Dear Sir,

I am writing to apply for a British Council scholarship to study in Britain. I did my five years basic training in medicine at Shanghai University. After this I successfully completed a one-year postgraduate course in Ophthalmology at the Peoples General Hospital, where I am at present serving a two-year probation in the Eye Clinic.

As a result of the publication in 2003 of my article in New Scientist entitled "Soft and Rigid Contact Lenses ", which was based on a survey of 37 patients over 6 months, I made contact with Dr. Li Ming of the Capital Hospital and Dr. Ma Li of the University College Hospital. I have received their help and advice with my current research project, which is a two-year survey of the acceptance of various types of contact lenses in 200 patients.

Despite their help, I feel that I cannot make real progress in this field unless I can actually have day-to-day contact with these specialists. I would therefore like to continue my research at either the Capital Hospital or the UCH as soon as my probationary period here is completed, and I would like to study in Britain for two years.

I enclose a detailed curriculum vitae and an offprint of my article, together with two letters of recommendation from Dr. Li Ming and Dr. Ma Li.

As everyone knows, stress is a natural part of everyday life and there is

no way to avoid it. As the pace of modern life continues to increase, we are

always feeling on the go from morning till night. And it is hard to slow down.

Therefore, stress goes hand in hand with the life in a competitive society.

Different people, however, think of stress quite differently. Some believe

that stress is not the bad thing it is often supposed to be. They are of the

opinion that a certain amount of stress is vital to provide motivation and give

purpose to life. Others argue that stress contributes to one’s mental decline

and hence endangers his health. According to them, relaxation, the opposite of

stress, is essential for a healthy mind and body.

Personally, I’m in favor of the former view. I think it is impossible to

avoid stress when one is entirely devoted to the career he pursues. In my

opinion, it is only when the stress gets out of control that it can lead to poor

performance and ill health.

the time to appreciate the full moon. My families always prepare for some

snacks. When we finish the dinner, all the members will come to the balcony and

sit down, appreciating the full moon. We talk and enjoy the chatting hour. I

have a good time with my families.

The Mid-autumn Day is one of the most important festivals in China. Before the festival, many shops sell mooncakes, round cakes with meat, eggs, nuts or something sweet inside. On the Mid-autumn Day, each family get together and have a big dinner.

In the evening we eat mooncakes and all kinds of fruit, such as apples, pears, grapes and watermelons. We look up at the blue sky, and enjoy the begger and brighter moon. Our grandparents will tell us the story of Change again.

Li Yangis my classmate. She is a good student and always ready to help others.

One day on she way to school, she saw a little girl crossing the road. A car was coming towards her quickly and the girl was too frightened to move. The car nearly hit her. Just then Li Yang rushed up to her and caught her by the arm. The little girl was saved. She told him where she lived, and he took her home. When Li Yang hurried into the classroom, the teacher had already begun his lesson. She told the teacher why he was late.

上上周的实习周记没写成，貌似是没时间写。忏悔下。。第三周和第四周都过去了，真的蛮快的。周二给他们上了圣诞节的新课，带去的圣诞帽，圣诞卡片，魔法棒，着实让小家伙们疯狂了一把。嘿嘿，到现在我还留着两张让他们惦记的圣诞卡，周一再送出去剩下的这两张。希望孩子们可以一直这样开心的学习!虽然这两周的活动大致就是宝带实验小学的每天的正常的教学流程，但是也有很多新的感受。同一天，突然有两个老师私下找到我，一个帮我介绍家教，一个想帮我介绍毕业后的工作，有意愿邀请我加入她老公正在筹备的培训公司。不管到时是否有机会去，听到这个消息还是蛮开心的，真的是有点意外的惊喜。家教我去了，是个氛围很不错的家庭，妈妈很有礼貌，对我很好，孩子也很懂事，我也很有激情的和他一起学习，希望这是我们俩一起提高的过程。

