Thereafter, Liao, Jin, Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasty all made Beijing their capital. Therefore, Beijing was famous for "Capital of a thousand years".

The long history leaves Beijing precious cultural treasure. Winding for several kilometers in Beijing area, the Great Wall is the only man-made structure that could been seen in the space. The Summer Palace is a classic composition of ancient royal gardens, and the Forbidden City is the largest royal palaces in the world. Tiantan is where the emperor used to fete their ancestors, and also the soul of Chinese ancient constructions. The four sites above has been confirmed world cultural heritage by UNESCO. However, the best representatives for Beijing are the vanishing Hutongs and square courtyards. Through hundreds of years, they have become symbol of Beijings life. Tiananmen square being still brilliant today with cloverleaf junctions and skyscrapers everywhere, the old-timey scene and modern culture are combined to present a brand new visage of Beijing.

As Beijing has been confirmed home city of Olympics 2008, the spirit of "green Olympics, scientific Olympics and humanized Olympic" will surely bring more and more changes to Beijing, promote the development of sports and Olympics in China as well as in the world, and strengthen the friendly communications between Chinese and foreign people.

I like to see movie so much. When I have time, the first thing I’d like to do is to find the hot movies and then buy some snacks, enjoying my movie hour. After appreciating so many movies, The Lord of the Rings impresses me the most. This movie has three series and I like them all. Though the moive was made in about 2000, its technology is still not out of date. In the movie, the scenery is such beautiful that I can’t move my eyes away. It was shot in New Zealand and I have made up my mind that I must go there someday and have a look at the beautiful scenery. The movie shows me a scientific world with all kinds of creatures. The wizards, the hobbies, the elves, the orcs and so on. It broadens my vision.

正值夏季，烈日高照，重庆城活像一个自然桑拿馆，人们走在路上也是风风火火的，鞋底似乎接触地面久了，就会熔化;头发遭到太阳的侵略后，感觉快要燃起来了。七、八月的重庆虽然异常炎热，但是却挡不住他们个个吃麻辣鲜香的火锅、串串，正如哈尔滨人在严冬吃冰棒，我们在这儿自然而然习惯了这种生活。

走在沿江的路上，江风吹拂过头发，不能说神清气爽，只是得到一时的自然空气罢了，在这时，不管你有什么烦恼，烦恼就一下子随风漂浮、游荡，老人们精神矍铄，眉头一舒展，头高昂着，步伐矫健有力，连那些残疾人也要拄着拐杖出来透气，眺望远处快落下的太阳，灿烂的云霞映红半边天，向人们做了充分的天气预报，照红每个人的脸颊。

江涛波光粼粼，如一团团红紫红紫的、奇丽的绸子，就在太阳把余晖洒向众人的时候，就在白云为太阳关上卧室的门的时候，回头一望，哎!满街的霓虹灯，多么炫丽，那五彩的光，你是怎么散发的?它，一群快乐的小精灵，无不充满爱的小精灵，开始在人们头上表演一支支舞，有是会唱一首歌。一个精灵下面一群人，一排精灵下面一大片人。

富有人情味儿、善与交友的重庆人，则在江边的大排档里开吃了。往往人越多的地方生意越好，尽管服务员累得满头大汗，但他们还是笑着，迎接着，总是小心翼翼地端着盘子，生怕把自己的汗洒进菜里。

服务员端一盘菜，就引一大波好吃狗回观。几个男人左手拿十几支串，右手拿着冰镇“重庆啤酒”，坐在路边，享受风的光顾，吃着香串;有些人来几盘入味的毛肚、牛肉，悠闲地品尝着。这还不够，冰啤酒来起!几句地道的重庆话祝福后，便像酒罐一样斜倚在树边，谈笑风生。喝的三分醉时就来划拳，眯起眼，便可熟悉分辨谁胜谁负。孩子们向爸爸要了几块钱，冲去隔壁买了几支冰糕，大家一起分享。

宠物狗在地上摇尾巴，嘴里哈着气，也许是刚才吃了片毛肚，辣着了，呵呵，着急地望着主人，给它喂一口冰糕呢!流浪狗则羡慕地望着有主人的狗。

夜景中一张张脸：辛苦而幸福的汗水脸、因喝酒而满脸通红的帅哥脸、秀气而不失豪气的美女脸……这就是不夜城——重庆，尽情地享受来自渝的味道吧!

I am writing this letter to say "thank you." First and foremost, it is clear that you, just like "our foreign mother", were very patient to us. Additionally, needless to say, you taught me a lot, not only English knowledge but also your life wisdom;consequently, all of us have fallen in love with English and study. Last but certainly not least, there is no doubt that we had a great time together, which we will keep in mind forever.

By the way, I cant wait to tell you something new about my class. After you left for the America, we had an English competition. We all did very well, using the knowledge you told us. No one can deny you helped us so much!
