小狗是人类的好朋友，这句话一点不错。有时你只要呼唤它一声，它立刻就会赶过来，绕着你的腿转，然后扑到你身上，用舌头舔你，用身子蹭你。有时你玩球时一不小心把球弄丢了，小狗就会跑过去，它的鼻子就像气味探测器似的到处找，不一会，小狗口里就叼着球回来了。

小狗的性格也是天真可爱。有时它跟小猫打斗，我就训斥他，无论怎样打它骂它，它也不叫，更不会咬你，就像一个做错事的孩子一样老老实实地呆着。

养小狗真好，还能节约粮食。每当我们吃剩的饭菜倒掉了一是觉得可惜，二是污染了环境，可是有了小狗就不一样了，它可以来吃剩菜剩饭，既环保，又充饥。它不但能帮忙看家，更像我的朋友一样与我分享快乐。

暑假的一天，我在楼道口发现了四只小狗。它们的个头那么小，像四只圆滚滚的肉馒头，可爱极了。我决定每天放学都去看看它们。

第二天，我兴冲冲地来到楼道口，发现有一只小狗已经死了。糟了，一定是没有人喂它们吃的。我难过极了，再也不想看到小狗死亡，于是，我决定每天都给小狗带狗粮来。就这样，我当了几天“代理狗妈妈”。

一天早晨，我走得太急，忘了带狗粮。我想回家拿，妈妈说：“放心吧，发现你没带狗粮，爷爷会帮你喂小狗的。”我只好去学校。这一天我过得忐忑不安，一放学就往家冲。冲到楼道口一看，我简直不敢相信自己的眼睛，小狗又死了一只!我的眼睛一下子涌了出来，我把剩下的两只小狗紧紧地抱在怀里，下定决心，无论如何都要收养它们。

经过我的一番“眼泪攻势”，妈妈总算同意放小狗进门。我给小狗取了名字，全身乌黑的那只叫孙小圣，灰色的那只叫镇元子。它们可爱极了，特别是见到食物的时候。只要我端着狗食盆叫它们的名字，它们就立刻“健步如飞”，冲到我面前，又是打滚又是摇尾巴。当我把食盆放下时，它们就展开了“狼吞攻势”，大吃大嚼。看到它们吃得津津有味的样子，我也很高兴，总是忘记妈妈“不要让它们吃得太饱”的叮嘱，忍不住又给它们添点儿。所以，如果现在你到我们家，就会看到它们像小猪一样“丰满”的身材啦!

外婆家有一只可爱的小狗。它的毛很光滑，乌黑发亮，眼睛圆圆溜溜的，像两颗黑珍珠，后腿长，前腿短，爪子也很尖，跑起路来又轻又快。

每次，我一回到婆婆家，这只小狗就会摇着尾巴一边汪汪地叫着，一边在我身上亲来亲去，向我表示欢迎呢。

小狗的警惕性很高，不管天有多黑，他都能看清周围的事物。有一次，天已经很黑了，有一个陌生人来外婆家，小狗看见了，就大叫起来，边叫边往那人身上扑去。我一看，就赶紧上楼叫婆婆，婆婆一看，原来是客人。小狗看着婆婆热情地招持客人，好像明白了什么似的，又好像给客人道歉似的，不停地拿舌头舔那人的裤腿。

小狗吃鱼还会吐刺呢。有一次，外婆给我炒了一盘鱼，我香喷喷地吃着，小狗蹲在我面前眼睛直勾勾地看着我吃，馋得一个劲地舔嘴唇，于是我就夹了一条给小狗，心想：扎你一回，看你还眼馋不。没想到，它吃得可香了，不一会儿，就把鱼给吃完了。我仔细一看，地上有一堆鱼刺，感到非常惊奇，原来这只小狗还会吐刺呀!

我想：多么神奇、可爱的小狗呀!

I really want to know why the hedgehog has so many hard thorns? Did they to protect themselves, and evolve? Should be like this? Every time see little hedgehog, I think so.

This is my idea of a small animal, a hedgehog. Needless to say how much I like it.

四只小短腿，一个胖乎乎，并带刺的身体，加上小巧的脑袋和柔软的腹部。凑成了可爱机灵的小刺猬。

小刺猬很可爱，它的全身，除了腹部，其他部分全都长满了刺，像一个小刺球。真是人见人爱。

刺猬的刺可是它的武器，每当遇到天敌时，它就会缩成一个可怕的刺球，就连凶猛的野猪也拿它没办法。

刺猬的爪子有老鹰的爪子那样锐利，所以，这还是刺猬捕捉其他小动物的好帮手之一呢!

在瓜地里，它还是远近闻名的“偷瓜贼”，它“偷”瓜的方法可和人类摘瓜的方法不一样哦——每当夜幕降临，小刺猬就会偷偷窜到瓜地里，将瓜皮刺进背上的“钢刺”里，然后，一翻身，就背着瓜溜走了。

刺猬还有一种神奇的本领，就是不仅会游泳，还会在水里抓蛇!刺猬会游泳是因为它生活在灌木丛内，怕热，所以会游泳。它会抓蛇是因为它不仅仅喜欢吃蛇，而且，蛇是软骨组织，是怕刺猬的。

我很想知道刺猬为什么身上有那么多的硬刺?难道是它们为了保护自己，而演化出来的吗?应该是这样的吧?每当看到小刺猬时，我都这么想。

这就是我心目中的小动物——刺猬。不用说我是多么喜欢它了。
