“嘟、嘟、嘟”一辆汽车开进了森林，小动物们纷纷四处逃窜，难道是谁又来打猎了？原来是一名老木匠又从新造的一个小木偶，他这是要做什么呢？这时只见小木偶拿着一把亮闪闪发亮的锯子下车了。“咔擦，咔擦”啄木鸟村长马上赶了过去只见小木偶挥舞着锯子在砍树，小动物们纷纷来劝他，求他说:“小木偶，这是我们的家园，请别破坏它他也是一颗有生命的大树难道忍心砍掉它去做别的东西吗？也不保护好森林的资源吗？如果哪一天森林没有了，一系列灾害有沙尘暴等，都将在肆虐人类和我们，如果那时真的有危害人类的生命时，那么后悔都来不及了！”小木偶，抽着烟，继续砍他的树，根本不理小动物们的劝告。小动物们急得像热锅上的蚂蚁，到处想办法。啄木鸟村长飞到盗伐者—小木偶头上继续劝告，小木偶觉得不耐烦了一了，一手把啄木鸟村长给摔在了地上继续抽烟，继续砍树。

我们的瑞安是一个物产丰富、风景秀丽的好地方。周边的风景名胜数不胜数。万松山、隆山山上松杉葱郁，山脚鲜花竞相开放，一派生机勃勃的景象。

可是，你们是否有注意身边的一些恶习：洗好手，水龙头还在哗啦啦的流着，而用水人却不知所踪；房间里开着电灯、电视，里面却空无一人；学校教室里的垃圾桶，里面装的不是垃圾而是一些都还可以用的文具，仅用了几页的笔记本、才用了一半的铅笔，橡皮……数不胜数，殊不知现在的水电资源紧缺，贫困山区的孩子们连书都读不起，他们没有教室、书本、铅笔、纸笔……亲爱的同学们，你们是否碰到过类似的现象？你们是否想过大自然的资源是有限的，这些看似生活中的小事，会给人们带来多大的后果？

现在，地球上的森林面积已经减少了一半，就看近几年森林的面积还在大幅度减少。从1990年的40亿平方千米的森林面积到2001年的36亿平方千米，这是一个多么惊人的数据。另外据一则报道：虽然覆盖地球面积的72%是水，但是淡水还不到0。5%，而且70%的淡水都在南极、格陵兰的冰层之中，其余多为土壤水分或深层地下水，不能被人类利用。地球上只有不到1%的淡水，如果再继续浪费我们的水资源，地球上的最后一滴水将是我们自己的眼泪。

亲爱的同学们，珍惜自然资源，要从我做起，从小做起。因此，我要提出以下几点建议：

1、要植树造林，爱护树木，保护森林。通过大力宣传，让植树造林的意识深入人心，增强人们对森林保护的意识，同时减少浪费纸张的现象，从另一角度看，减少纸张浪费也是保护森林的一项重要举措。一张纸我们可以拿来练铅笔字，铅笔字练完了还能练中性笔，中性笔练完了还能练毛笔字……

2、节约用水，人人有责。在公共场地的洗手槽上方贴上标语，减少浪费水的现象。若有看见水龙头在不停流水，我们就要主动上去关掉闸门，为节约用水提供一份自己的力量。在家，还可以建议自己的的爸爸妈妈，淘米的水不要直接倒掉，我们可以拿这个淘米水洗菜，浇花，最后还能用于冲洗马桶呢。一举数得，既节约又环保，又何乐而不为呢？

为了我们的地球母亲能永远微笑，同学们，让我们立刻行动起来吧！保护自然资源从我做起。从身边做起。

大自然的环保是地球上所有人都应做的事，可是现在市民的生活水平有所提高，所以对我们的地球卫生不太重视了。

当我们路过小渠边，看到渠边的垃圾，由此我们便猜想到假如我们是绿树是小草是鲜花，鲜花是人小草是人绿树是人，假如他们把我们掩埋在垃圾下面，那我们会是什么样的感受，可以转化一下思想，假如植物会说话，它们一定会劝告人们不要破坏环境，其实我们也是这其中的一员，大家应该彼此关爱，彼此帮助，关爱植物就等于是关爱人类自己一样，所以从现在开始我们应该保护环境，做一个环保者。