原来，任何时候，在任何地方，只要用心，再简单的生活都是可以长过常新的，而且每天都会有满满的幸福和感动。。上帝总会眷顾内心的阳光。。

或许孩子们就是世界上的精灵，眼神里闪着纯净的光芒，每个微笑，都会让你觉得，我们依旧是可以单纯的活着的，每天都是美好的，即使没有太阳，见到他们的笑脸，依旧会觉得很温暖。他们会崇拜我可以连续跳上百下绳子，会惊叹我可以跳“双飞”，自由活动的时间，我摇摇胳膊，扭扭腰，小家伙们都会不由自主的模仿起来，让我哭笑不得，然后还真的教起他们我之前在乔洋英语培训机构学的各种英语韵律操来。看着他们认真的样子，真想把自己会的东西都教给他们(不过，貌似我会的东西也不是特别多，但是那种冲动，或许是每个初为人师的我们，最单纯的鲁莽)。帮他们改作业的时候，总想让每个小朋友有所收获，看到那些清秀的工整整洁的字，我真的自愧不如，小朋友的字写的真是漂亮。可是很多时候他们还是没法避免，抄写都会抄错的小马虎。每次指出他们的错误，他们都是很无辜的自言自语：呀!我怎么抄错了呀，嘿嘿，我看错了。。然后转身飞快的回到座位上，一板一眼的改正好以后，第一时间拿过来给我批改，很庆幸，他们看我的眼神并没有恐惧，相反，是一种坦然和小得意，貌似，对他们来说，有机会和老师说话是件很快乐的事情，一对一的叮嘱，总能给孩子们一种被优待的感觉。检查他们过关的时候，他们总是很兴奋，争着抢着想先背，好开心他们都能够信心满满的把学到的知识很流畅的背下来。早上上公交，遇到面熟的别的学校的小学生，我们也可以聊上一路，哈哈，其实是我搭讪在先，因为看不惯他满嘴粗话，悄悄的去提醒的，幸运的是那个孩子立刻接受了我的友情提醒，还愉快的和我聊了一路，很开心呢!

宝带确实不错， 这里的老师们， 每天在学校的时间，除了上厕所，几乎所有的时间都是和他们在一起，陪着他们一起上课，写作业，批改试卷，做操，吃午饭，送放学，直到所有的孩子们都回家了，在回到办公室忙到下班时间。和他们在一起之后，才真正感受到小学老师的辛苦。但是，可贵的是，辛苦，他们也觉得是个甜蜜的负担。很多时候，情绪是自己培养的。六年级的毕业班，整体的氛围是比较紧张的，让我想到了我们之前的高考状态。数不清的试卷，默写，有的时候，老师也会在班级考试很糟的时候，不可避免的把他们狠狠骂一顿，让他们把试卷带回家签字。不管多凶，都掩盖不了那份关怀。在办公室里，他们已经很努力的调节过了，有时候所谓的“骂”，只是一种很严肃的反思，带着整个班级的学生一起反思。因为他们不愿意让孩子的付出就这样白费了，成绩当然不是最重要的，可是，作为一名人民教师，如果连成绩都不能满意，就是全班的孩子都很优秀，也会失去很多机会。我清楚的记得，指导老师在办公室里讲起班级的一个学生的进步时，那种眉飞色舞，那种欣慰，是孩子的状态。他们考虑最多的是怎样帮助孩子巩固，提高。现在我慢慢理解了，有分寸的干涉孩子的童年，有时候是必要的。引导他们找到一个最适合自己的轨道，然后靠自己的自主性，更好的前进。每一个尽心爱孩子的老师都是值得尊敬的。

