在生活中，卡罗立过许多功劳，但也犯过不少错误。比如有一次，看到我们全家都出去了，四处没人，它便站起来，试图偷吃消毒碗柜上的月饼。结果由于地面太滑，重心不稳，“扑通”一声，它摔了个货真价实的“狗啃泥”，把自己摔得半死不活。我们回到家后，卡罗可怜巴巴地望着我们，仿佛在说：“主人，我亲爱的好主人，我只是想帮你们看看月饼是否完好，没想到却因公负伤了，希望你们不要生气，快来救救我吧！”看到它那狼狈不堪的“无辜”样，我忍不住“噗哧”一笑，心软起来，赶紧叫妈妈为它疗伤。

还有一次，卡罗去鸡笼旁戏弄公鸡，结果鸡没抓着，它自已的脚却被鸡笼的铁丝给刮了一下，留下了一个醒目的“记号”，疼得它嗷嗷直叫，真是让人既爱又恨还有点可怜哪！