尊重有些人看不起捡垃圾的人，说他们不讲卫生，其实我认为，捡垃圾的人有一种内在的品质，因为他们知道他们所收集的垃圾对他们有两个有利的地方：一是可以卖一些垃圾赚钱，二是可以保护环境卫生。其实清洁工也想让人们每天都能够呼吸新鲜空气，让人们有一个好身体。所以我们应该感谢捡垃圾的人，他们不但给我们带来了健康的好身体，还让我们呼吸大自然的气息。

人和自然是地球上的“两大家族”，按辈分说，自然是人类的长辈。可如今，人类并非以晚辈之礼对待着这位哺育着自己成长的长辈。

几亿年前，自然母亲哺育出了恐龙，它们体型庞大，所向披靡，没有任何动物是它们的对手，在三叠纪、侏罗纪和白垩纪独占鳌头。但是由于它们的贪婪、狡猾、自私，尤其是食肉恐龙，更为贪婪，甚至不把自然母亲放在眼里，根本不听从她的管辖。于是，自然母亲创造了海啸、地震、龙卷风、火山喷发等多种灾害。强大的恐龙军队毕竟没有抵抗这些灾难的能力，最终被时间的推移逐渐埋没，直至消失。恐龙灭绝后，自然母亲也就收回了这些可怕的灾害。

几亿年后，自然母亲突发奇想，创造了一种长着四肢，且有尾巴，树栖的动物（森林古猿）。她把自己的躯体化成了这种动物所生存的家园：每一颗大树都是她的一根毛发，每一条河流都是她的一根血管，每一朵云彩都是她呼出的一口气，太阳和月亮便是她的双眼……这种动物遍布全球，他们融洽相处。自然母亲看到这些，长长地吁出了一口气，她很累，没一会儿便睡着了。

自然母亲一睡就是几万年，她醒来一看，她所创造的这种动物的尾巴，已经退化消失了，四肢行走已变成直立行走，大脑也越来越发达，而且会捕捉猎物、种植农作物、建造简单的房屋。自然母亲开始为自己的创造而得意，渐渐地，她又有一些睡意，于是，她又补了一个“回笼觉”。

虽说是“回笼觉”，可她也睡了一万年，而且，她可以说是被“疼”醒的，当她醒来后，被眼前的景象所惊呆了：她的毛发——树林，在急剧减少，很多地方已变成不毛之地；她的血管——河流，脏乱又浑浊；血液里的血细胞——鱼类，很多已经变成了餐桌上的美食；工厂排出的浓烟呛的她喘不上气……她的双眼——太阳和月亮，好像也开始模糊不清，但也能让她来见证这灭亡的时刻。她用自己的浑浊的双眼去搜寻那罪恶的元凶时，她发现了自己所创造并已经进化的动物（人类）。她带着不忍与无奈，再次放出了那些可怕的灾害，但是让她没想到的是，人类已具备了抵抗绝大部分灾难的能力！最终，她败下阵来，带着疑惑，带着不解，带着痛心——我把我的一切都给了他们，可是结果怎么会变成这样？

人类破坏着自然，就相当于在破坏着自己，要知道，人与自然是一体的。人类啊，醒醒吧，保护自然，刻不容缓！让我们一起行动起来，来保护我们赖以生存的家园吧，否则等待我们的将会是灭亡！——后记

Secondly， the city government must have a tight control over rural people entering cities to engage themselves in trade or do various physical jobs so as to lessen the pressure on the city caused by the increased population. Finally more and more people suggest that living blocks with shopping centers， schools， hospitals as well as cinemas and theatres round them or even satellite towns should be built in city suburbs or the countryside round the cities. In this way city citizens will be encouraged to move there to live and work. If these three proposals are well carried out， the city population will be greatly reduced.