学生的幸运是遇到一群负责的老师，老师的幸运是可以和家长一起，帮助孩子成长。前几天晨会，二(9)班评选“读书之星“和”书香家庭“，活动在班主任杨老师的主持下，进行的非常成功。尤其让我觉得欣慰的是，杨老师让同学们起来推荐的时候，他们可以那样本能的公正，毫不吝啬的推荐真正爱读书的人，最后支持率最多的那个同学，是我也很喜欢的积极的用功的朴素的柳雨昂。确实他当之无愧。孩子们这样默契的公正确实很可贵。书香家庭的评选，是要求参与的家庭的爸爸妈妈和孩子一起写读书感受的，多好的活动啊，我真的很喜欢这样形式的学校和家庭之间的相互交流合作。孩子好的成长氛围是需要学校和家庭的一致性的。或许，合格的父母，不是给孩子生命，给孩子食宿就可以这么简单的满足的。工作在忙，也会把孩子的教育放在心上。我看到有家长打电话给老师沟通的情形，也目睹了一个妈妈在下班后来我们办公室找到孩子的语文老师一起商量教育方法，她一直在自责，我听得出她的期望，但也感受到她希望自己的期待可以不伤害孩子的心灵，希望能够找到一种最合适的方式帮助孩子进步。我静静的听着，被那位妈妈感动了。很少有家长会这样全方位的关注自己的孩子，很少有这样注重孩子长远发展的家长。以后，我的孩子，我也一定要好好的引导他/她，而不是满眼都是分数。教育的事情，不是单靠学校，单靠老师，家庭的熏陶更重要。

最后记录点题外话，嘿嘿，某种程度上可以定义为：我利用职务之便，满足了自己一个小小的愿望。哈哈。不过貌似事实证明，那是个好事情呢!感谢那些帮助我的可爱的小朋友们。

越小的孩子越能表现出最天然的活力。最感动我的是，我记得让他们帮忙录个生日祝福视频的时候，他们是如此的兴奋。找到他们午餐后难得的自由支配的时间，和她们相约，饭后和他们一起做点学习之外的事情。我饭还没吃完，小朋友就迫不及待的想等我一起走。”小朋友们，可不可以帮刘老师一个忙啊?我的一个好朋友快过生日了，帮老师和他说句小鱼哥哥，生日快乐可以吗?“全班的小朋友都很兴奋的高举起手。我在黑板上写下祝福语句时，不知那个稚嫩的声音冒一句：刘老师，小鱼哥哥是你男朋友吗?呵呵，有点小吃惊，说好朋友他们还是会猜到。小朋友也知道这些哦。我窃喜的表情偷偷的一闪而过，却故意装作没有听到，迅速转移他们的注意力。小孩子面前我们不提爱情，只有亲情和友情。我把我镜头拿起的时候，就 感受到了他们内心的那中疯狂：各种搞怪，各种灿烂，各种得意洋洋，各种抢镜头的小九九。。到操场上找到几个不认识的几个四年级的班级也是一样的可爱：害羞的，调皮的，鬼脸的，蹦跳的，懂事的。。。他们的笑容真的好灿烂，比阳光还温暖。。捧着镜头，我的心里美美的，格外的开心。监考过后，又请五年级的小朋友帮忙，依然是小朋友那样的兴奋，那些笑脸并没有因为年龄的增长而失去活力，多幸福的事情啊。本来以为自己向别人借祝福是自私的事情，可是看到整个过程中孩子们开心的样子，我明白了，对于那些可爱的小家伙，能有机会送出自己的祝福是件很快乐很好玩的事情，或许只有我这样的课下不着调，陪着他们一起玩还可以玩的那么投入过瘾的老师，才会做出这样的幼稚的事情。可是我真的很喜欢，喜欢这样的状态，从孩子们那，我收获了很多快乐，他们的笑脸就是世界上最美丽的礼物，孩子们用行动解释了高尔基先生那句：给予是快乐的。。

明天，也就是差不多10分钟之后，是孩子们的”小鱼哥哥“的生日，亲爱的鱼，生日快乐。我们都要牙齿天天晒太阳，哈皮哈皮每一天。
