In my opinion, two of the most critical causes of this waste material problem are the increased consumption and a shortage of space for landfill.

To begin with, modern lifestyle has contributed greatly to the increasing amount of waste and garbage we produce everyday. In other words, we have turned into a materialistic and mass-consumption society where we use more and throw away more than ever before. Moreover, countries are running out of space to store garbage and waste material. In fact, securing land for waste disposal raises controversies in many countries.

To solve this intractable problem, every citizen needs to participate in producing less garbage. 看了周月泉的漫画，展现在我的眼前是一位偷伐者正得意地笑着，他为自己偷伐树木的成功而兴奋，为自己又可以赚一大笔钱而得意，嘴角微微翘起，嘴里叼着雪茄，脸上泛着阵阵红晕，斧头在手中有力地挥舞着，树被他砍得发出了阵阵呻吟声，而他并没有手下留情，依然我行我素，脑海中时不时浮现着自己赚大钱的样子。正当他美美地想着，突然飞来了一只啄木鸟来啄他的头，并气愤地说道：“这里面一定有虫。”

看了这幅漫画，我不 禁为之动容。是啊!在这位偷伐者的脑袋中的确有这样一只虫。那是一只自私、贪婪之虫，这位偷伐者只顾自己眼前的利益，而不做长远打算。生活中，像偷伐者这样贪得无厌的人比比皆是。有一些人为了自己能赚到钱而去打猎，把一只只可爱的动物伤害了。试问这些人的良知在哪里?他们有没有想过将来，有没有想过自己的子子孙孙呀!他们好比一只井底蛙，目光短暂。同时他们是自私的，有些人甚至建起了工厂，大量排放污水，是小鱼不能回到自己那清澈可爱的家园，这些是多么可恨啊!

人类啊，因为你们的自私、贪婪，使原本清澈的小溪，现在已污浊难闻;原本碧緑的草地，现在已成高楼大厦;原本动听的鸟鸣声，现在已寂静无聊。人类啊，不要等到地球上的最后一滴水是你们的眼泪时，才开始后悔，人类啊!醒醒吧!不要在为了眼前的蝇头小利而破坏大自然了。请让生命之水长流，请让生命 之緑永驻，请让和谐之树常青，请让文明之花永不凋谢!请让我们携起手来，共同缔造美好緑色的明天吧!

It seems we are living in the conflict between modern and traditional cultures every day. Hearing the blaring of horns the moment you step out of your house, seeing the so called "pop" the moment you open your eyes, you cant help thinking, "Will the traditional culture be gradually lost?"

Many people believe so. They may put right in front of you all the evidences they can dig out. They may argue that people are rushing to restaurants instead of cooking at home, listening to pop music but not traditional, wearing in a way people couldnt imagine ten years ago. Modern people like the air of freedom, not to be restrained by traditions. They offer this long list, only trying to confirm that this world is full of fashion,competition and temptation and the traditional culture is fading

Though we are now living in a world in which undeclared aggression, war, hypocrisy, chicanery, anarchy are part of our daily life. Though this is a skeptical age, and our faith has weakened, our confidence in some aspects of the traditional culture should and would never be lost.

The environmental pollution is worse and worse /more and more seriously today . Water is polluted we have no clean water to drink Many trees are cutting down some animals is getting less and less.Some factories is poring dirty air in the sky the population is increasing faster and faster resources is getting less and less…etc. We should n’t throw away rubbish everywhere.We want to recycle reduce reuse things .Don’t waste things This saves money and reduces pollution. Use things for as long as possible. We don’t use plastic bags . We mus plant more trees and stop the people cutting them .We hope our world is more and more beautiful .
