一、开展作风整顿建设的重大意义此次以邓小平理论和“三个代表”重要思想为指导，全面加强思想作风、学风、工作作风、领导作风、生活作风的整顿建设活动，是推动教育部门依法执教的迫切需要和重要举措，是促使教师进一步的树立正确的人生观、价值观的意识，是进一步的学校求真、务实、清廉的良好形象。 三个代表重要思想的本质是立党为公、执政为民，科学发展观的核心是以人为本，其最终的目的就是要把人民的利益作为一切工作的出发点和落脚点。教育牵扯到千家万户，要切实维护好广大农民群众的根本利益，就必须建立一支作风过硬、文化素质高的队伍。因此，作为一名教师，要增强紧迫感和责任感，通过对十八大的学习，使我提高了自己的思想政治水平，切实转变工作作风，力戒形式主义，大力弘扬求真务实的精神，在抓落实、求实效上狠下功夫，从而促进教育教学工作全面提高。
二、作风整顿建设中自身的努力方向
1、勤奋好学、学以致用，牢固树立终身学习的思想，坚持理论联系实际的马克思主义学风，认真的学习和领悟党的路线方针政策、法律法规知识及组织管理知识，把学习体会和成果转化为服务学校的能 力。
2、心系学生、服务人民，牢固树立马克思主义的群众观点，始终坚持党的群众路线，时刻摆正自己和学生、家长的位置，在思想感情上贴近学生，下大气力解决好学校、自身存在的突出问题，下大气力 做好关心后进生的转化工作，多办实事。
