When I got to the field with my friend. I was both excited and nervous. When I saw the first height, my heart could hardly heat.

In 2012 I had the worst year of my life.

The shock and extreme heart break brought me to my knees. The pain was so great and my world just looked desolate. I had no real home, no money, no job, and no friends that cared. Not one person had even sent me a sympathy card for my loss.

1. Breathe into pain

When we run away from sadness that’s unfolding in our lives, it gets stronger and more real. We take an emotion that’s fleeting and make it a solid event, instead of something that passes through us.

2. Embrace the uncomfortable

随着了解的加深，有关他的情况就在小区里传开了。他来自鲁西南，有两个孩子在我们的城市上大学，他通过在我们这个小区管理部门工作的亲戚找了这份工作， 一个月1200元，干完分内的工作后，他就在小区里拣废品，那些垃圾桶里的纸箱子、酒瓶子、塑料袋、矿泉水瓶等都捡拾起来，一个月下来也可以挣个几百元， 这样，加上孩子做家教的收入，上学的费用就有着落了。每个月还可以给老家邮回去一些钱，家里的柴米油盐也就够花了。

在一个周六的晚上，我去倒垃圾 的时候听到小房子里传来欢快的谈笑声。我敲开了门，原来是他的两个儿子来了。他们是在给人家上完家教之后一起来的，老大还买来了一个大西瓜，爷三个正在一 起吃着西瓜说着开心的事儿呢。他们见我来，很礼貌地让我在床沿上坐。两个孩子一个是学计算机，一个是学日语的，他们正各自讲着自己学校的事情。两个孩子的 穿着都十分朴素，但却丝毫也遮盖不住他们的才华和聪慧。我看得出，他们目光锐利，自信乐观，满脸上都是幸福的样子。
