because dogs are tame, friendly and easy to communicate with. Ihave kept one in my house, whose name is Chocolate. She is covered with browncurly hair and looks like a Teddy Bear. Now we have been living together fortwo years, so I’m very familiar with her characteristics. When she is hungry, sheoften barks loudly. At that time, I begin to realize that it’s time to feedher. She is keen on beef and fish. Sometimes, she also eats some rice.

我是一个爱狗的人，因为狗是很温顺，友好，也很容易交流。我在我家养了一只，它的名字叫巧克力。她的毛是棕色的卷毛，看起来就像泰迪熊。现在我们已经一起生活了两年了，所以我很熟悉她的性格。她饿了，她经常会大声吠。那个时候，我就会开始意识到是时候喂她了。她喜爱吃牛肉和鱼。有时候，她也吃一些米饭。

Everyday when I come home, she always jumps up to me happily, with her tail moving.She seems to be my best friend. As time goes by, the relationship between usbecomes closer and closer. Therefore, I think her as an important member in myfamily. I really have the pleasure of her company.

每天我回到家的时候，她都会用她的尾巴开心地跑向我。她就像是我最好的朋友一样。随着时间的流逝，我们两个的关系变得越来越亲密。因此，我觉得她是我们家里很重要的一员。有她在我真的很开心。
